Bowser, Mario's archenemy, returns in smash after being in Super Smash Bros. Melee. First appearing in Super Mario Bros. Bowser grew to be quite the popular boss for the Mario series.
Bowser's moveset remains mostly the same from the Melee version.
Bowser's throws are where his most successful techniques lie. For such a slow moving character, having such quick throws is a blessing, so abuse the power of the Bowser throw! That is all.
His throws have limited range, which shouldn't be a problem because all his attacks are Melee, so you should be able to grab and throw almost all the time. Just stay close and abuse your throws.
But do remember that combos are also a necessity, because heavy characters are slow they don't often get to land a good combo so use one at every chance you get. (However, don't forget the Thee Ps: Patience, Precision, and Power.)

Stats
- Weight: Heaviest character in the game. 10/10
- Offense: Bowser has some highly damaging attacks and his forward smash is the most damaging non-Final Smash move in the game. 10/10
- Defense: Many of Bowser's attacks have quite a bit of lag that leaves him vulnerable to attacks. 5/10
- Projectile: Fire breath - rapid attack, range decreases over time. 3/10
- Final Smash: Giga Bowser can do quite a bit of damage but otherwise it's not all that special. Definitely not one of the better Final Smashes. 6/10
- Throwing Ability: Some really good throws. 9/10
- Speed: Bowser's walk is ridiculously slow, though his dashing speed is decent for a heavyweight. 4/10
- Overall: 8/10
Final Smash
Giga Bowser Transformation: Bowser transforms into Giga Bowser (from Super Smash Bros. Melee) temporarily, making him bigger, stronger, fiercer, and nearly invincible. If Giga Bowser is hit, even with a smash attack, there will be no knockback, but he still takes damage as normal. Many of his attacks now do noticably more damage and his smash attacks now have elemental properties ranging from Ice, Fire, Shadow, and Lightning. The transformation in its entirety lasts from 12-16 seconds.
