Walkthrough[edit]

Hydro Hills consists of six lakes with small hills in-between. It may look difficult to build rides here, but the lakes are actually rather shallow; except for the largest one at the very back, all the lakes are one unit deep, giving you plenty of free space to build as many rides as you want. The hills are a little steep, but there's a lot of flat land to work with as well. Compared to Whispering Cliffs, this should be a breeze.

Other than some path and a single water ride, the place is virtually empty, so preparation is minimal. It's usually recommended to fix the Boat Hire into a complete circuit. Although most guests will eventually go back to the dock, there are those special few that wander aimlessly while demanding to get off the ride, forcing you to reset the ride to open it again. Free roam Boat Hires are better suited for small bodies of water. After that, hire some staff members, put research toward Thrill Rides and place an Information Kiosk near the entrance.

With six coasters already available, you can get started on building one after plopping down a couple of stationary rides to quickly lure guests in. With a maximum loan of $20,000, you can go all out with a giant coaster, but if you prefer to make a cheaper coaster, you can use the Steel or Steel Mini types to create a reverse-incline coaster for little cost. As you move up to the next lake, build two paths with both paths over the edges of the lakes instead of the land and connect them with a path between the first two lakes. Repeat this as you move toward the next lakes to keep the space in the middle free for rides. The steady stream of rides should bring in guests to raise park value. It's recommended to aim for at least 1,000 guests and four to five coasters to reach your goal.

You can use the free space available to build more crazy coasters. If you haven't practiced building more complex coasters, this park is perfect for it. The shallow lakes provide plenty of free room, the elevation gives more space for downward drops, and some slight adjustments can allow some interesting tunnels. As always, you can replace stationary rides and shops at the last months of the final year for a quick park boost.
