Walkthrough[edit]

Funtopia may appear difficult with its high 1,400 guest requirement, but it already has an influx of guests rushing in to see the two roller coasters it has: the corkscrew coaster Defibrillator and the very twisty Grapevine. Not only that, but there's already a ton of rides unlocked, including nine roller coaster types, and there's a lot of flat land to work with. With some setup, beating this level will take little effort.

First, get your handymen to stop mowing the lawn by clicking on them and unchecking mow grass from their list of orders. If you don't, they'll be too focused mowing instead of cleaning up the pathways. Hire a few more handymen to patrol the pathways evenly. Hire another mechanic to handle the corkscrew coaster while the other one stays near Grapevine. Then, raise the price of Defibrillator; it can be charged up to $5.90 since it's newly built. Grapevine can also be raised up to $8.10 if you desire, but $5.50 is a decent enough price for the ride. As for the Ferris Wheel, either put some decoration to make it more fun or delete it entirely as it's 0.94 fun rating will make it unappealing to guests once the novelty wears off. Set research to maximum and put focus on Thrill Rides to get the Whoa Belly by May. Finally, add some shops and bathrooms, one for each side of the park at least.

Handymen will continuously mow the lawn and ignore cleaning pathways if they're left unattended.

As for new rides, set a couple of gentle rides first before building a new roller coaster. It's recommended to build a gentle ride right at the entrance as well as one somewhere at the path surrounding Grapevine. You can build over the highway as long as it's two units above the ground. Once a few trees are chopped down, there's plenty of flat space to work it. Alternatively, you can also build a go-kart track, which is another crowd-pleaser that's far more compact. If you deleted the Ferris Wheel, you can place the track over there if you desire. If space gets limited, you can put research into more compact roller coaster types. The first two roller coasters that will be researched are the Steel Wild Mouse and the Virginia Reel, which can fit into small spaces easily.

Expansion may look limited, but there's enough space to create another circle along the north side to keep guests walking around. The south side is smaller but there can be room for more rides since the Defibrillator isn't very big and Grapevine is mostly very high up at the south side of the park. As always, find a way to squeeze in some advertising while building rides to keep guest attendance from stagnating. There's also a lot of scenery to research, so if you feel that you have enough rides, try sectioning a piece of the park to build a themed area for extra appeal.
