Name Level Type Location Strategy Recommended Supplies
DialgaPokemon 483Dialga.png 47 File:PkmnType Dragon.gif/File:PkmnType Steel.gif Found at the top of Mount Coronet, obtainable after boss of Team Galactic is defeated. Dialga is actually one of the easiest Legendary Pokémon to catch. It can be inflicted with every status condition except Poison. It can often be captured on the first turn by using a Quick Ball, but if it escapes then you should inflict it with a non-damaging status condition (Paralysis, Sleep) and bring its HP down to the red zone. Dusk Balls are helpful for those playing during the night, but the Dusk Balls will not receive the cave capture multiplier at other times during the day unlike most other Legendaries. Quick Balls, Timer Balls, Dusk Balls, Ultra Balls, Master Ball
PalkiaPokemon 484Palkia.png 47 File:PkmnType Dragon.gif/File:PkmnType Water.gif Top of Mount Coronet, obtainable after boss of Team Galactic is defeated. Palika is actually one of the easiest Legendary Pokémon to catch. It can be inflicted with every status condition. Quick Balls, Timer Balls, Dusk Balls, Master Ball
HeatranPokemon 485Heatran.png 70 File:PkmnType Fire.gif/File:PkmnType Steel.gif Inside of Stark Mountain (see this for details) See this again Ultra Balls, Timer Balls, Dusk Balls, Master Ball
RegigigasPokemon 486Regigigas.png 70 File:PkmnType Normal.gif Inside of Snowpoint Temple All status conditions will work on him. Use his Slow Start to your advantage (reduces Speed and Attack for the first five turns of battle). Use this time to inflict status problems and do damage (he's not very sturdy so don't hit him too hard). Once Slow Start wears away he's going to be tougher so switch in a good Ghost Type Pokémon as many of his attacks will not effect them Ultra Ballsx40/Dusk Ballsx40/Timer Ballsx20
GiratinaPokemon 487Giratina.png 70 File:PkmnType Ghost.gif/File:PkmnType Dragon.gif A random room in the Turnback Cave Giratina is a hard Legendary to catch, but with persistence you will catch it. Once you encounter it, do the down to red/status problem strategy. Note that False Swipe will not work so do not try it. Once you weaken him, use Dusk Balls, even if it feels like he is not giving in. He will eventually. Also, watch out for his move Shadow Force, not only because it's powerful but also because you can't catch it when it is not visible. Staraptor is a good Pokèmon to use, as very few of Giratina's attacks affect Staraptor. Dusk Ballsx70/Timer Ballsx30
CresseliaPokemon 488Cresselia.png 50 File:PkmnType Psychic.gif Same as Mesprit _ Same as Mesprit
MespritPokemon 481Mesprit.png 50 File:PkmnType Psychic.gif Randomly appears in different places as you switch between Routes or go in buildings _ Ultra Ballsx70/Quick Ballsx10 (if used at start of encounter)
UxiePokemon 480Uxie.png 50 File:PkmnType Psychic.gif inside cave in the middle of Lake Acuity One of the easiest Legendaries to catch. Go through normal capture routine, and throw 4x effective Dusk Balls for an easy capture! Should be caught in 10-15 turns. Dusk Ballsx30/Timer Ballsx15
AzelfPokemon 482Azelf.png 50 File:PkmnType Psychic.gif Inside cave in the middle of Lake Valor Same as Uxie's Same as Uxie's
DrifloonPokemon 425Drifloon.png Random File:PkmnType Ghost.gif/File:PkmnType Flying.gif Appears in front of the Valley Windworks building on Fridays It is not very difficult to catch one, as you might catch it with a Quick Ball if you throw one on your first turn. It is also immune to Normal attacks. Quick Balls, Great Balls
SpiritombPokemon 442Spiritomb.png File:PkmnType Ghost.gif/File:PkmnType Dark.gif Appears in the Hallowed Tower once you have the Odd Keystone and have talked to at least 32 other people in the Underground (or the same person 32 times) ? ?
RotomPokemon 479Rotom.png 15 File:PkmnType Electric.gif/File:PkmnType Ghost.gif Appears in the Old Chateau at night (8pm to 4am) after obtaining the National Dex and talking to the Eterna Gym Leader outside the path to the Old Chateau. Once inside, go up the stairs and through the doorway in the back. Go in the room with the the television and examine it. Throw a Quick Ball. If that doesn't work, keep throwing Ultra Balls. Quick Balls, Ultra Balls
