Evergreen Gardens has the highest requirement of guest attendance of any scenario thus far. This may seem intimidating, but remember that you also have more time than any other scenario to reach the goal. Reaching the required attendance won't be as much of a problem as finding room to build rides. As you play on this scenario, you will find that the real challenge here is trying to build rides and coasters in this hilly garden park.

The first thing you want to do, before you even open the park, is to cut off the extensive path system. Do this by deleting a section of the path near the top of either hill and a small way out into the flat clearing. If you allow the guests to roam the park's existing path set, they will quickly get lost and the notification bar at the bottom will become overrun with messages about guests becoming lost. Even with an information kiosk selling park maps, it's best to keep the path system as simple as possible.

If you check the available rides, you will find that scenery and theming aside, there is hardly anything available. Set the research to maximum and check off rollercoasters, thrill rides, and shops and stalls. With the path system cut off, build a Merry-Go-Round and a Swinging Ship wherever you can find room. If you haven't already, go ahead and open the park. Build a Burger Bar, a Drink Stall, and a Bathroom and hire a handyman and a mechanic as the guests trickle in. While guests are busy checking out the new rides, use their money to build a wooden rollercoaster in the open flat part ahead of the entrance. If you need money, don't hesitate to take out a loan. This scenario allows you to take out a tremendous amount of money. Although this is available, use it only as necessary.

You have plenty of room and plenty of time to finish this scenario, so take your time and keep the guests happy. Soon, you should research the Information Kiosk, which is helpful in keeping the guests from getting lost and the Steel Rollercoaster, which can be built in tight quarters and still earn a good excitement rating. As you need more room, reconnect the paths and delete the path farther up, extending your park, but keeping the guests from exploring the entire path system. Keep the rating up and continue expanding the park and you may even reach the goal before the third year is up.
