It housed a technologically advanced civilization that used powerful techniques to perform good acts. No one knows why they disappeared, or why the continent suddenly surfaced. The town is run and populated by a number of fascinating characters, ranging from the mayor, Icebyrd Slimm, to renegade Amorian prince Jack Masque. The city uses a set of warp systems developed by the local genius and time traveler, Professor Foxwit, called Foxwit Doors. The city's laws are enforced by the ironically named Lita Lawless, a former thief from Kerning City. Masteria is the new continent featured in GlobalMS. Currently it has one town on it, New Leaf City. Many areas that will be expanded in the future can be seen, particularly Vineland, Affluent Tower, and Crimsonwood Keep, as well as an unnamed Sphinx which resembles a Yeti. Also there has been mention of a new world named Versal, with one NPC planning on opening a portal to that world. Many legends surround the island and its history. Stories range from immortal warriors and mad scientists to threats from outer space. The island was raised from the ocean through a mysterious deal between the Mayor and an unknown person.
