|adesc=Mii Brawler punches, then punches again, then follows up with a continuous rapid jab before finishing with a kick. This move is an average Standard Attack, being quite fast and having each hit combo into each other naturally. However, it does suffer from minor range issues, especially if you're using a small Mii. You should use small bursts of it at close-range to poke at your opponents, using its speed to make up for its poor reach.

|fadesc=Mii Brawler does a roundhouse kick. The attack can be angled up or down.
|fadesc=Mii Brawler does a roundhouse kick which is slightly stronger at the thighs than at the foot. The attack can be angled up or down. This is a pretty good move due to its decent range and angling feature. Its pretty fast, so you can use it as a moderately safe poke or to space yourself at close-range. It is also pretty good when used out of a pivot cancel, as it is less punishable than Dash Attack while still knocking foes away.

|uadesc=Mii Brawler performs a fast uppercut.
|uadesc=Mii Brawler performs a fast uppercut. Its quick and weak, the obvious traits of a good juggling attack. While it does low damage, you can easily chain this move into itself, letting you rack up some easy damage. When your foe's percentage is high enough, you can also continue the combo with air attacks. The main problem of this move is its terrible reach, so you'll often have to set this move up using more reliable combo starters like Down Throw.

|dadesc=Mii Brawler does a low sweep kick.
|dadesc=Mii Brawler does a low sweep kick. This move is a pretty good combo starter. It is reasonably quick, has really good range for Mii Brawler and hits foes up at the perfect height to combo. At low percents, you can usually follow up with grab or Strong Up Attack, while it also sets up aerial combos at intermediate percents. Its low hitbox can also help it poke through shields, or just for spacing in general with its good range.

|dashadesc=Mii Brawler does a drop kick while rushing forward. This move is a standard Dash Attack, being stronger if you strike with it early and getting weaker over time. As with most Dash Attacks, you can use it to close the distance with an enemy as you move forward a bit with each use, although it is also quite punishable if shielded. You'll use this primarily as a quick punish at mid-range, or as part of a combo.

|fsmashdesc=Mii Brawler lunges forward and punches hard. This attack is very strong even for a smash attack, but it has noticeable endlag. Obviously, it is one of Mii Brawler's best KO moves due to its sheer force, but you'd want to use it conservatively as it is very punishable if you fail to land it. The range of the attack is surprisingly good since Mii Brawler leans forward for the punch, and it can catch foes off-guard. Save it for punishes or attempt it against recovering foes to maximize your chances of a successful hit. If you do land the punch, it can KO extremely early, potentially around 70% uncharged.

|usmashdesc=Mii Brawler performs a flip kick.
|usmashdesc=Mii Brawler performs a flip kick. As with most flip kicks, it is the most powerful at the start, and does weaker horizontal knockback near the end. This smash attack is certainly not as strong as Forward Smash, but it is a lot faster, and thus much more reliable than Side Smash. The ability to perform this move out of a dash also makes it easier to net KOs off of a fast punish. Barring some of the Mii Brawler's specials, this attack should be your primary option for landing KOs. Try to always hit with the stronger early sweetspot, as the move's power decreases significantly when hitting with the back part.

|dsmashdesc=Mii Brawler does a punch in front and a kick behind, with the kick being slightly stronger. This attack also serves as a KO move, although it is more uncommonly used. Its features are middle of the road between Side Smash and Up Smash. It is less punishable than Side Smash, but you are still punishable if you miss as it is moderately sluggish. It also does more consistent damage and knockback overall than Up Smash, despite both having similar knockback power. Overall, you can throw this out occasionally as a surprise when your other KO moves are stale, but its awkward speed and animation hinders it from being more useful compared to other smash attack.

Revision as of 11:08, 18 December 2014

Packing agility and strength, the Mii Brawlers are one of the three very customizable Mii Fighter classes in the game. As the only Mii Fighter without a weapon, the Mii Brawler has an obvious range disadvantage, but makes up for this with sheer speed and power. The Mii Brawler has the best mobility among the Mii Fighters, with excellent stats relative to other characters as well. They also come with swift attacks and a diverse selection of special moves. From relentlessly quick combo masters to slow but strong brutes, the Mii Brawler is the perfect template for any Mii martial artists.

Basic Attributes

As the stats of Mii Fighters differ depending on their size, it is difficult to make accurate comparisons of them with other fighters. Generally, the Mii Brawlers have above average dash speed and lateral air speed, which only increases the smaller the Mii is. They also have high jumps and moderately fast falling speed. Mii Brawler can also wall jump as well, improving their recovery a bit. Note that the Mii Brawler's reach is directly tied to their size. The small and blindingly fast Miis have pitiful range on par with Pikachu, while the slower, taller Miis have useful long limbs.

A button after grab A button after grab 2 button after grab Mii Headbutt Mii Brawler headbutts the grabbed foe. This attack does good damage for a move of its kind, but it is moderately slow. Use it like with any other Grab Attack to deal a little extra damage before throwing your opponent.

Right lstick after grab Right nunchuk after grab Right dpad after grab Punch Off Mii Brawler punches the grabbed foe away. This throw is quite quick and does the most damage out of all of their throws, and it can even combo into some moves at low percents. Other than that, it functions like a standard sideways throw, used to throw opponents offstage to set up an edgeguard.

Left lstick after grab Left nunchuk after grab Left dpad after grab Round Kick Mii Brawler turns around and kicks the grabbed foe back. This throw is similar to Forward Throw, just slightly slower. Its longer animation makes it harder to combo out of this move. It also serves the same role as Forward Throw, used to get opponents offstage to initiate an edgeguard scenario.

Up lstick after grab Up nunchuk after grab Up dpad after grab Sky Push Mii Brawler knocks the grabbed foe upward with his palm. Like most Up Throws, this throw suffers from a bit too much knockback for combos and being overshadowed by Down Throw. As mentioned before, Up Throw puts foes too high up to follow-up on, but can't KO quickly or reliably either. While it does do more damage than Down Throw and still sends opponents into the air, you're usually better off using the weaker Down Throw for more consistent follow-ups.

Down lstick after grab Down nunchuk after grab Down dpad after grab Mii Slam Mii Brawler slams the grabbed foe into the ground, bouncing them up. As with many Down Throws, this move serves as Mii Brawler's combo throw. It combos very well into the Mii Brawler's good air attacks, letting you do much more damage off of a grab despite it being the weakest throw. At higher percentages, this mild, diagonal knockback also places opponents in a vulnerable position where it is easy to do follow-up attacks if you read and punish your enemies' options.

Final Smash - Omega Blitz

Mii Brawler does an upward kick that sends any opponents nearby to the top of the center of the stage. They then unleash a devastating series of punches and kicks in all direction, finishing off with one final chop that sends foes barreling downward and bouncing back up. This move is a pretty standard trapping Final Smash, as it requires you to land the initial flip kick for the rest of the attack to occur. Granted, the activation range is slightly shorter than initiation attacks for other character's Final Smashes, but the Mii Brawler compensates with sheer power. This Final Smash usually KOs at 15%-25%, probably earlier depending on stage layout. The fact that Mii Brawler sends their unlucky target to the center of the screen before continuing with the rest of the attack also makes KOs with Omega Blitz more consistent.
