When you first get here, your rival will appear, he'll fight you. When you beat him, you have two ways of getting through, go south for the quick way. East is the long way but it has a shop where you can buy some items, also every Monday night, to the left of the house, there'll be Clefairy running round a Moon Stone (inside a smashable rock).
