Name | Monster Info | Notes |
---|---|---|
Jar |
One of the weakest monsters in the Herb Town area. Think of it as a tremendously powerful dark axe stump. The jar isn't actually the monster; instead, an amphibious creature that has taken up residence inside the jar is responsible for its movements.
Goby |
Auto-aggressive
They only emerge after their house is destroyed.
Homun |
A young Homunculus, a person without a soul created through the powers of Alchemy. Found deep in the Zenumist Laboratories of Magatia. It has the tendency to spawn in swarms like many Magatia monsters.
D. Roy |
Undead
A humanoid robot, connected to a giant chamber containing its mechanical heart. It has a poison mist attack. The strongest technological and (not coincidentally) rarest monster found in Magatia's Alcadno Laboratories. You are asked to retrieve its heart for a quest.
Peach Monkey |
A thieving monkey that pilfers peaches from Tae Sang's Peach Farm outside Mu Lung. It throws the peaches from its sack at players when angered, similar to a Lupin with bananas. The peaches move very slowly, and are thus easy to avoid.
AF Android |
Ginseng Jar |
A slightly stronger version of the Jar, but instead of containing an Amphibian, it has a tiny Ginseng. Located in Herb Town.
Bamboo Warrior |
Boss
A boss found in Herb Town.
Sage Cat |
A monster from the Peach Farm in the Mu Lung Garden region. It looks dignified. The Sage Cats were formerly peaceful creatures, however when they came across the Legendary Being's Scroll, its' overwhelming power caused them to become evil. They have a poor HP to experience ratio, though much better than that of Yeti. They can also cast Magic Defense Up, halving any magic damage inflicted on them and can also slash with their claws at close range.
King Sage Cat |
Auto-aggressive
The leader of the Sage Cats, street cats which gained immense power from the Legendary Being's scroll and the Book Ghost. It spawns in a special area of Mu Lung called "Master Goblin's Forest." Master Goblin is an exceptionally devious creature, tricking people with poisons and taking over the mind of Tae Roon with a dark spell. His goal is to conquer Mu Lung and defeat the masters inside to prove he is superior. Take great care when dealing with him.
Male Boss File:MS Monster Male Boss.png |
Boss
One of the three Showa Town bosses. The Male Boss is found at the highest floor of the hideout and Showa Town three. When attacked, he takes out his gun and starts shooting, or starts to physically fight you. At the same time, he can summon the Extras and Leaders to help out.
Geist Balrog Phase 3 |
Auto-aggressive
The third phase of the boss of Amoria PQ. Once its Crimson Balrog form is defeated, it will turn into what you see here. Except, Geist Balrog can cast Weapon or Magic Cancel. It can also Dispel. The most annoying ability it has is its Teleport, which warps to random spots at any given time. Geist can be translated to mean ghost in German, and though this Balrog is somewhat transparent, it is strangely not undead.
Mu Gong |
Boss
The final boss in Mu Lung Dojo. He used to be much stronger, but recently his stats were nerfed though. He can cast seduce (This version forces you to crouch down for the duration of the curse), zombify, and weakness. This boss possesses different offensive skills; it can fire a very fast energy ball that does super knockback, it can also enlarge itself and cause an earthquake like attack. Finally it can use an AoE skill that summons falling pillars to land in a certain area indicated by a flashing panda statue.
Buffy |
A yellow Jester-like monster that appears in the Warped Path of Time I along with its stronger counterpart. Doesn't jump or move fast, but has an unavoidable magic attack and generally un-noteworthy drops.
During the GlobalMS Christmas event in 2006, 2007 and 2008, all Buffy were turned turned half red and Green.
Bellflower Root |
A monster from Herb Town. The Bellflowers were once a peaceful race living in the Bellflower valley outside of Herb Town. When the Pirates began attacking, their leader was kidnapped by Lord Pirate and is being held hostage aboard their ship. The pirates, in their cruelty, have forced the Bellflowers to defend their hideout.

Dinogoth |
Bombing Fish House |
An immobile rock house. Don't think it's part of the background, as it has a surprisingly high touch damage for an inanimate object. When threatened, the Gobies inside can attack with a long-ranged, medium-damage, multi-target spell. The Gobies can also cast a protective Weapon Cancel barrier on the house, rendering Physical attacks useless. When the house takes enough damage, it explodes and summons six angry Gobies. Found only in the Aqua Dungeon.
Deet and Roi |
Boss
A former bot-catching monster found in Magatia.
Broken DF Android |
Soul Teddy |
Undead
A lost soul has inhabited a discarded teddy bear. The soul can be seen guiding the bear, hovering over it's shoulder. Appears with its stronger counterpart at Forgotten Path of Time I. Cannot jump or fall over like the other teddies. Like Buffies, they have generally un-noteworthy drops, and bad spawn. Zombies are a better option. Only the teddy's body, not the soul, can cause contact damage, and take damage. It has a ranged attack that looks a lot like the magician's skill Magic Claw.
Sr. Bellflower Root |
An older version of the earlier Bellflower. It is being forced to attack players by the cruel Lord Pirate, who has kidnapped their leader. For some reason, it is stronger than it was when it was young! Found near Herb Town.

Lazy Buffy |
A purple jester. Like its weaker counterpart, it will attack you with unavoidable magic, and has generally un-noteworthy drops. Found in the left side path at Ludibrium's Clock Tower.
Yellow Speeyor |
Bone Fish |
Undead

A Skeleton Fish that has a Ranged attack by stretching its body and using its head to damage players. Has the ability to reduce Physical and Magic attacks to 1, but cannot do both at once. Only located in the two Aqua Dungeon Maps on the western side of Aquarium.
Mossy Snail |
A huge, prehistoric snail. It resembles a younger form of Mano. Its shell is hard as rock and thus algae and moss grow on it freely. Only found in Ellin Forest, a town in the past.
Monster Book: The ancient snails that live in Ellin Forest. They are much bigger than the regular snails and have sharp teeth. They have a tendency to remain stationary in one place for a long time, passively waiting for a prey.
Homunculus |
An evolved Homun, a failed Homunculus created by the powers of Alchemy. Found deep in the Zenumist Laboratories of Magatia.
Master Soul Teddy |
Undead
Another teddy bear that has been inhabited bu a much larger soul. Appears with regular Soul Teddies. Like Soul Teddies, it cannot jump or fall over and is a monster that is generally not trained on. Also, like the regular soul teddies, only the teddy, not the soul part, can cause contact damage. Found on the right hand side path of Ludibrium's Clock Tower.
Dinodon |
Lion Statue A File:MS Monster Lion Statue A.png |
Boss
This Statue which fights along side Ergoth uses a 2500 damage Magic attack. It is only meant to annoy you when the 1HP/1MP attack kicks in. It also has the ability to heal its allies, like Ergoth and the statues.

Boss
This statue which fights along side Ergoth controls the slow spell that can be cast against you.
Beetle |
A strange beetle monster. Found in Leafre.
Mr. Alli |
This monster seems to be an amalgam of other monsters. It has two different magical attacks, which it will use interchangeably depending on how close the attacking character is. When the player is up close, Mr. Alli blows a strong gust of wind, stunning the attacker. If the player should retreat, he begins to shoot feathers, which cause the bird on its head to attack in an annoying fashion when it strikes someone. As of now, it's unknown why they are part of Lord Pirate's crew (Found in the PQ, first map of the pirate ship and two maps around the Pirate ship) but they take Bellflowers as hostages as Krus and Captains do, though Mr. Alli prefers to carry them in a sack. Found in Herb Town.

Time Sphere |
Boss

Crimson Balrog |
Boss
A monster riding a pirated ship around Ossyria invading other ships. It may resemble that of Jr. Balrog, which can be found at the deepest part of the Dungeon at the center of Victoria Island, but the difference being that it has wings to fly with. The general attacking ability, especially the magic attack, is off the charts. Since it is evil by heart, religious powers work well against it, so try attacking it with holy spells.
Geist Balrog Phase 2 |
Boss
The second form of Geist Balrog. Basically the same as Crimson Balrog, but has more HP.
Knight Statue A File:MS Monster Knight Statue A.png |

This statue which fights along side Ergoth controls the Green ice spike attack which can bring your HP and mp to 1. It can also summon Jr. Gargoyles and seal your skills. You cannot hit this statue until Ergoth is dead.
Tree Rod File:MS Monster Lord Tree.png |
A huge, prehistoric stump-like monster. It's by far the strongest stump monster. However, looking into the eyes gives it the feeling of a Wraith. Only found in Ellin Forest, an area in the past.
Dreamy Ghost File:MS Monster Dreamy Ghost.png |
Undead
A dreaded monster wandering around the Deep Forest within Zipangu. It hovers around and attacks anyone that attacks first. The Dreamy Ghost either casts magic on you or attack you fiercely with a horrifying look. It is found at the same place where the Black Crow is found, so don't try to fight Dreamy Ghost unless you can fight the Black Crow. Since it is an undead creature, Dreamy Ghost is best fought by holy attacks. In MapleSEA, it is commonly refered as Mong.

It drops many valuable items, including the super-rare Ribgol Sword and Blade Staff. Required to get 300 of its scrolls to be able to access the first Neo Tokyo map.

A huge, monstrous Homunculus, a failed attempt at creating a person with the powers of Alchemy. A wretched monster rarely found in the deepest parts of Magatia's Jenumist Laboratories with its weaker counterparts.
