! Pokémon
To get to Route 224, you need to go through the back section of 1F in Victory Road which is only accessible after you beat the Elite Four and have the National Pokédex. If you remember the guy blocking an entrance during your first venture in Victory Road then you will notice he is gone once you are champion and have the National Pokédex. Before coming here make sure you have Pokémon with Defog, Strength and Surf. Go through the entrance when you are ready and you will be in the back section of 1F.
! Version

! Type
Follow the path and go down the stairs to go into the next section. Use Defog and you will find a trainer named Marley who needs your help going through the tunnel. She will then become your partner trainer and while she accompanies you all wild Pokémon battles will be multi battles. The trainer battles can be done one at a time or if you face two trainers at the same time then Marley will join you. After every battle she will heal your Pokémon. She has an Arcanine who only uses Helping Hand which is useless. Also you can't Surf while she is following you so it's best to skip the items that require Surf for now.

! Morning
Once you are ready then go up and push the boulder and continue up until you find Ace Trainers Brandi and Micah. Continue going up and push the next few boulders either to the right or left. After the boulders, you will find Psychics Desiree and Landon. Continue going up and push the boulder either all the way up against the next boulder or push it up two then all the way to the right. If you want both the Elixir and Dusk Stone then you have to exit this section and come back to get the second item. Once you get the second item then go up of the boulder maze and go right to find Black Eddie and Veteran Terrell. Go past them and push the boulder forward all the way onto the rock. In the middle rock next to the water is a hidden Max Revive. Continue on the path and you will find Dragon Tamer Joe and Bird Keeper Autumn. Go up and Surf to the second rock to find a hidden Rare Candy. Get out of the water and go down the stairs. Go right and you will find Psychics Deandre and Kendra. Go down the stairs and and follow the path in the maze to go down the next stairs where you will find Black Belt Willie and Veteran Brenden. Follow the path along the water and on a rock next to the wall is a hidden Big Mushroom. Go up the stairs then out the exit to the right and then Marley will leave you to go see the stone at the end of Route 224. Go back in and go straight then up the stairs and grab the Big Pearl. Go back down the stairs then go down to go down the next stairs then surf on the water. Go up the stairs and surf on the water then up the stairs then go left into the maze. Follow the path and go up the stairs and continue on the path to find Ace Trainers Arthur and Claurice. Follow the path past them and go up the stairs. All steps forward is a hidden Nugget. Surf on the water and go to the bottom right corner to pick up the Leftovers. Surf to the bottom left corner then go up until you can go down the stairs to the right. Go forward to the water then down and follow the path to the next stairs to go down. After the stairs go up and follow the path until you reach a line of rocks pointing to the left and on the last rock of the line is a hidden Full Restore. Take the path down after that rock and continue forward until you can go up stairs. After the stairs go left. Push the boulders out of the way so you can go up and follow that path until you go past the Psychics. Surf on the water above them then go down the stairs and go forward to the exit. Go up the stairs and through the next exit and you'll be on Route 224 finally.

==Route 224==
[[File:Pokemon DP Route 224 pre Oak.png|right|200 px|Route 224 pre Oak]]
If you are venturing onto this route without Oak's Letter then the end of it will be all rock. If you have it then it will be full of flowers and a new path will open up called Seabreak Path which leads to Flower Paradise with Shaymin in it.
[[File:Pokemon DP Route 224 post Oak.png|right|200px|Route 224 post Oak]]
Upon entering the route go up and down two flights of stairs to find Ace Trainer Ruben. Go down the next stairs and go all the way left in the grass then up until you see a narrow path in the trees. On this path is Pyschics Brittney and Maxwell. To the right of Maxwell is a narrow passage way to bring you to a cliff with stairs. Surf on the water to the right and at the end is a Rare Candy. If you go up the stairs then at the end of that path is a berry patch. Go back to the grass area before Pyschics Brittney and go the the top right corner to find Veteran Armando. Go past Armando and follow the path onto the beach. Immediately go down and surf down on the water. You will see a line of trees on your left as you surf and on the bottom left corner of the last tree is a hidden PP Max. Continue surfing down and on the small piece of land at the end is a Razor Claw. Surf back up to the beach. A couple steps below the first big rock is a hidden Stardust. Right after the big rock is Black Belt Carl. A couple steps to the right of the second big rock is another hidden Stardust. Continue to the end of the beach and to the right of the last big rock is yet another hidden Stardust. Go up and right after the beach is Ruin Maniac Larry. Go up a couple steps and you'll find Ace Trainer Jaime hiding behind a tree. Go left then up the stairs to find Dragon Tamer Hayden. Right next to Hayden is a Destiny Knot. Go up the stairs then down the stairs to the right. Surf on the water and in the wall two steps in front of the big rock is a hidden Big Pearl. Go on the island to get past the big rock and go two steps right of it to find a hidden Pearl then and another two steps right to find another hidden Pearl. Go back up the stairs then go up and find the white stone. If you have Oak's Letter then he will be standing next to it. He will ask you to examine the rock as he found one like it in Kanto and he wants your help to solve the mystery. He says it's apparently for a trainer to engrave his or her thoughts after growing as a person through adventure. He then says that you are a trainer that fits this and that's why he asked for your help. He then asks you who you are most thankful for and after you answer there will be a cutscene in where your surroundings become full of flowers and Shaymin appears. It looks at you and gets scared then runs off onto Seabreak Path to go to Flower Paradise. Oak wants to know what Pokémon that was so go follow it and catch it.
