A Sheep like creature that resides in some areas of Leafre. They are strong to holy so Priests will have much trouble against these monsters. However, they are weak to Ice, making them a great monster for Ice mages to train on. It's said that when a Birk cries out, a baby dragon will be hatching soon.

Usually the next step up from Ghost Pirates for White Knights and Crusaders. Map layout encourages partying, although solo training would be quite feasible as well. Entrance to Unbalanced Time is located on the top-most platform in Warped Path of Time <3> in the Ludibrium Dungeon.

It also can use its mini reapers to do 3700 damage at the spots its summoned at (Notified by a skull on the ground), has a 3300 damage fire attack, has a healing skill which heals the Statues and itself, and the ability to be invincible to Physical or Magical attacks for a short time. It is supported with two Lion Statues and two Knight Statues each with their own skills which makes this boss challenging for low levels. In GlobalMS, Ergoth drops an item called Ergoth's Jawbone, which is needed to upgrade Ancient Armor into the powerful Bosshunter Gear. In the MapleStory anime, He is the main antagonist.

One of the most annoying bosses in Zipangu. This boss is only located at the Buddha Statue map in Zipangu, and has a bunch of Dreamy Ghosts guarding it. What's annoying about this boss is that you cannot take a breather, and there is basically no safe platform there to recharge your stats before fighting it again. Also the boss is weak to lightning, so Ice/Lightning Mages could be some help, but the boss is mainly for melee type classes, namely White Knight. In GlobalMS, Black Crow drops the Tengu Nose, an item needed to upgrade Ancient Armor into the powerful Bosshunter Gear.

Seems to possess a magic attack similar to the Ranger's Arrow Rain, but rains spears instead at a huge range. Just be thankful they do the Spear Rain skill only after being aggravated a lot. Dual Birks also retain the ranged magic attack that ordinary Birks have. They are also strong against holy with additional resistance to poison. Also, their defense buff is so powerful, expect your damage to be decreased by about 1000, unless you have a priest with Maxed Dispel to get rid of their buff. It is also confirmed that they drop the level 100 spear. Located in some maps near Leafre.

He has Super Knockback and stun. Be especially careful to watch for the Attack Up buff, which can double his damage. Since he can add a lot of new monsters to the already crowded area, you may want to take him out next. Fortunately, he is neutral to all elements.
