Big Boo's Haunt is Course 4 of Super Mario 64 DS. 15 stars are required to access it. Enter one of the wooden doors on the left or right side of the staircase on the first floor, then follow the Boo down the hallway and into the courtyard. After that, go to the far left corner and defeat the large Boo there, then walk into the cage to enter Big Boo's Haunt.

Star 1: Go On a Ghost Hunt

In this level, enter the building in front of you. Next, enter the second door on the right, and defeat the two Boos in the room. After that, leave the room and enter the leftmost room on the rear wall and defeat the Boo in there. Then, go in the other door on the rear wall, defeat the Boo in there, move on to the next room and defeat the Boo in that room, then go back to the large main room. It takes three hits to best the big Boo, after which the staircase will rise and lead to the first star in this level.

Star 2: Ride big boo's merry-go-round

Walk into the mansion. take a right and enter into the room. walk straight off of the platform. swim to the platform with a door on it. Walk through the door and simply punch all of the littler boos. The big boo will appear. Punch him three times and you will get a star.

Star 3: Secret of the Haunted Books

Enter the mansion. Go up the stairs and make a left. Enter the 1st door on the left wall. Avoid the flying books while running to the end of the shelf. Turn right and run to the end. At the end are three books. Punch them in this order: top, right, left. The bookcase will slide open to reveal a door. Go through the door and there is your star.

Star 4: seek the 8 red coins

  • Coin 1: Enter the mansion. Go through the door on your left. Get the biting piano to chase you around the room so you can get the coin behind it. Exit the room
  • Coins 2 and 3: Go through the next door on your left. Jump on top of both bookcases to get coins 2 and 3.
  • Coin 4: Go to the front door and take a right. Jump on to the platform next to it to get the coin. Leave through the door through which you came in.
  • Coin 5: Go upstairs. Take a right and enter through the last door. Walk to the other side of the room, but avoid the middle. Get the coin and go through the closest door.
  • Coin 6: Jump up and punch the red ? box. Mario will be able to float to the coin suspended in the middle of the room. Float up to the second floor
  • Coin 7: From the top of the stairs, make a right and enter through the closest door. Walk around in that room until you see the coffins. Go to the one on the right side in the front and wait for it to pop up. get the coin underneath it.
  • Coin 8: Enter the room directly left of the stairs. Run to the end of the wire platform and long jump to the other side to get the coin. the star will be outside the door on the second floor.
