Walkthrough[edit]

Utopia Park (or just Utopia when you enter the level for some reason) is a tiny oasis in the middle of a somewhat flat desert. The area you start with is small, but can be expanded by buying land for $30 a pop. With a goal of 1400 guests, you have to expand eventually, but it's imperative to have a solid park before doing so, which means using what little space you have to your advantage.

Set research maximum with only Roller Coasters checked and once you have enough to work with, switch to Shops & Stalls to get more food variety. Usually food for hot days like Ice Cream are very useful, but in this scenario, it'll be the sixth and final shop to unlock, so it's better to focus research on more rides after getting a few stalls. Then place a couple of flat rides and open the park to get guests coming. It's best to pick the Steel Mini Roller Coaster for your first coaster here as the curved chain lifts and flat-to-steep drops makes it versatile enough to build in small spaces. If you still need to buy land to finish the coaster, only buy what you need; buying large patches of land all at once can quickly drain funds.

Once profits are rolling in, try expanding to the east or north, as there's only a short mountain range before it leads to flat land. Building track rides near the elevated area can allow you to add tunnels for excitement bonuses. More importantly, be sure to plan ahead when building rides so mistakes don't force you to buy up more land to fix them. Focus on getting more versatile roller coasters such as the Steel Corkscrew and the Virginia Reel or good thrill rides like the Whoa Belly and Swinging Inverter Ship to continue building rides that don't require a lot of space.

Steel Minis are easy to build in small spaces.

Once you get over the hurdle of expanding while keeping a profit, this level should go smoothly. Aim for at least 600 guests at the end of the first year and keep that growth going with more rides, careful land purchases, and advertising.
