Monado Arts
|
Activates one of Shulk's five Monado Arts to change his properties in various ways. Each Art will enhance one stat and reduce another. Tap the button repeatedly to cycle between the Arts. The symbol that appears behind Shulk and the color of his aura indicate which Art is selected. Each Art also has a cooldown time before you can use it again. Learn to use the right Art for the current situation.
- 翔 Jump: Green aura. Makes him jump higher, but lowers his defense.
- 疾 Speed: Blue aura. Makes him move faster, but his attacks will be weaker.
- 盾 Shield: Yellow aura. Raises his defense, but he'll move slower.
- 斬 Buster: Purple aura. His attacks will deal more damage but be less able to launch opponents.
- 撃 Smash: Red aura. This is the opposite of Buster. He'll be better able to launch opponents, but his attacks deal less damage. He'll also be launched more easily.

|

Final Smash - Chain Attack
Shulk makes a light appear in front of him. If an enemy is inside this light, Shulk summons his teammates Dunban and Riki. The three of them then attack together.
