Hold Items are items held by Pokémon during battle to give them (or you) an advantage. Some Pokémon are holding items when you catch one or recieve one through a trade. Other items can be found throughout Sinnoh and given to your Pokémon. Please note that all berries can be held by Pokémon and will have an effect, but they will not be covered here.

Stat or Power Boosting Hold Items

Sea Incense boosts power of Water-Type moves by 10%
Rock Incense boosts power of Rock-Type moves by 10%
Rose Incense boosts power of Grass=Type moves by 10%
Mystic Water boosts power of Water-Type moves by 15%
Charcoal boosts power of Fire-Type moves by 15%
Magnet boosts power of Electric-Type moves by 15%
Blackglasses boosts power of Dark-Type moves by 15%
Poison Barb boosts power of Poison-Type moves by 15%
Black Belt boosts power of Fighting-Type moves by 15%
Nevermeltice boosts power of Ice-Type moves by 15%

Other Hold Items

Name Effect
EXP. Share Gives holder half of Exp. points recieved during battle, even if it didn't participate
Amulet Coin doubles File:Pokébuck.png recieved from battle if holder participated
Scope-Lense raises holder's crtical-hit ratio
Iron Ball Flying-Types and those with Levitate ability susceptible to Ground-Type moves
Razor Claw raises holder's critical-hit ratio
Smoke Ball allows holder to escape from any wild Pokémon encounter
Shell-Bell holder recovers 1/8 of the damage given to the opponent
