X-Blades

Template:Infobox X-Blades (known in Russia as Oniblade (Ониблейд)) is a hack and slash action-adventure game with an RPG element for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. It was first released in Russia in late 2007 by 1C Company, later by TopWare Interactive throughout North America, SouthPeak Interactive in Europe, and finally by Ubisoft throughout Japan in 2009.

Players control Ayumi, a treasure hunter that wields a pair of gunblades and various spells, and take her through a linear adventure that explores indoor and outdoor environments where monsters are present in both preset numbers and in areas with "Monster Generators" that spawn both standard enemies and bosses until the generator is destroyed. Hidden power-ups and coin fragments can be found to grant upgrades are throughout the game. Power-ups include combat techniques, magic, weapon enhancements, and teleportation. As players defeat enemies, they earn experience points which can be converted into skills.
