Route 28 takes you to Mt. Silver. It is a fairly long road that is not densely populated by Trainers, but it is well-populated with plenty of wild Pokémon in the tall grass. Take a rest at the Pokémon Center before heading up to Mt. Silver.

Route features[edit]
No more guards![edit]
The two men that used to block the paths in the Pokémon League Reception Gate are gone, so you can now travel straight through (to the West) from Route 22 to Route 28, where the entrance to Mt. Silver lies. This area has its own Pokémon Center, so you can pack light.
The Celebrity Recluse[edit]
The woman in the only house on Route 28 is living in the middle of nowhere to get away from her fans. She will be very surprised to see you. She is so concerned about her privacy that she'll bribe you with TM 47 (Steel Wing) to buy your silence. It's a nice Steel attack that most winged Pokémon can learn.

You can always use more Rare Candy, especially considering what's ahead. Pick up a freebie by walking down the path through the trees to the right of the celebrity's house.
Across the lake, you can also find a Full Restore hidden in the middle of the upper ledge.
