This page contains information about the alternate control schemes available with the Nintendo GameCube and Xbox versions of Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO. The Sega Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 versions do not have an EO (Easy Operation or Extreme Offense), and may only be played with a regular control scheme. Note that all controls can be customized.

GameCube[edit]

  • Z button - Taunts.

GC-Ism[edit]

Note P and K grooves have no additional buttons like the other grooves.

  • Neutral control - Moves character.
  • Neutral cstick - Performs a move based on character, direction and amount tilted.
  • Y button - Tactical.
  • R button - Punch.
  • L button - Kick.

C Groove[edit]

  • B button - Rolls.
  • A button - Counters.

A Groove[edit]

  • X button - Oricom.
  • B button - Rolls.
  • A button - Counters.

S Groove[edit]

  • X button - Power up gauge.
  • B button - Dodge.
  • A button - Counters.

N Groove[edit]

  • X button - Uses one power orb, Max's power (must have at least one orb to use).
  • B button - Rolls.
  • A button - Counters.

AC-Ism[edit]

  • Neutral control - Moves character and used in combination for some moves. Alternatively can use Neutral dpad
    • Up control - Jumps. Press Down controlUp control to jump higher than normal. Note that diagonal up works as well.
    • Down control - Ducks.
