The equipment used for a pirate are knuckles, pistols and bandanas, pants,sandals and some pirate/sailor looking hats. To wear this equipment you need to have str and dex. Without this the equipment is totally useless. Brawlers use knuckles to fight which are good and bad. Good because they can do decent damage bad because they are not as fast as bandits. Gunslingers use guns, hence the name to attack. They do not have the range of a bow or throwing stars but in the later levels they do pretty decent damage. But if you do not know what to choose, a good idea is to buy knuckles and guns in the early levels of being a pirate to decide which you like more. Do not put any skill points in anything until you have decided what you want to become.
