Walkthrough[edit]

The first thing you'll notice when starting this park is the huge gray pyramid residing in the middle of it. Inside is a singular Whoa Belly that travels out of the pyramid's top. At the front of the pyramid's entrance are two thrill rides: a Swinging Ship and a Scrambled Eggs. Unfortunately, they won't be useful for long as this park rains frequently, more than any other scenario so far. Building in the pyramid as well as around it will be essential to reach 1,400 guests.

Before building new rides, you'll have to decide if the two rides out front are worth keeping. If you want to replace them with covered rides, you can replace them with the Haunted House or the Merry Go Round. Either way, hire two mechanics, one for the two rides out front and one for the ride inside the pyramid, as well as some handymen. Set research to either Roller Coasters to get more types or Thrill Rides as the next two in line are covered rides: Motion Simulator and 3D Cinema. Place an Information Kiosk at the entrance to ensure guests get maps and umbrellas for the rain. Finally, the entrance already has a fee of $7. You can either not bother with having an entrance fee or raise it up to $20.

Start outside and tunnel into the wall.

Building new rides inside the pyramid will not be easy as there's only one side of the pyramid out of four with walls big enough to make tunnels through. You will either have to raise the edges or lower the land surrounding the pyramid to build at the other edges. Once you find a spot, pick a custom-track ride like a roller coaster and lay down your station piece near the wall. Build forward into the wall and it should be inside the pyramid. If you decide to have the ride completely underground, simply build your station a little further ahead and delete the section that's outside of the pyramid. Keep in mind that the ride doesn't have to be completely underground for it to count as an indoor ride; at least 40% of the ride has to be underground for it to count. In addition, be careful of the edges of the pyramid as they'll make it difficult to put turns, slopes, and special pieces. Once the ride is built, you'll have to go to free path mode while building your queue line and exit path to build underground. If you have to delete path in the pyramid, make sure no guests are on it or they'll freefall into the darkness.

When building path inside the pyramid, it's recommended to eventually come out at one of the four corners toward the outside path. This will keep your guests walking around inside for the roller coasters and outside for indoor rides as well as shops and stalls since those can't be built underground. Put a good amount of Information Kiosks or Souvenir Stalls around the outside to give your guests umbrellas. If you need more cash, you can actually raise the price of umbrellas significantly as guests will buy one as soon as it rains. Don't forget to check the "same price throughout park" option to have all umbrellas at a high price.

Despite how difficult it can be to build underground, reaching 1400 guests isn't very difficult. If you keep building rides around and inside the pyramid, you could reach up to 800 guests by the end of the first year. Try to aim for four (mostly or completely) underground roller coasters to keep thrill-seeking customers satisfied. If you need more ride variety to lure in guests, don't hesitate to build non-indoor rides as they'll still lure in customers and make a profit despite the rain keeping them away.
