Yoshi's Island 4 is the fourth level in Yoshi's Island.


This level consists of platforms above water. At the platform which Mario starts from, three fishes are swimming underneath, they will jump after a few seconds. The first pipe in the level leads to an above ground screen, [[Super Mario World/Enemies#Pokey|Pokeys]] are there and only coins can be collected.

The '''Lives Strategy''' focuses on getting lives, and at the same time, stays as safe as possible. A rule of thumb is, if you can get a life, then be in greater danger than before, that is worth it, because if you die, you don't lose any lives and if you survive, you gain a life. The lives strategy also goes for mushrooms, fire flowers, and cape feathers as well because they save lives.

* You'll find a couple of Pokeys here, as well as a ? block with several coins inside. If you don't have Yoshi with you, it might be advisable to skip this area, as the Pokeys are a bit difficult to deal with on your own. You'll return at the green pipe in the next section.

Yoshi's Island 4 is the fourth level in Yoshi's Island.

Secret 1-up
