{{Cleanup|April 2007}}
The training locations listed below are for power leveling. Each section briefly describes the best places to kill large amounts of monsters to level the fastest for that level range.
<!-- *Level 1-10: (or level 8 for mages) Anywhere in Maple Island. Great respawn rate, bad idea to leave. Potential Magicians should avoid doing '''BIGGS COLLECTION OF ITEMS''' quest as killing Orange Mushrooms takes a very long time.
Once job advanced(Mages/Archers/Assassins): It would probably be best to stick with snails for another level.
*Level 11-20: Henesys Hunting Ground I, Mushroom Garden, The Tree that Grew I, Southern Forest Tree Dungeon I (Slime tree dungeon), Pig Beach (Level 17+)
*Level 21-30: Party Quest (Level 25+), Pig Beach, Forest of Wisdom, Horny/Green Mushroom Tree Dungeons (Mages), Blue Mushroom Forest, Ant Tunnel(stages 1-5), Orbis Tower 20th Floor (Level 25+), Boars in the Perion district (Level 25+).
*Level 31-40: Ant Tunnel, Land of Wild Boar I/II, Cave of Evil Eyes (for warrior/mages), Burnt Land II, , Terrace Hall, Sky Terrace I, Hidden Tower(warriors), LVL 38+ ONLY [If you're at Victoria Island, go to Florina Beach and finish all of the Florina food quests]
*Level 41-50: Burnt Land II, Jr. Kitty Gardens, Orbis Tower 6/7 level (Leatties), Orbis Tower 3/4 level (Dark Leatties), Monkey Forest I, Dangerous Valley, Cloud Park IV, Zombie Lupin Tree Dungeons (Clerics only), B2 subway depot, B3 subway depot, Lorang*3 (Lightning wiz only), Sky Terrace IV, Hidden Tower (warriors, bandits and fire wizards only)
*Level 51-60: Zombie Lupin Tree Dungeons (Cleric and Bandit), Golem Temple Entrance, Sleepy Dungeon IV, Cloud Park VI, Watch Out For Icy Patch I(Jr. Yetis), Cold Field I(Hectors), Forest of Dead Trees(Zombies, but usually crowded), Florina Beach (Lightning Wizards and Bandits)
*Level 61-70: Drake's Meal Table (Warriors and Bandits), Cargo's Area, Forest of Dead Trees, Cold Field I, Wolf Territory II (Wizards only), The Crown Flyer (Thieves and Fire wizards), Warped Path of Time I
*Level 71-80: Forest of Dead Trees, Sanctuary Entrance II, Icy Valley I, Wolf Territory V, Cave of Trial II, Garden of Darkness, Warped Path of Time II (Ice Mage), Forgotten Path of Time I (Fire Mage, Priests)
*Level 81-90: Icy Valley II, Dangerous Cliff, Cave of Trial II, Garden of Darkness, Sanctuary entrance IV, Unbalanced Time
*Level 90+: Icy Valley II, Cave of Trial III, Unbalanced Time, Twisted Time, Lost Time, Forbidden Time (Priests)
*Level 100+: Forgotten Passage, Warped Passage, Zakum-->

;Note: It is advised that the player only hunts monsters that they can effectively kill in up to 4 hits tops. It is highly suggested that a player seeks the best exp giving monster he/she can one or two hit ko. This is because a player can train more effectively by killing monsters in this way rather than trying to kill stronger monsters that take more then four hits.
In most cases you should only hunt monsters that you can kill within 1-2 hits. It is highly suggested that a player seeks the best exp giving monster he/she can one or two hit KO. A player can acquire more EXP in a short amount of time from numerous lower level enemies than one giant enemy. For example, you may be able to kill a monster in one hit that gives you 1/4 the experience of a monster that takes 16 hits. In the time it takes to kill four of the small monsters, you would have acquired as much experience as damaging the larger monster to 1/4 of its health. To maximize your experience gain and minimize the amount of time you have to spend killing monsters, you should pay attention to how much experience you gain from each enemy, and how long (how many hits) it takes to kill them. With each patch since Chaos, the standard for classes has been to give each one, even at first job, an attack that can hit multiple enemies. This has drastically sped up the leveling process.

::A thought on this; Higher leveled characters (80-90+) may train better at monsters which require more hits, such as Death Teddies and Spirit Vikings, just for the high amount of EXP they give compared to other alternatives. --[[User:EMP Demon|EMP Demon]]
'''Note:''' Level ranges are just a reference and need not be strictly followed.

;Note: Spawn rate depends on how many people are on any given map. The more people on a map the higher the spawn rate becomes, termed spawn acceleration. By the same token the opposite is true: the less people on the map the worse the spawn rate becomes. It is advised that players seek like leveled people to party with given that parties of 4+ affect spawn rate and that each player gains exp from everyones else kill with a ten percent bonus to exp.
*Newer Accounts refer to usually the first few characters. Suggested paths will also tailor towards obtaining upgrade items while levelling up as they may not have sufficient resources to not rely on system handouts.
*Subsequent characters refer to the other characters after the first few characters, as these characters tend to be way stronger before 4th job with the help of Fairy Blessing, Link Skills and Maple Legion.

::Actually, a map has a set amount of monsters (which MAY vary with the amount of players present, as the Lycanthropes in Wolf Territory V suggests), and at every respawn time the amount of monsters respawned equals to the amount of monster killed (Fairies, Boogies and bosses seem to be spawning in a different pattern). The respawn time doesn't go any quicker with the amount of people there, though the monster amount MAY go up (by a tiny margin). The biggest advantage is you don't have to walk around so much, but that's not really helpful for some maps.
==First Job==
;Newer Accounts
*Level 10-20: Job Quests '''(compulsory for Eunwol, Kinesis, Cadena, Illium and Ark)''' or Golems in Henesys
*Level 20-30: Job Quests '''(compulsory for Eunwol, Kinesis, Cadena, Illium and Ark)''' or Curse/Evil Eyes in Ellinia

;Subsequent Characters
===Lvl 1 to 30===
*Level 10-30: Job Quests '''(compulsory for Eunwol, Kinesis, Cadena, Illium and Ark)''' or Curse/Evil Eyes in Ellinia
====Henesys Hunting Ground====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Henesys Hunting Ground|=
|Blue Snail (Lv 2, 15HP, 4xp, floor 1, 2*)
Red Snail (Lv 4, 45HP, 8xp, floor 1, 3*)
Shroom (Lv 2, 20HP, 5xp, floor 1)
Slime (Lv 5, 50HP, 10xp, floor 2, weak to lit)
Stump* (Lv 5, 65HP, 8xp, floor 3, 4, weak to fire)
Orange Mushroom (Lv 8, 80HP, 15xp, floor 3)
Green Mushroom (Lv 15, 250HP, 26xp, floor 4)
|Pan Lid, Zeco, 100% Cape scroll for DEX.
|All classes from level 10 to 30, better for ranged classes.
|Monsters spawn very quickly
Efficient for all classes
Highly categorized, with different monsters at different floors and levels.
|Lots of people in virtually every channel
Massive lag
Massive kill stealing
|Pick your floor, and kill away. The monsters spawn like no tomorrow. Great place to train, but get ready to get KSed a lot, unless you are a mage or rogue with claw, then be prepared to ks and get defamed. Divided into four floors. Pick the floor you can kill easiest.
*Alternatively, players go to the second or third hunting ground if you don't want to be KS'ed, which are hidden streets at the very tops of the hunting grounds. They are accessed by climbing the rope that is seen hanging down from the sky at the top of each hunting ground. However, the spawn rate isn't as high since there are less players. Still, 3rd job show offs sometimes ruin your day.
}}

====Mushroom Garden====
==Second Job==
{{MapleStory/Training location|Mushroom Garden|=
;Newer Accounts
|Shroom (Lv 2, 20HP, 5xp)
*Level 30-60: Ellinel Academy quests / Gold Beach quests / Riena Strait quests / Secret Forest Elodin quests
Red Snail (Lv 4, 45HP, 8xp)
Orange Mushroom (Lv 8, 80HP, 15xp)
|None
|All Classes from lv 10 to 15.
|Not a lot of people
Decent spawn rate
|Lots of climbing around to do
|This place is great for people who wants an alternative to HHG or Slime Tree, since there's less people here. However, the place is slower than HHG or slimes.
}}
====The Tree that Grew I====
{{MapleStory/Training location|The Tree that Grew I|=
|Snail* (Lv 1, 8HP, 3xp)
Slimes (Lv 5, 50HP, 10xp, weak to hit)
|100% Cape scroll for DEX
|All Classes from level 10-20.
|Slimes are the most HP-efficient monster around its level
Lots of spawn
Slimes drop decent NPC fodders
|Melee classes tends to get ksed a bit around here
|This place is PERFECT for ranged classes who have their range increasing skill maxed, and still remains excellent for most other classes. Slimes are one of the best monsters to train on at lower levels, yielding beautiful experience and money.
}}

====Pig Beach====
;Subsequent Characters (Non-Reboot)
{{MapleStory/Training location|Pig Beach|=
*Level 30-40: Ellinel Academy quests / Gold Beach quests (either one)
|Pig (Lv 8, 75HP, 15xp)
*Level 40-60: Copper Drakes in Sleepywood
Ribbon Pig (Lv 10, 120HP, 20xp)
Red Snail* (Lv 4, 45HP, 8xp)
Blue Snail* (Lv 2, 15HP, 4xp)
Iron Hog* (Lv 42, 2100HP, 99xp)
|100% Cape scroll for LUK, Dankke (instant 35k from NPC).
|All classes from level 18-25
|Pigs are basically slimes upgraded
One of the best-spawning maps in MS
|Ribbon Pigs HURT
Hard to find an unoccupied area.
KSing will be increasingly frequent with more players entering the area.
Iron Hog may show up at rare times, but will often remain there much longer than when it spawned, since players who train here usually can't kill it.
|Can be accessed through a fence in the 3-way Road Split. The pigs here spawn like no tomorrow, and they are very good experience and money. However, the occasional Iron Hog is very annoying to low-level players but it respawns every 1 - 2 hours, and high level players come here a lot to train their low-level friends. Expect lots of KSing and an Iron Hog at any moment.
Many people come to Pig Beach to get Pig Heads and Leathers for quests. Keep all of your Pig Heads, Leathers, Stiff Feathers, and Ribbons — you will need many of them in future quests.
}}

====Kerning Party Quest====
;Subsequent Characters (Reboot)
{{MapleStory/Training location|Kerning Party Quest|=
*Level 30-50: Ellinel Academy quests / Gold Beach quests
|Complete guide and monster listing can be found [[MapleStory/Quests/Party Quests#Kerning City Party Quest (1st Accompaniment)|here]]
*Level 50-60: Wild Boar Areas in Perion
|Coupons and Passes? (Cannot be taken out of the PQ)After finishing PQ, you will get some sort of item reward, scrolls, potions, or etc.
|Level 25+ Magicians/Assassins, level 28+ all other classes
|Good profit
FUN! This ain't your average grinding!
|LONG waiting cycle
Party members can be annoying/stupid.
|Pure bore-breaker. The waiting cycle prevents it from being a good training place. Still, one of the more fun things to do in MS. Just beware of idiots.
}}

====Forest of Wisdom====
==Third Job==
{{MapleStory/Training location|Forest of Wisdom|=
;Newer Accounts
|Green Mushroom (Lv 15, 250HP, 26xp)
*Level 60-71: Ellinel Academy quests / Gold Beach quests / Riena Strait quests / Secret Forest Elodin quests
Slime (Lv 5, 50HP, 10xp, weak to lit)
*Level 71-75: Drakes in Sleepywood
|Pan Lid, Zeco, 100% Cape scroll for DEX
*Level 75-85: White Fangs in El Nath
|All classes from level 20-30
*Level 85-95: Sand Rats and Scorpions in Magatia
|Decent spawn
*Level 95-100: Roids in Magatia or Rashes in Leafre
Fairly profitable
|Green Mushrooms hurt a bit
Teleporters are fairly confusing at first
|Never really considered the best training place in the world. The Green Mushrooms provide good experience while Slimes provide some profit. Beware of Pan Lid hunters who will most likely KS you.
}}

====Tree Dungeon, Southern Forest IV====
;Subsequent Characters (Non-Reboot)
{{MapleStory/Training location|Tree Dungeon, Southern Forest IV|=
*Level 60-70: Drakes in Sleepywood
|Green Mushroom (Lv 15, 250HP, 26xp)
*Level 70-80: Sand Rats and Scorpions in Magatia or Roids in Magatia
Horned Mushroom (Lv 22, 300HP, 35xp)
*Level 80-100: Rashes in Leafre or Harps in Leafre (5 Star Force)
Slime* (Lv 5, 50HP, 10xp, weak to lit)
Blue Mushroom* (Lv 20, 350HP, 32xp)
|Pan Lid, Zeco, 60% 2h sword scroll for att.
|All classes level 25+
|Great spawn of Horned Mushroom
Decent profit
|Horned Mushrooms have high weapon def
Doesn't drop a lot of good things
Magicians tend to ks a lot of other people here
|Great place for Magicians to train and decent enough for other classes as well. If you're not a Magician however, Horned Mushrooms can be a pain to kill, especially with all those mages KSing you.
}}
====Tree Dungeon, Northern Forest II====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Tree Dungeon, Northern Forest II|=
|Green Mushroom (Lv 15, 250HP, 26xp)
Horned Mushroom (Lv 22, 300HP, 35xp)
Slime* (Lv 5, 50HP, 10xp, weak to lit)
|Pan Lid, Zeco, 60% 2h sword scroll for att.
|All classes level 25+
|Good mix of both mushrooms
Decent profit
Less Magicians and overall, less people here
|Horned Mushrooms have high weapon def
Doesn't drop a lot of good things
Magicians tend to ks a lot of other people here
|Magicians will find Tree Dungeon, Southern Forest IV much better than here, but other classes might fare better here. Other than that, this place is not much different.
}}
====Ant Tunnel I====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Ant Tunnel I|=
|Horned Mushroom (Lv 22, 300HP, 35xp)
Zombie Mushroom (Lv 24, 500HP, 42xp, undead, weak to holy)
|60% 2h sword scroll for att, Zeco, Nakamaki, Blue Counter.
|All classes level 28+, Magicians 25+
|Great experience
Great spawn
|Lots of people, lots of KSing
Not very profitable in general
|Great place for more advanced people to kill in, since Zombie Mushrooms are very exp-efficient, and you can find a large number of them here. The horned mushrooms are also around and not hard to kill either, but you won't be earning a lot of money here.
}}

====Orbis Tower (18-20th floor)====
;Subsequent Characters (Reboot)
{{MapleStory/Training location|Orbis Tower (18-20th floor)|=
*Level 60-75: Drakes in Sleepywood
|Jr Sentinel (Lv 23, 600HP, 40xp)
*Level 75-85: Stairway to the Sky 1 in Orbis
|None
*Level 85-100: Sand Rats and Scorpions in Magatia or Roids in Magatia
|All classes 28+, Warriors and magicians 25+
|Jr Sentinel does does 30 damage to people level 15-20(less than a green mushroom)!
Jr Sentinel drops A LOT of money (60-90)
|High defence, high speed makes them a pain to kill
Not very exp-efficient
|Great for Magicians who can kill them in 2 hit consistently and Warriors who take 1 damage from it consistently. You'll be earning a lot of profit here, since Jr Sentinel's meso drop is comparable to that of Fire Boars. However, you won't be training very fast around here, so take heed.
}}

====Land of Wild Boar II====
==Fourth Job==
{{MapleStory/Training location|Land of Wild Boar II|=
;Lower Funding Characters
|Wild Boar (Lv 24, 550HP, 42xp)
*Level 100-110: Dimension Library quests or Rashes in Leafre
Dark Axe Stump* (Lv 22, 550HP, 38xp)
*Level 110-120: Lion King Castle quests or Robo in Ludibrium
Axe Stump* (Lv 17, 300HP, 30xp)
*Level 120-125: Fantasy Theme Park quests or Robo in Ludibrium
Dark Stump* (Lv 10, 250HP, 18xp)
*Level 125-130: Korean Folk Town quests or Moon Bunnies in Korean Folk Town or Ghost Park
|Sabretooth, Eagle Crow, Ryden
*Level 130-140: Golden Temple quests or King Goblins in Korean Folk Town or Pot in Herb Town or Ghost Park
|All classes level 30+
*Level 140-145: King Goblins in Korean Folk Town or Pot in Herb Town or Ghost Park or Memory Monk in Time Temple
|Lots of boars running around
*Level 145-150: Kerning Tower quests or monsters in Kerning Tower
Boars are THE best monster to kill at level 30s
*Level 150-165: Stone Colossius quests or Mantis in Stone Colossius
Very profitable
*Level 165-170: Omega Sector quests and monsters
Decent experience
*Level 170-175: Kritias quests or monsters in Kritias or Omega Sector
|Spawn rate is inferior to that of Land of Wild Boar I
*Level 175-180: Detective Rave quests or monsters in Kritias
Hackers thrive in this area.
*Level 180-185: Monsters in Kritias
|Like I said, Boars are THE best monster to train on at 30s. Great profit, great experience, what more can you ask for? This place is for people who do not want to deal with the pain that is Jr Boogie. The price is that you will train slower, since the spawn rate here is inferior to that of Land of Wild Boar I.
*Level 185-190: Fox Valley quests and monsters
}}
*Level 190-200: Twilight Perion or Fox Valley monsters
====Land of a Wild Boar====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Land of Wild Boar|=
|Wild Boar (Lv 24, 550HP, 42xp)
Dark Axe Stump (Lv 22, 550HP, 38xp)
Jr Boogie* (Lv 35, 1750HP, 150xp)
|Sabretooth, Eagle Crow, Ryden
|All Classes level 30+, though 35+ is more perferable
|SO MANY BOARS...
Great spawn rate
Good profit and experience
|Lots of people and KSing, mostly around Scania though
Jr Boogies are VERY annoying
|Once you feel like you can deal with Jr Boogies efficiently, this place is THE place to train on boars. So many of them are running around it's not even funny. Great experience, great profit, just take note that lots of other people are here as well.
*Buying sniper potions or using items that increase your accuracy is an alternative to fighting the Jr. Boogie.
}}
*However, another alternative is not fighting them at all, at the top of the map are two rocks that, when destroyed, will make the jr.boogies disappear

====Cave of Evil Eyes I-IV====
;Higher Funding Characters (Non-Reboot)
{{MapleStory/Training location|Cave of Evil Eyes I-IV|=
*Level 100-110: Harps in Leafre (5 Star Force) or Kentarus in Leafre (15 Star Force)
|Evil Eye (Lv 25, 720HP, 50xp)
*Level 110-130: Thanatos in Ludibrium (28 Star Force)
Jr Boogie (Lv 35, 1750HP, 150xp)
*Level 130-140: Bains in El Nath (50 Star Force) or Dark Wyvern in Leafre (65 Star Force)
|None
*Level 140-150: Diabolic Zombie in Shanghai
|Level 33+ Magicians, Level 40+ Bandits, Level 35+ Warriors
*Level 150-165: Star Force maps in Kerning Tower (80 Star Force)
|Lots of evil eyes around
*Level 165-180: New Gray White/Black in Omega Sector (140 Star Force)
Slash Blast heaven
*Level 180-190: Ancient Mixed Golems or Transformed Stone Mask in Twilight Perion
Great for melee class
*Level 190-200: Haven or Corrupted World Tree monsters
Melee Class don't have to worry much about ksers
|Bad for ranged classes, especially Archers
Evil Eyes drop crap
Not very profitable
Jr Boogies can be a pain
|A good place for level 40+ bandits to train on. Evil Eyes are not the most profitable monster in the world, but in the caves you don't have to worry much about ksers since ranged classes perform badly in here. Decent alternative to Jr Kitties and the like. Warriors and other mobbing classes may have an easier time since lots of giant mobs build up.
}}

===Lvls 30+===
;Higher Funding Characters (Reboot)
====Sky Terrace I====
*Level 100-120: Harps in Leafre (5 Star Force)
{{MapleStory/Training location|Sky Terrace I|=
*Level 120-140: Thanatos in Ludibrium (28 Star Force)
|Brown Teddy (Lv 30, 950HP, 60xp)
*Level 140-155: Bains in El Nath (50 Star Force) or Dark Wyvern in Leafre (65 Star Force)
Pink Teddy (Lv 32, 1050HP, 65xp)
*Level 155-175: Star Force maps in Kerning Tower (80 Star Force)
|Golden Pride, Nakamaki, Umber Shouldermail
*Level 175-190: New Gray White/Black in Omega Sector (140 Star Force)
|All classes level 40+, though assassins better than others
*Level 190-200: Ancient Mixed Golems or Transformed Stone Mask in Twilight Perion
|Teddys give similar experience as the alternative Fire Boar, but don't hurt as much
Great spawn rate
|Terrain is kinda bad, lots of jumping is needed (annoying for melee classes like Warriors or Bandits)
Brown Teddy doesn't drop a lot of mesos
|A good place to train in, especially for Assassins and Mages. Nothing much else to say otherwise.
}}

====The Road to Garden with 3 colours====
==Fifth Job==
{{MapleStory/Training location|The Road to Garden with 3 colours|=
;Lower Funding Characters
|Jr Celion (Lv 33, 1100HP, 65xp, weak to ice)
*Level 200-210: Monsters in Haven or Corrupted World Tree. Build up on Arcane Force and damage while doing so.
Jr Lioner (Lv 33, 1100HP, 65xp, weak to ice)
*Level 210-220: Monsters in Road to Extinction. Build up on Arcane Force and damage while doing so.
Jr Grupin (Lv 33, 1100HP, 65xp, weak to fire)
*Level 220+: Arcane River monsters
|60% claw scroll for att., 60% wand scroll for magic, Kumbi
|All physical classes level 40+
|Good profit
Decent experience
Kitties have some good drops
|Lots of climbing is needed, which is annoying
They're too cute to kill! (Just kidding)
|An absolutely great place to train in at your early 40s. The kitties don't do much damage, and they drop great money as well as a few scrolls that can net you a few hundred thousand mesos in one go. The spawn rate is also quite good.
}}
====Garden of Red/Green/Yellow====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Garden of Red/Green/Yellow|=
|Jr Celion (Lv 33, 1100HP, 65xp, weak to ice, red)
Jr Lioner (Lv 33, 1100HP, 65xp, weak to ice, yellow)
Jr Grupin (Lv 33, 1100HP, 65xp, weak to fire, green)
|60% claw scroll for att. (red)
60% bow scroll for att. (yellow)
60% wand scroll for att. (green)
|All classes level 40+, save elemental wizards on a kitty
opposite to their element (eg. Ice Wizard in Jr Grupins)
|Good profit
Decent experience
Kitties have some good drops
|Lots of climbing is needed, which is annoying
They're too cute to kill! (Just kidding)
|You can pick a colour of kitties you like to kill. The red ones drop claw scroll, blue ones drop wand scroll, and yellow one drops bow scrolls. Nothing much different from The Road to Garden of 3 colours other- wise.
}}
====Orbis Tower 3rd floor====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Orbis Tower 3rd floor|=
|Dark Leatty (Lv 33, 1100HP, 65xp, weak to holy)
|Pretty much none.
|All physical classes level 40+.
|For some reasons, this place is faster than kitties
Dark Leatties have worse accuracy
|Less money
Can't use return scroll, must walk back to El Nath
Climbing is annoying
Dark Leatties do more damage than Kitties
|Eh, works well as a bore-breaker for Kitties I guess. The profit sucks, but you're training at the same rate or faster than kitties at least.
}}
====Dangerous Valley====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Dangerous Valley|=
|Fire Boar (Lv 32, 1000HP, 60xp, weak to ice)
Copper Drakes (Lv 45, 2700HP, 105xp)
|Dark Shadow Pants, Arwen's Glass Shoe.
|Warriors, Thieves, Ice Wizards level 43+. Bowmen doesn't do
as well here.
|Pretty good spawn
Decent profit
Decent experience
|Drops are kinda crappy
|A pretty good place for people who're bored of 1HKOing their preys. This place is pretty fast experience, and the money is decent. Not much to say otherwise.
}}
====Cloud Park IV====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Cloud Park IV|=
|Lunar Pixie (Lv 45, 2500HP, 105xp)
Star Pixie (Lv 35, 1200HP, 72xp)
|Pan Lid, 10% shoe scroll for jump, 100% cape scroll for STR.
|All physical classes level 45+.
|Better spawn than Dangerous Valley
Drops are arguably better
Leftover can be exchanged
|Pixie's magic attack can hurt
Much more spread out than Dangerous Valley
Tends to be a bit slower
|An alternative to Dangerous Valley. Lunar Pixies have better drops than Copper Drakes, but they also do more damage since they can use magic.
}}
====Hidden Tower====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Hidden Tower|=
|Block Golem (Lv 42, 2400HP, 102xp, weak to fire)
King Block Golem (Lv 45, 2600HP, 110xp)
Rombot* (Lv 47, 11000HP, 720xp, Boss, Spawns every 30 min)
|Red Whip, Pansy Earrings, 60% Shield scroll for def.
|Warriors and Fire Wizards level 42+, Bandits level 50+
|Pretty good drops
Good experience
Less worries about ranged ksers
|Can be tough on your HP
Not easy to refill potions
Occasional Rombot hunters can complicate things up
|What can I say, this is basically an upgrade to Evil Eye Caves with MUCH better drops. You can effectively stay at this place until level 60 if you're a warrior. The occasional Rombots can prove to be fun too. This place is hell though if you're an archer.
}}
====Sky Terrace IV====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Sky Terrace IV|=
|Pink Teddy (Lv 33, 1050HP, 65xp)
Roloduck (Lv 34, 1200HP, 70xp)
|Dark Shadow, Dark Pilfer, Nakamaki
|Assassins and Warriors level 45+
|Pretty good money
Decent experience
|Terrain is terrible
Drops are not exactly exceptional
|Great place to train in if you deem profit more experience than fast training. However, the terrain is absolutely horrible. Sky Terrace III has much better terrains if you're an archer.
}}
====Monkey Forest I====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Monkey Forest I|=
|Lupin (Lv 37, 1500HP, 77xp)
Zombie Lupin (Lv 40, 1800HP, 90xp, weak to holy, undead)
|Kumbi, Silver Crow, Lionheart, Shinkita, Dark Pilfer
|Assassins and Archers level 45+, Warriors and Bandits level
50+
|Lots of monkeys running around
Not bad money
Good terrain
|Their attack hurts
|Pretty bad training spot, but it's good for bore-breaking once in a while. Lupins hurt too much for this place to be a good spot for money.
}}

====Lorang Lorang Lorang====
;Higher Funding Characters
{{MapleStory/Training location|Lorang Lorang Lorang|=
*Level 200+: Arcane River monsters
|Lorangs (Lv 37, 1950HP, 80xp, weak to lit)
|60% scroll for dagger for att., Korean Fan.
|Lightning Wizards level 40+, Warriors level 50+, Bandits who
can 1HKO them.
|Small Map, HUGE quantity of lorangs.
VERY fast experience
|Bad money
Terrain isn't very good
|Lightning Wizard's heaven. Warriors can try killing here too after level 50+. Good experience, bad money, not much to say otherwise. Bandits can also kill here if they can 1HKO them consistently, sucks for most classes otherwise except that the drops are all bandit friendly. Lightning wizards can grind here till zombies (or move to clangs at lvl 50).

====Tree Dungeon, Monkey Forest II====
{{Footer Nav|game=MapleStory|prevpage=Formulas|nextpage=Mini Dungeons}}
{{MapleStory/Training location|Tree Dungeon, Monkey Forest II|=
|Zombie Lupin (Lv 40, 1800HP, 90xp, weak to holy, undead)
Curse Eye (Lv 34, 1250HP, 70xp)
|Silver Crow, Lionheart, Blackbull's deed to the land, Shinkita
|Level 40+ clerics and lightning wizards, level 45+ Bandits
|Lots of ZLupins jumping around
|Their drops are rapidly deteriorating in price
Bad Terrain
Zlupin hurts
|This map is getting worse by the day, as Zombie Lupins' drops rapidly drop in price. Still, it's a good alternative for Clerics, and alternatives are hard to come by for them.
}}

====The Path of Time I====
{{MapleStory/Training location|The Path of Time I|=
|Platoon Chrono (Lv 41, 2100HP, 99xp, undead)
|Esther Shield, 60% glove scroll for attack.
|Clerics 40+, Other magicians 45+, Other classes level 50+.
|Good drops
Good money
|Not exactly the fastest experience unless you're a cleric
or a Bandit
Chrono's magic attack hurts a lot if you're not a mage
|Platoon Chronos have some of the best drops in their level range, and pretty good money. Unfortunately, this has also attracted a large number of people training on them. Still, a good alternative to just about any class once you're on the right level. Watch out for their magic, because it hurts.
}}
====Practice Field: Beginner====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Practice Field: Beginner|=
|Straw Training Dummy (Lv 48, 3000HP, 135xp)
|Scroll for Crossbow atk 10%
|All classes from 45 to around 60
|Good experience and money, small map with high spawn rate
|Bad drops, every channel is al least occupied by one person making it literally impossible to have one map to yourself.
|This place is a great training spot for maplers who can 1-3 hit KO these guys and also great for mobbing. However if you're training in these maps, expect yourself to be ksed often since a lot of people tend to train here.}}
====Watch Out for Icy Path I====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Watch Out for Icy Path I|=
|Jr Yeti (Lv 50, 3700HP, 135xp, weak to fire)
Jr Yeti Transformed* (Lv 65, 11000HP, 390xp, weak to fire)
|60% glove scroll for attack
|Physical class + fire wizard level 50+
|Pretty good experience
Decent money
Jr Yeti is the strongest monster with KB damage of 1
|They transform every once in a while
Transformed yetis can be quite hard to deal with
Tends to be really boring
|A grand training place for most 50+ peoples. The money is all right, the drops are crappy unless it's 60% glove scroll for attack. Still, nice experience rate, since there are a lot of them running around.
}}
====Golem Temple Entrance====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Golem Temple Entrance|=
|Stone Golem (Lv 55, 4000HP, 170xp)
Blue Mushroom (Lv 20, 350HP, 32xp)
Fierry* (Lv 30, 800HP, 120xp)
|60% bow scroll for attack, Dark Shadow
|Ranged Classes level 45+, Bandits and Assassins level 50+
|Small Map, decent spawn
Blue Mushrooms provide cheap healing for assassins
Golems are slow
|Not really good drops
Spawn could've been better
Blue Mushrooms can prove to be annoying
|Small Map, OK spawn. Climbing around is annoying, and the drops could've been better. Good as a bore-breaker, not really good as a primary training spot.
}}

====Cloud Park VI====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Cloud Park VI|=
|Lunar Pixie (Lv 45, 2500HP, 105xp)
Luster Pixie (Lv 52, 4000HP, 155xp)
Fierry* (Lv 30, 800HP, 120xp)
|Aqua Golden Circlet
|Ranged Classes level 50+, Melee Class level 60+, No mages
|Good money, decent experience
Their physical don't hurt too much
Luster pixies has low defense
Sun pieces has the best scroll in the exchange quest
|Magic Attack can hurt
Bad idea for magicians to come here
Drops are crappy
|Great spawn, good money, decent experience. Still, you will be getting rich gradually, not in a jump, since they have crappy drops. It's still a rather nice spot to train in though.
}}
====Forest of Dead Trees (I-IV)====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Forest of Dead Trees (I-IV)|=
|Coolie Zombie (Lv 58, 4500HP, 190xp, weak to holy, undead)
|5 INT seraphis, Cromi, 6 DEX linnex
|Pretty much all non-wizard classes level 60+, 55+ for archer
65+ Wizards, Perfect spot for Clerics
|Excellent experience all the way to level 78+
Good money
|Zombie's poison is annoying
Practically everyone in the world is training here
Crappy drops (though, they were mostly dragged to the level
of crappiness by the sheer amount of people training here.)

You won't be soloing here as much anymore thanks to the changed maps.
|Great as a training spot... But good luck finding a free channel here. In the words of someone whom I have forgotten his name, "This place will always be full be it after school, in the midnight, in the weekend or perhaps even after an Apocalypse". So yeah... Assassins might find it annoying to having to charge stars every once in a while, because I guarantee that, unless you play in Windia/Khaini, there will be someone who's in your channel by the time you're back.
}}

====Forest Of Golems====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Forest Of Golems|=
|Dark Stone Golem (Lv 58, 4800HP, 200xp)
Mixed Stone Golem (Lv 59, 6000HP, 210xp)
|60% Glove scroll for ATT, Tobi's, Evil Wing, Evil Tale, Dark ID
|Physical/Mobbing classes level 60+ Bandits 55+
|Spawn is amazing, very fast exp.
They deal a moderate amount of damage.
An ok amount of money, but very fast experience
|Most drops are bad (blood snowboards), but the occasional 60% Glove Att scroll is good
|Even better than zombies if you're a physical class with a good mobbing skill.
Lots of people are here, but here, it's a good thing since you need other people
on other platforms to start the massive spawns.
Drops are bad, but experience is amazing.
Spawn is better than Pig Beach/Zombies.
This place is heaven for 55+ Bandits who can 2HKO the golems semi-consistently!
}}

====Cold Field I====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Cold Field I|=
|Hector (Lv 55, 4600HP, 170xp)
White Pang* (Lv 60, 6000HP, 220xp, weak to fire)
|60% Cape scroll for DEX, Bronze Platine set.
|Physical classes level 60+
|Lots of Hectors running around
They don't deal too much damage for its level
Not bad money, decent experience
|Drops are mostly crappy
|Yeah, a decent alternative to Zombies. The good thing is that there's not a lot of people here (if you don't play in Scania, that is) so you will find peace here. Drops are better, but experience are worse.
}}
====Drake's Meal Table====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Drake's Meal Table|=
|Cold Eye (Lv 40, 2000HP, 80xp, weak to fire)
Drake (Lv 50, 3200HP, 135xp)
Wild Cargo (Lv 62, 6000HP, 240xp)
Bob the Snail*
|Olympus, Tobi, Icicle, Bob's Snail Shell
|Warriors and Bandits level 55, Lightning wizard and cleric
party level 50+
|LOTS of spawn
Excellent money
Decent drops, decent experience
Lots of gold
No worries about ksing assassins, magicians, or archers
|The maps are mostly hacked in Scania so now they suck
You will need lots of potions
|Yeah, great place to train if you don't play in Scania. This map is the favourite place for vac hackers, and now chances are, the maps in Scania are vacced and the monsters are few. For other servers, great place for Bandits and Warriors to train, and good place for fun for a lightning wizard + cleric party. And no, I don't know what is that snail doing there either.
}}

====Cargo's Area====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Cargo's Area|=
|Cold Eye (Lv 40, 2000HP, 80xp, weak to fire)
Wild Cargo (Lv 62, 6000HP, 240xp)
|Olympus, Tobi, Icicle
|Physical classes level 60+
|Pretty decent in every aspect
Lots of Cold eyes running around
|Not very fast experience
|Back in BETA, this was the favorite places for level 60s to train in. Ever since the new maps came out however, this map became kinda bad. Still, decent bore-breaker.
}}
====The Crown Flyer====
{{MapleStory/Training location|The Crown Flyer|=
|Pepe (Lv 62, 7000HP, 220xp, weak to fire)
Jr Yeti (Lv 50, 3700HP, 135xp, weak to fire)
Jr Yeti Transformed* (Lv 65, 11000HP, 390xp, weak to fire)
|Inifnity circlets, 60% glove scroll for att., Identities.
|Fire Wizards and thieves level 60+
|Pepes deal low damage
|Pepes are stupidly fast
|Pure bore-breaker for thieves, but a very good spot for higher leveled fire wizards (especially those who can 2HKO them consistently this is great place).
}}
====Wolf Territory V====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Wolf Territory V|=
|White Pang (Lv 60, 6000HP, 220xp, weak to fire)
|White/Black Anakamoon, Tobi
|Physical classes + Fire Wizard - Archers level 60+
|Good drop
Decent money
Not much worry about ksing
|bad experience
Climbing is annoying
Lycanthrope makes you burn pots.
|If you want to hunt for drops this is a good choice. White Pangs drop a lot of valuable stuff. However, the experience may be bad.
}}
====Icy Valley I====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Icy Valley I|=
|Jr Yeti (Lv 50, 3700HP, 135xp, weak to fire)
Jr Yeti Transformed (Lv 65, 11000HP, 390xp, weak to fire)
White Pang (Lv 60, 6000HP, 220xp, weak to fire)
|60% glove scroll for att.
|Assassins level 60+, Fire Wizard and White Knight level 70+
|Pretty good experience
Fairly empty maps, easy to find an empty channel
Spawn is decent enough
|Bad drops
|This place is most suitable for White Knights with Fire Charge present. Assassins can also gain good experience here in their 60s, but the money can be bad. Only hunt in the bottom three platforms, because any jetis/white pangs that spawn above the third platform will jump down by themselves.
}}

====Sharp Cliff II====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Sharp Cliff II|=
|Dark jr Yeti (Lv 56, 4400HP, 180xp, weak to holy)
Dark Jr Yeti Transformed (Lv 68, 13000HP, 445xp, weak to holy)
Dark Yeti (Lv 68, 13000HP, 265xp, weak to holy)
Dark Pepe (64, 7800HP, 250xp, weak to holy)
|Cyrstal Flower earrings, Asianic Bow, Green Scarab
|Assassins level 65+, Clerics level 60+
|Pretty good and diverse drops
Decent money
|Pretty bad spawn
Bad experience
|Mostly a bore-breaker for higher levels, but not a bad one. This place has a lot of good drops that await those who train on here, but the experience can be bad.
}}
===70 And Above===
====Red Nose Pirate Den II====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Red Nose Pirate Den II|=
|Kru (Lv 68, 12500HP, 265xp)
Captain (Lv 70, 15000HP, 282xp)
|Blue Scarab
|Any AoE attackers with a wide range.
|Great exp and great sniping spots preferably for AoE attackers.
|Bad drops, most channels are full.
|This place most suitable for Rangers and Snipers with Arrow Rain/Eruption since they can just stand on a sniping spot and attack, F/P Mages and I/L Mages are also good here too.}}
====Warped Path of Time II====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Warped Path of Time II|=
|Buffoon (Lv 74, 16000HP, 340exp, weak to ice)
Deep Buffon (Lv 77, 19000HP, 385xp, weak to ice)
|Crystal Flowerring, Golden Raven, Omega Spear
|Ice Mages level 65+, White Knights (ice) level 70+
|Decent spawn
Exceptional drops
|They hurt if they aren't frozen, and they're hard to dodge
Climbing can be annoying
|Seems like a good place for ice mages. They have very good drops (I just listed 3, they also drop stuff like Fire Raven), very good money. Yay for Ludibrium. Climbing can prove to be annoying though.
}}
====Cave of Trial II====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Cave of Trial II|=
|Cerebus (Lv 72, 15200HP, 295exp, weak to Poison)
Jr Cerebus (Lv 43, 2300HP, 102exp, weak to Poison)
Jr Effy (Lv 51, 3600HP, 142exp, weak to Ice)
|Dark Scarab, Dark Ritual, Marine Arund
|Mages (not Magicians), Assassins and Bandits level 75+
|Pretty good drops
|Bad experience
Jumping around is annoying, and the lava/poison geysers
doesn't help
|All in all, this map is more of a bore-breaker/drop hunting map. Cerebus does have some decent drops, but the training is pretty bad.
}}
====Stairway to the Sky II====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Stairway to the Sky II|=
|Lucida (Lv 73, 15500HP, 320exp, weak to Holy)
|Kandine, Bent Judgement
|Priests level 90+, Hermits, Chief Bandits and Ice Mages
level 80+
|Spawns are pretty concentrated
Decent Drops
Decent Experience
|Magic Attack can be annoying (though, it looks pretty)
|A better version of Cave of Tiral II once your level is right. Still, the fact that Lucida can shoot unavoidable magic attack means this map is pretty much only good for drop-hunting, never actually training.
}}

====Icy Valley II====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Icy Valley II|=
|Yeti & Pepe (Lv 78, 20000HP, 420+350exp*, weak to fire)
Yeti (Lv 65, 11000HP, 265exp, weak to fire)
Jr Yeti Transformed (Lv 65, 11000HP, 390exp, weak to fire)
White Pang (Lv 60, 6000HP, 220exp, weak to fire)
*You must fight Separated Pepe and Separated Yeti after you defeat Yeti and
Pepe. Separated Pepe gives 420exp and Separated Yeti gives 350.
|Deadly Fin, Steely, Doombringer
|Pretty much all jobs save Ice Mages and Priests level 80+.
|Good money, good drops
Decent experience, from what I've heard
Hermits get a BIG PLUS because you can recharge your stars
right on the map
|They can hurt a lot if your maneuvering isn't good
You have to take out the separated Yeti and Pepe as well
|Generally, This is a great place to hunt, kinda like a high level's Ant Tunnel (though, it's nowhere as crowded). Great experience, good money, good drops. Hermits also get a very large bonus for being able to recharge their stars right on the spot from that retreat guy.
}}
====Dangerous Cliff====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Dangerous Cliff|=
|Dark jr Yeti (Lv 56, 4400HP, 180xp, weak to holy)
Dark Jr Yeti Transformed (Lv 68, 13000HP, 445xp, weak to holy)
Dark Yeti (Lv 68, 13000HP, 265xp, weak to holy)
Dark Pepe and Yeti* (Lv 82, 29000HP, 715+700xp, weak to holy)
*You must fight Separated Dark Pepe and Separated Dark Yeti after you defeat
Dark Yeti and Pepe. Separated Dark Pepe gives 700exp and Separated Dark Yeti
gives 715exp.
|Gross Jaeger, Helios, Asianic Bow.
|Pretty much all jobs level 80+.
|Decent drops for a bore-breaker
Very good money per kill
|Crappy spawn
They can hurt a lot if your maneuvering isn't good
You have to take out the separated Yeti and Pepe as well
|Much worse than their non-dark counterpart, since the spawn is completely crappy compared to Icy Valley II. However, they can also be frozen and the fact that you won't get mobbed too often means that people with a rather low level (relatively, not like level 50 or something -_-") can do some drop-hunting here.
}}
====Unbalanced Time====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Unbalanced Time|=
|Dual Ghost Pirate (Lv 87, 35000HP, 1500EXP, weak to fire)
|Steely, Metal Heart Earrings, Dragon's Tail
|Thieves, Warriors and maybe Fire Mages level 82+
|Decent experience for 100+, Great for 82 - 100
Decent drops
|Money is not very good
Their magic attack is annoying
|The best thing you can say about this place is its terrains. While Warped Path of Time IV has MUCH better terrains, this place isn't very bad on this aspect. Warriors may also appreciate this place since their physical attack isn't that strong. Also, extremely close melee characters like Crusaders, Knights and Chief Bandits may not be hit by its magic attack at all because its range is similar to a torchlight. However, because of it, ranged characters such as the Bowman Class and Hermits may be better off at other monsters such as Death Teddies because of pot consumption. Of the two attack mages, the Ice/Lightning mage may want to go and kill Bains instead of Dual Ghost Pirates. Priests may also find Bains a better option since they give more experience.
}}

====Forgotten Path of Time III====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Forgotten Path of Time III|=
|Death Teddy (Lv 85, 32000HP, 1300exp, weak to fire, holy, Undead)
|Phoenix Wand, Dark Neli Shoes, 60% Scroll for Cape for INT.
|Priests, Hermits and maybe White Knights level 80+
|Avoidable magic attack
Experience income rate is all right
|Not very good drops
|While this map lacks sniping points, Death Teddy's magic attack is avoidable and is therefore more suitable than Dual Ghost Pirates. And the terrain is definitely more suitable for Hermits than Lost Time.
}}

====Lost Time====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Lost Time|=
|Master Death Teddy (Lv 89, 40000HP, 1720exp, weak to holy, Undead)
|60% Spear for Atk, Dark Galaxy
Sutiable For: Priests, Dragong Knights level 85+
|Concentrated spawn for Priests
|Nice EXP
Nice Mobs
|Even more crappy drops than Death Teddies
Horrible Terrains
|Never heard much about this place, but from what I can see, this is pretty much only good for a priest and his/her party members. Anyone without a Priest here will have a hard time maneuvering themselves (well, partying with a Priest doesn't make maneuvering easier, but at least you don't worry so much about it).
}}

====Cave of Trial III====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Cave of Trial III|=
|Bain (Lv 90, 45000HP, 1800exp, weak to ice)
Cerebus (Lv 72, 15200HP, 295exp, weak to Poison)
Jr Cerebus (Lv 43, 2300HP, 102exp, weak to Poison)
Jr Effy (Lv 51, 3600HP, 142exp, weak to Ice)
|Rose Earrings, Omega Spear
|All classes level 90+, except for Priests
|Decent experience, money, and spots
|The long walk is annoying
Ludibrium has better spots
|This place did not manage to sustain a lot of populations before Ludibrium came out, and therefore has the slightly neglected feeling of being a good place that is outdated by better spots. Bains do give acceptable experience, money and drops. In fact, the only thing that really count against it is the long walk you have to take.
}}
====Warped Path of IV====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Warped Path of IV|=
|Spirit Viking (Lv 93, 53000HP, 2100exp, weak to thunder)
|Ilbi, Devil's Sunrise, Marine Arund
|Archers and Hermits level 85+, WKs and I/L Mages level 90+
|The terrain is completely rigged against ranged characters
Pretty good drops (though, they're getting crappier by the moment
Pretty good money and experience
|Very crowded, at least for a high-level training spot.
|If "good terrain" in your mind means plenty of sniping spots, then you will not find better terrain anywhere else. There is one Sniping spot for every platform in the map except for the one on the right side of floor 2, or the bottom. Snipe away! This is also a good spot for WKs with Thunder Charge.
}}
====Forgotten Path of time IV====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Forgotten Path of time IV|=
|Phantom Watch (Lv 95, 53000HP, 2500exp, weak to fire, holy, undead)
|Dragon's Tail, 60% Two-Handed Sword, 60% Cape Luk, Red Sage, Redemption
|Priests and Fire Mages level 90+
|Decent money and exp for the mages
|Terrain isn't top notch
|While Phantom Watches are slightly worse than their Grim counterparts, they do drop better money. Though, their drops are arguably crappier.
}}

====Forbidden Time====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Forbidden Time|=
|Grim Phantom Watch (Lv 99, 60000HP, 2800exp, weak to fire, holy, undead)
|10% Atk for Claw
|Priests and Fire Mages level 90+
|Much more concentrated spawn than regular watches
Nice experience.
|Worse Money
The drops suck. Badly
|After the recent buff on Grims, finding a map shouldn't be that hard anymore (Since most are at Gobies or something)Nice place to come for a alternative to Gobies.
}}

====Twisted Time====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Twisted Time|=
|Gigantic Spirit Viking (Lv 97, 58000HP, 3200exp, weak to Thunder)
|Fraute, Angelic Betrayal (pretty name), Gold Arund
|WKs level 95+
|Better training Grounds for WKs
|Less Drops than Spirit Viking
|A great alternative to Spirit Vikings for WKs. They're not really that harder to kill (one more hit should do), and the map is nowhere as crowded as Spirit Vikings.
}}

====Deep Sea Gorge II====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Deep Sea Gorge II|=
|Goby (Level 80, 17000 HP, 1400 EXP)
Bone Fish (Level 92 42,500, 2000 EXP)
Goby House (Level 90, 40,500 HP, 0 EXP, Releases 6 Gobies)
|Rose Earrings, 60% Claw for Atk, 60% Overall for Int, 60% Overall Dex,
|I/L, Priest, DK, Rangers/Snipers CB 85+
|VERY good EXP, even at 120+ Equal to faster than Grims, thanks to the 6 Gobies
Nice Spawn

Pretty nice drops

Pretty good money
|The Bone Fish can be annoying.

Not a lot of breathing spots.

This sometimes eats your pots.

This place is becoming full. And if you enter a channel and someone's gobies follow you, then... >_>
Gobies swim fast and follow you. <_<;
|Gobies are great to train on. The drops/money can be very good if your lucky. And the EXP is faster than that of Grim Phantom Watches. But don't expect to find some breathing spots. And don't forget the Gobies. They follow you. And also the bone fish.
}}

====Dangerous Sea Gorge II====
{{MapleStory/Training location|Dangerous Sea Gorge II|=
|Risell Squid (Level 97, 49,000 HP, 2500 EXP)
Black Squid (Level 94 46,000 , 2200 EXP)
|Rose Earrings, 60% Glove for Atk, 60% Glove for Dex, 60% Shoe for Dex
|I/L Mages, Priest, F/P Mages, Rangers/Snipers, Hermits CB 85+
|Good EXP (Only a tiny bit worse than Grims)

Nice Drops

Good Money

Resting Spots for Priest/Less Pot Wasting
|Gobies are still better.
|Squids are a nice Alternative for Hermits and other classes (If they don't want to Goby) The Money and EXP is good. And there are Sniping Spots/Resting Spots. Gobies are still nicer however.

For more details on a simple training location list, see MapleStory/Walkthrough.
For more details on Mini Dungeons, see MapleStory/Mini Dungeons.

The training locations listed below are for power leveling. Each section briefly describes the best places to kill large amounts of monsters to level the fastest for that level range.

Note: Level ranges are just a reference and need not be strictly followed.

 • Newer Accounts refer to usually the first few characters. Suggested paths will also tailor towards obtaining upgrade items while levelling up as they may not have sufficient resources to not rely on system handouts.
 • Subsequent characters refer to the other characters after the first few characters, as these characters tend to be way stronger before 4th job with the help of Fairy Blessing, Link Skills and Maple Legion.
