GTA III: Your favourite fast car is perfect for this mission. If you're worried about the Mafia's shotguns you can use the Bulletproof Patriot.
GTA LC: you can can use a PCJ if you feel confident you can get between the checkpoints without crashing.

Long Description
There are nine stands dotted throughout the city. First of all, drive around to each without damaging any of them. The mission timer only begins when the first is destroyed, so you can take all the time you want to explore the locations. Then you can use the dots on the map to home in on each location.
It is recommended that you start at one end of the city and work your way to the other end. After each smash re-assess the map to see the next most logical target to ensure the shortest driving time.
