Walkthrough[edit]

Compared to the last scenario, Roman Village should be a cakewalk. It's a decently sized area where you have part of a lake with a Boat Hire and a mostly flat section with an aqueduct, some trees, and lots of Roman-themed scenery. There's plenty of space to work with, lots of rides to choose from, and guests are already trickling in with the only ride built; keeping the momentum going shouldn't be difficult after a few tweaks to the park.

First of all, close the Boat Hire and make it a closed ciruit instead of an open area to keep guests from complaining about being stuck on the ride. You can already see two riders going down the aqueduct with very little room to turn back, which will make the ride way longer than it should be. You can also put a small, gentle ride at the edge of the lake like a Spiral Slide to give a mechanic two easy rides to maintain. Hire some handymen and place any trapped entertainers down in the main area to make them more effective at their job. As for research, pick Thrill Rides first to get the Go Karts quickly. After that, you can choose any type of research you want.

Use the buildings for rides instead of destroying them.

As pretty as it looks, the layout of the main area is filled with dead ends and useless pathways. In particular, there's a building that contains a giant, confusing 4x4 path square. Remove any short dead ends you can find as well as any pathways that cause guests to go in circles. The decoration is optional to keep, but if it gets in the way of any rides, you can easily remove it and even get a little money for it. The buildings are the trickiest to deal with; since they're actually land formations, getting rid of them will quickly eat up your money. Plan some of your track-based rides to go through the buildings instead for an excitement bonus by being underground. Once the park makes great profits, you can flatten the buildings if they really get in the way or cause guests to get lost.

Space will be a factor later on since some of it is taken up by a lake and a large aqueduct. To reiterate, you can get rid of the buildings if they get in the way, but don't go overboard or you'll lose too much money. Most of the ground is flat, so use it to your advantage to build a lot of cheap, standard rides. There is room for about seven to eight coasters, so aim for that amount to increase guest capacity. As always, advertise often once your profits are in the thousands to gain even more guests.
