The Newspaper Publisher house is located next to the Pokémon Center. The man  inside will tell you to bring a certain Pokémon to him so he can write up an article for it. If you don't bring it within 24 hours, the deal's off. If you do bring the Pokémon within the time limit they will give you 3 of a random Pokéball. The most commonly recieved Balls are Dusk Balls, Quick Balls, and Timer Balls.
Pokémon Day Care
*The Pokémon Daycare is located at the top os Solacean Town. It is definitely the best aspect of Solacean Town. This is how it works: Drop one or two Pokémon off at the daycare with the lady. For each step you take, your Pokémon in the daycare will grow 1 Exp. Point each (therefore, dropping two off is best as the Exp. Points are not split). This is a great way to get weak Pokémon that you want to catch up to speed, well, up to speed. There are two catches, one minor, one not so minor unless you know what you're doing. The first is the fact that their services aren't free. For each Pokémon you put in the daycare, you are automatically charged 100. Then, for each additional level that is gained you are charged aother100. The second catch, and the worst of the two, is the fact that you cannot choose which move your Pokémon will learn when it levels up and learns a new move. The only thing you know for sure is that a Pokémon will not  forget an HM move. Other than that, you could lose the move Shadow Claw to the move Leer. The only way to avoid this happening is this: Know when your Pokémon is going to learn the new move, and when it gets to the level before that, Fly or run back to the town quickly (Flying is better as you will not risk leveling it up on the way back). Then pull it out of the daycare (after paying the fee) and level it up to the next level yourself. Don't learn the move, and then return it to the daycare once more. Also, if you have 2 Pokémon in the daycare, there is a chance that they will lay an egg. for more info, look here.
In the northwest corner is the Day Care where you can drop off your Pokémon so they can level for a fee of $100 per level and if you leave two Pokémon that are compatible you can get an egg. For more details head to the

Solaceon Town
Solaceon Town

Solaceon Town is a small, out-of-the-way town you will encounter around the middle of your quest. Despite it being small, it is definitely not insignificant. There are several services here that you will probably use for the rest of the game.

Pokémon Day Care[edit]

In the northwest corner is the Day Care where you can drop off your Pokémon so they can level for a fee of $100 per level and if you leave two Pokémon that are compatible you can get an egg. For more details head to the Breeding section.

Inside after you drop off a Pokémon there will be a man who will give you the Day Care Checker Pokétch app.

Newspaper Press[edit]

The house next to the Pokémon Center is the where the Sinnoh Newspaper is printed. Inside there is a guy who will tell you to bring a certain Pokémon within 24 hours. If you do so he will give you 3 of any type of Poké Ball excluding the master ball, cherish ball, heal ball, safari ball, and park ball.

Other things to do[edit]

Talk to the Ruin Maniac standing on the yellow path in the center of town. He will give you the Pokémon History App for your Pokétch, which shows you the last twelve Pokémon you have acquired.

Visit the home hidden by ledges in the eastern half of the town. The lady inside will give you a Seal Case. After speaking with her son in Solaceon Ruins, return to this house. If you have an Unown in the top slot of your roster, you will receive ten seals of the corresponding letter!

Once done in town then head into the Solaceon Ruins.
