Aswan is a party quest area that can be solo'd. It also has a boss party quest available to 120+ only.

Requirements

For Level 40 and above. Locate the "Dimensional Mirror" in most towns, select "Fight for Azwan" There are four tiers of battles:

  • Lvl 40-79
  • Lvl 80-119
  • Lvl 120-159
  • Lvl 160-250

There will be four modes of gameplay

  1. Occupy
  2. Attack
  3. Defend
  4. Supply

The first three modes has four levels of difficulty: Easy, Normal, Hard and Hell. In the first three modes, Cygnus monster minions will spawn to help you. Higher difficulty levels feature more powerful monsters in greater numbers, but you'll earn more Honor EXP and Azwan coins if you are victorious. The strength and number of monsters you face in solo mode will be lower than in party mode.

The Maximum number of players allowed in any of Azwan Occupy, Attack and Defend modes: 6 players Maximum entry count: 10 times per day

Occupy mode

Occupy mode focusses on a tower assault strategy.

Stop enemies from progressing left. Destroy the Guardian Tower on the right to win.

Tips

  • If enemies reach the left side, the Guardian Tower will recover HP.
  • The Owl Tower drops rocks on you for massive damage. These rocks deal damage without regard for any avoidability or invulnerabilities that you might have.

To avoid it try to take cover while they hover in the air for a moment before dropping.

The Guardian Tower uses two powerful beam attacks that will deal damage without regard for any avoidability or invulnerabilities that you might have.

To avoid it you can use your Cygnus minions as shields in this situation; if they’re nearby, they’ll take the brunt of the blast instead of you.

Watch Out!

Watch out for stone statues that drop onto the floor as it indicates that the Guardian Tower is about to release its super attack.

Hard and Hell mode

Hilla's Monster Guardian will appear at an altar in Hard and Hell modes to increase the challenge.

What to avoid? Avoid pentacles on the ground when it uses its storm cloud attack.

Differences

There are some differences between the Occupy mode altars and the Attack mode altars:

  • Altars in Occupy mode have a wider attack range than those in Attack mode.
  • Altars in Attack mode have an additional skill that recovers the Guardian Tower’s HP.

Attack mode

Same as Occupy mode.

Defend mode

Defence mode focuses on a tower defence strategy. Prevent the Cygnus Faith Stone from being destroyed to win.

Strategies

There are two strategies to win:

  • Smash all of the ballistae
  • Protect the Cygnus Faith Stone until time runs out.

Ballista

When you see a message saying that a ballista has appeared, keep a look out for a red dot on the platforms. This is where the ballista will appear.

Avoid at all costs!

You have a limited amount of time to react before a ballista fires a volley. This is shown in a bar that fills up in a display that indicates the number of ballistae are left. The ballistae launch faster and do more damage to the Cygnus Faith Stone at higher difficulty levels.

Supply mode

Supply mode functions much like a normal hunting mini dungeon. There is no difficulty option for this mode.

This quest can be found at Longorias between 2PM and 8PM.

To play, monsters will drop Azwan Supply Boxes. Collect 100 boxes and use the portal within the map to visit Longorias to complete the quest. This is a repeatable quest on a daily basis. Honor EXP rewards increases every 10 honor levels you gained.

For every Honor level reached, you can obtain some Ability Circulator from the Azwan merchants.

You can view your Honor level, Honor EXP, and Abilities in the character statistics menu.
