There has never been any advernture who's ever been defeated by the Snail, so if you're the kind of adverture that likes to chanllenge yourself, it might not be such a bad idea to try and actualy be defeated by this Snail! The explosion is so powerful that it will knock an attacker all the way across the map. It deals a lot of damage, so mages and low level characters must be very careful. If not defeated in one minute, it will disappear. With the end of Halloween, these chests can no longer be summoned.

A tougher snail but still very easy to slay . Found in most locations in Maple and Victoria Island. In addition, a regular monster can be transformed into one by the Priest skill Doom. The snail family are known as farm pests. Slightly faster than the regular Snail, a magician's "Slow" skill while maxed will decrease the Blue Snail's speed to -90.

Monster Book: The Blue Snail found all throughout Maple Island and Victoria Island. It's the bigger and badder version of the regular Snail with a bigger body frame as well as stronger attack strengths, but even with all its enhancements, it is still a monster that can easily be defeated by beginners. It's hard to say, however, why the Snail turned blue while it grew bigger! A player who's reached Lv. 2 on the 3 Snail Skill could use the Blue Snail's shell as a throwable weapon too.

Shroom
MS Monster Shroom.png

  • MP: 15
  • PDR: 0%

  • EXP: 5
A small poisonous mushroom. Fast and tricky for less experienced travelers. Not the best monster for magicians-to-be because of their speed and attack. Found in Henesys, the South West Side of Victoria Island, and all over Maple Island. Unlike stronger mushroom-monsters, Shroom drops spores rather than Mushroom Caps.

Monster Book: A small mushroom monster that is often found in grassy areas. It is relatively fast for a low-level monster, but beginners could easily defeat these mushrooms with a little practice. These look a lot like the Orange Mushroom monsters but they actually have a much smaller frame and have much more mean-looking faces compared to the Orange Mushroom. It tends to disburse mushroom spores in the air, which is the single reason why there are so many mushroom monsters all throughout Maple World!

Bob

  • Level: 2
  • HP: 777
  • MP: 0
  • PDR: 0%
  • MDR: 1%
  • EXP: 7
This monster is interestingly enough based off of player-created lore surrounding a random Green Snail that spawns in Drake's Meal Table, a very odd location. It has been adopted into a real monster due to its popularity. Surprisingly, it can jump and moves pretty fast, for a snail. No one has been able to calculate Bob's exact age but he appears to be even older than Grendel. Bob proves that big things come in small packages through his heroism by saving someone from the drakes. Bob's spawn rate used to be low and restricted to one monster per map, but now spawns repeatedly on the same map (more than one Bob can be present at a time). Bob's shell is needed for Jay's Curiosity quest.

Harder to kill for beginning mages between levels 1 and 10. Found in most places Blue Snails are. Slightly faster than the regular Snail, a magician's "Slow" skill while maxed will decrease the Red Snail's speed to -90.

Monster Book: There's apparently a rumor going around that says that the Blue Snails had turned red after leveling-up from their incessant combating, but such a rumor has not been confirmed. This monster can be spotted everywhere throughout Maple Island and Victoria Island. It has unbelievable speed and attack strengths, especially for a snail, which may make it somewhat of a challenging opponent for a beginner. A player who's reached Lv.3 on the 3 Snail Skill could use the Red Snail's shell as a throwable weapon too.

Stump
MS Monster Stump.png
  • Level: 4

  • PDR: 0%
  • MDR: 1%
  • EXP: 8
A slow but enduring tree stump. Harder to kill than other monsters its level. Found in the Northern paths of Victoria Island. Slower than a regular Snail, a magician's "Slow" skill at max will reduce the Stump's speed to -110.

Monster Book: A monster that resembles a tree stump that is most often found in grassy areas and the highlands. Its short legs that used to be the tree's roots move very slowly and the tree stump can only make weak attacks, but it is also surprisingly strong which makes beginners have to spend a long time to defeat this monster. The eye on this Stump often scares people, but the single eye will apparently shed a tear from time to time. This rare occasion serves as the origination of the people of Perion referring to valuables as the Tear of Stump.
