|[[Image:Pokemon_023Ekans.png|right]]Ekans is pretty cool, because he comes with Wrap built in, and that's one of the best early skills in the game.  Use it repeatedly against slower enemies to choke the life out of 'em while preventing them from ever getting an attack in edgewise.  But on the down side, he doesn't really learn anything particularly interesting as he grows and evolves into {{bp|Arbok}}.

Route 4 is a sort of one-way street—you can go from Mt. Moon to Cerulean City, but you can't do the opposite because of the small cliffs that make up the route. Not many Trainers will challenge you on Route 4.
