Twinleaf Town (フタバタウン, Futaba Taun, Futaba Town in original Japanese) is the town in which you and your rival reside and from which you begin your journey across the region of Sinnoh.

Twinleaf Town

Go down the stairs of your house. Walk outside and there you will see 4 houses. Your house is the bottom right. Your rival's house is the top left. The other two houses contain other, non-important families.

A Basic Beginning[edit]

Pokémon Diamond and Pearl[edit]

The game starts out with you watching a TV program called "Search for the Red Gyarados". After it is finished,go downstairs, your mom will speak to you and will tell you that Barry, your friend and soon to be rival, wants to talk to you about an emergency. Go to his house to see him. It's the house in the northwest of the town.

When you try to go inside Barry will come rushing out and tells you that hes going to the lake and that you should come to but says that if you are late he'll fine you $1M dollars. As he runs off, he comes back and says he forgot something and goes back inside. Go inside and go upstairs. He'll be at his PC, taking things out. He'll then run off again, saying he'll now fine you $10M if you don't get to the lake on time. Now, time to get going.

Pokémon Platinum[edit]

The game starts out with you watching a TV program called "Ask Prof. Rowan". After it is finished, walk at least one tile. Your friend (and later rival), Barry, will come inside, rowdy as usual. He'll take a look at your PC, and then run off.

When you go downstairs, your mom will speak to you and tell you what Barry wanted. Go to his house to see him. It's the house in the northwest of the town.

When you go inside his house, go upstairs. He'll be in his PC, taking things out. He'll then run off again, saying he'll put you into bankruptcy if you don't get to Route 201 on time. Now, time to go.

After returning from Lake Verity[edit]

Pokémon Diamond and Pearl[edit]

Their will be a cutscene with your mom saying that she is glad that you and Barry are unharmed. Then she mentions that the professor you met is Professor Rowan and that you should head to him in Sandgem Town to explain that you had no choice to use his pokémon. She will then give you running shoes which is faster than walking. You may realize that you still have the pokémon you pick up at Lake Verity and it's also healed. Now it's time to head to Sandgem Town via Route 201.

Items[edit]
