This is quite an unusual scenario, due to the way you interact with your allies. They operate some trade routes, but they have hardly any defenses, and pirates and bandits are taking advantage. You, in the role of the central government, have the responsibility of protecting your allies, and they will provide you with tribute. Your allies also feed you scouting information, so you don't need to do as much scouting as you normally would.

There is a way to get the perfect start on this scenario if you can get past the first hurdle as it is a bit of an all in play.

Immediately select your 3 Villagers and all army units and head north. Also set the Town Center waypoint to the local GOLD ores in base and build 4 Villagers set to mine.  Select your Market and buy 100 STONE. You can effectively ignore your base for the next few minutes, no one actually would but its that safe you could do so.

You are wanting to head exactly to the right of the starting battle spot shown on your map north of your base, about a screen size over.

Once here you will see an old brick road worn down over time and to the north east you will quickly find the Raiders stone walls and the left Gate entrance, your target. There are 2 Gates the Raiders start with and you only need to focus on the left one closer to  Aqaba. This gate has a tower so you must stay back and not allow it to fire.

Keep your army units close and central, don't let them stray and use them to defend the 3 Villagers who are now building a Guard Tower close to the brick road but pointing directly at the Gate.  As this is happening the Bandits will likely be onto you so kill the knights and some of the closer archers.

Pull units past the tower so it gets in good hits, saving your army units. Keep a watch on the tower as you may have found the Raiders have sent out their Battering Ram and a couple Knights they start the game with.  Tidy up from here with your small army which may be down to a couple units now.  You will find the Raiders very quickly resign leaving all that GOLD and STONE to be claimed!

As there is no Murder Holes upgrade yet the tower cannot shoot directly below itself so pull units past the tower so it gets in good hits, saving your army units. Keep a watch on the tower as you may have found the Raiders have sent out their Battering Ram and a couple Knights they start the game with.  Tidy up from here with your small army which may be down to a couple units now.  The Raiders feed you their Villagers as a last resort.

Once this happens the game will auto research Cartography for you for free revealing the map and your 2 allies!

Finally buy some more STONE and send the 3 Villagers to Aqaba and build a Guard Tower near the water and stone wall. There is already a tower here and you need to build next to it. You have room to be closer to the water and be more effective with range upgrades. Also later on send 5 archers to Garrison inside and it will survive all game without help. It is advised to wall off access to the western side of the map while you are here early.

This can be a little tricky to pull off so a couple of quick restarts may be required to master the play and perfect the tower spot. You can have them resigning as early as the 5 minute mark. Or you can try the slow build suggested below.

Research Cartography right away. Produce a bunch of villagers, perhaps as many as 15. Scout with the Light Cavalry. Be careful! Crusader bandits are everywhere!
