24.) The BARZINIS are the strongest of the four rival families.
25.) Some Corleones will offer you contract hits against rival family members. Completing hits earns you respect and money.
26.) POWER ATTACK: While locked-on, move down then up.
27.) You'll get a bigger cut of your extorted business income as you rise up through the Family ranks.
28.) THROW MOLOTOV: Move back then move forward to let it fly.

42.) Each merchant has a weakness - try throwing them around, smashing up their store, or knocking out customers.
43.) When you see a roadblock, chances are there is a RACKET WAREHOUSE nearby.
44.) Reveal a weapon by pressing Up on the directional pad. Put it away again by pressing Down on the directional pad.
45.) Rackets use legitimate businesses as fronts. Take over the business to unlock the back door.
46.) The STREET SWEEPER is one of the most powerful weapons you can buy from a BLACK MARKET MERCHANT.
47.) The shotgun is most effective at close range. Always use the right weapon for the job.
48.) Running in the open can be suicide during a gunfight - use cover!
49.) BOMBS can do major damage - including taking out a whole business. Use with care.
50.) Eliminate each of the rival families to control all of New York City.

99.) For increased firearm accuracy, wait for your spread to shrink to its smallest size.
100.) Don't forget to upgrade your SKILLS as you earn more respect.
101.) Banks have lots of cash for the taking if you have dynamite for the vault and aren't afraid of cops.
102.) Moving in different directions will do different melee attacks. Try stringing different attacks together for powerful combos.
103.) Eliminate a rival family by taking over all of its businesses and blowing up its compound.

120.) Go into FREE-AIM to easily target explosive crates, barrels, and racket trucks.
121.) Corleone Family allies and soldiers always wear black jackets, and they will help you out in a pinch.
122.) Before extorting a business, take care of any rival family guards outside.
123.) Outgunned? Find a BLACK MARKET MERCHANT to upgrade your firearms.
124.) Killing civilians will raise your HEAT and gets the cops all over you. Only kill when you have to.
125.) BUYOUT racket bosses by talking to them first. Have enough cash and they'll make it worth your while.

127.) Exploding cars can be a powerful weapon if you're quick and careful.
128.) Telephones can be found in hotels, clubs, and safehouses.
129.) Crew members can be hired in every neighborhood. Look for the crew icon on your map.
130.) Press to grab BOTTLES. Throw them at enemies to stun them.
131.) Every merchant has a WEAK SPOT. Find the weak spot to guarantee a maximum payout!
132.) Some merchants may ask you for a FAVOR. Help them out, and you'll be richly rewarded.
133.) Hold BACK to view your NOTEPAD. The notepad has a list of all your current objectives.
134.) When taking over a warehouse or a compound, hire a CREW MEMBER for some extra muscle.
135.) Interrogate the driver of a racket truck, and he'll give you his KEYS. Drive the truck to a truck drop-off to score a nice bonus!
136.) Smashing up a store is a great way to intimidate a merchant.
137.) You can retry CONTRACT HITS if you miss the bonus condition the first time around.
138.) Doing a FAVOR for a Corleone is a great way to earn respect with the Family.
139.) During combat, move in different directions to throw special attacks and combos.
140.) During a MOB WAR, your businesses will be repeatedly bombed until the war ends.
141.) You can only hire crew members that are equal or less than your own rank.
142.) Once you bribe a cop, the BRIBE TIMER will show how long the police will be friendly to you.
143.) HEAT levels are unique for each neighborhood. If your heat gets too high, try driving to a different neighborhood and hide out.
