Twinleaf Town (フタバタウン, Futaba Taun, Futaba Town in original Japanese) is the town in which you and your rival reside and from which you begin your journey across the region of Sinnoh.
Twinleaf Town
Go down the stairs of your house. Walk outside and there you will see 4 houses. Your house is the bottom right. Your rival's house is the top left.
Check out a new special TV show called The Search For Red Gyarados in your room head downstairs and talk to your mom. She lets you know your rival stopped by. Go to house and find out what he wanted.
When you go to your rival's house he comes out saying that you and him have to get to Lake Verity quick.
He goes back inside and you have to follow him upstairs, then he will go back down and you have to go outside his house and go North.
After Lake Verity (1st Visit) After receiving your first Pokémon go back to Twinleaf Town and talk to your mom, she'll give you the Running Shoes. To use the shoes hold the B button while moving with the control pad.
After Receiving the PokéDex After getting the PokéDex talk to your mom again, she'll give you the Journal. The Journal records all your day to day happenings. Once your mom gives you the Journal your rival's mom pops in to give you the Parcel. The Parcel is a key item you must give to your rival in Jubilife City. You better get going.
Pokémon Platinum
