Walkthrough[edit]

The final level of Corkscrew Follies and compared to the last one, it's huge. This park is basically an extra large Evergreen Gardens with paths, plants, trees, and water everywhere. Along with redecorating this massive garden to become an equally massive amusement park, you have the highest guest goal in Corkscrew Follies to beat, 2000 guests in 4 years. You'll have to use everything to your advantage to win: building lots of coasters, advertising in the late game, and reconstructing the park for a more efficent design.

Build your rides near the entrance first to decide how much you want your guests to explore. Any sections that end up not being used should be blocked off by deleting path or adding a Do Not Enter banner for now. Once you have the capital to expand later, you will reopen those areas. Stick with the area that has the red and yellow tulips and Aleppo Pines to build your first rides. Thankfully, the only flowers you need to water are those tulips and the white flowers near the clock, but if they're too much work for your handymen, feel free to delete them. Finally, set your research to roller coasters as four coasters to start is a little lacking.

Start out with the Virginia Reel or the Wooden Crazy Rodent as they're both cheap to make good coasters with and once research rolls in, you should build other coasters like the Steel Mini and the Mine Train coasters. This park has lots of hills, so if they start obstructing your coasters, try making tunnels underground. The Steel Roller Coaster is not here, but if you want launched rides, you'll eventually get the Stand Up Steel and Corkscrew coasters if space or money starts to become a problem. As for flat rides, there's already a lot of gentle rides to build, but not a lot of thrill rides, so switch to Thrill Rides once you have enough coaster types.

Build into hills and weave around trees.

You want to keep consistently building and once your profits are in the thousands, advertising to keep guests trickling in. Once you open more areas, you'll find two that have way too many paths at one corner of the map: the graveyard and the dozen mini buildings. You're better off removing both to keep guests from getting confused and having space for rides. Keep in mind that removing the graves will be tedious since there is no mass removal tool until the second game. You can decorate them a different way if you want to keep the garden aesthetic, but rides should be placed first.

It's important to not slack off as the months go by as you'll need a steady supply of rides and advertising to get guests coming. You'll need a lot of coasters to lure these peeps in, so make sure to have every coaster researched before the level is finished and use as many as you can. Aim for at least 500 guests at the end of your first year and go higher the next year to ensure you won't fall behind.
