Revision as of 17:23, 19 February 2024
This short route connects Oreburgh City, Route 206 and Mount Coronet. After a short pass through Mount Coronet and Route 208, you will reach Hearthome City.
As you walk into the route in DP and in Platinum as you are walking into Mt Coronet, Dawn/Lucas will enter the route and tell you to pick a hand. It doesn't matter which hand you pick, as you will get both items anyway. One hand contains the Vs. Seeker, a key item that lets you re-challenge Trainers that you have already battled, and the other hand contains the Dowsing Machine, an app that lets you search for hidden items.
What to do now
The muddy hill at the bottom of the route leads to Oreburgh City, where you can stock up on supplies and heal. Before you go back up the muddy hill there are 2 Poké Balls in the north corners of the grass patch, one is hidden so you should try out your new Dowsing Machine. Once you get the items go back to the muddy hill and put your bike in 4th gear to go back up. To the northwest is a berry patch. There is a hidden Revive near the Honey tree. Head east and right after the muddy hill is a small passage way which you can take to run into Youngster Austin. Head up the stairs and go left to run into Hiker Kevin. There is hidden Rare Candy near Kevin. Go over the bridge to grab a Dire Hit in DP and a Revive in Platinum. Head back over the bridge and down the first stairs then past the next stairs to run into Battle Girl Helen. Go past Helen and down the stairs then over the ledge. To your right is Hiker Justin. Head east and between two air vents ln your left is a Super Potion. Continue east and you will run into Camper Anthony and Picnicker Lauren which is a potential double battle. Head back west to go into the massive Mt. Coronet for the first time.

Mt Coronet 1F1 first visit
When you first arrive at Mt. Coronet from Route 207 you won't be able to go too far since you need Surf, Rock Slide, and to progress the story further. There is a path to the south with two stairs and you will take the north stairs where in the rocks is a hidden Ether. Upon going up the stairs you will bump into a strange man who says he has plans to create a new world. Follow the path to the exit and you will be on Route 208.
