Since the controls are somewhat complex, a diagram is available to illustrate each control. Alternate control schemes are also listed in text form. It is suggested, however, that stylus or left stylus mode is used.

Metroid Prime Hunters is based on Metroid Prime for the GameCube developed by Retro Studios, and takes place between Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. This time there are six other bounty hunters all fighting Samus over the alimbics, which are said to hold ultimate power. Metroid Prime: Hunters features a relatively lengthy single player mode, wireless single-cart and multi-cart multiplayer, and a four player wi-fi mode.
