Very close to the heaviest unit that you can get in the Early Era, and the only sacred unit available to Enigma of Steel Ulm. The greatsword is length 3, which makes them nice against cavalry, and their armor can be buffed up nicely through blessings or the Earth spells easily available to Ulm, making them rock solid. The magic resistance blows goats, but that's Ulm.
