Khoonda Plains[edit]

When you leave the Crystal Cave after encountering Master Vrook within, Azkul and six of his mercenaries await you in the Khoonda plains, which have been cleared of any kinraths:

Azkul: You are the Jedi I've heard reports of. And I am Azkul, leader of the mercenaries on Dantooine.
Dialog
1. What do you want with me? 2. I've learned that you are planning an assault on Khoonda.
Azkul: Straight to the point. I like that. I will be equally direct. I am planning to take Khoonda, and you're going to help me. Azkul: That is correct. And I want you to help me.
4. But why attack Khoonda?
Azkul: You don't need to know the details. But I can tell you there are a lot of credits involved.
3. I have nothing to say to you. 1. Why would I help you? 2. Go on. 3. What's in it for me? 5. I would never help you.
Azkul: According to my reports, I have four times as many soldiers as the militia, and I am committed to taking Khoonda. It is inevitable that I will succeed. If you wish to avoid my men eradicating the people of Dantooine, you will make it easier for me to take Khoonda. Of course, I will pay well for your services.
1. What do you have in mind?
Azkul: There are many ways someone with your abilities can aid us. Before the action begins, I have two main tasks in mind for you: disable the gun turrets and the traps.
1. So, you want me to destroy the gun turrets? 2. What about the traps?
Azkul: Deal with the turrets however you see fit. Just keep them from pestering my men. Azkul: When the militia learns of our attack, they will plant traps around the entrances to Khoonda. Disable them.
Azkul: Decide quickly. I have a slaughter to plan.

If you say you'll help him:

3. Okay, I'Il help you. 4. [Lie] Okay, I'll help you.

Azkul: Return to me when you when you are ready for us to begin our assault. I warn you not to keep me waiting.
Kreia: Well maneuvered! With both the mercenaries and the militia counting on your aid, you can influence the outcome of this situation as you see fit.

Mandalore: Watch out for Azkul. I've known his kind before. He will attack you without hesitation if he believes you aren't working with him.
Mira: That man is an ice cold killer. I wouldn't trust him if I were you.
Handmaiden: I hope you aren't intending to support that monster. They will slaughter the citizens of Khoonda!
1. Of course I intend to support Khoonda. 2. I will support the mercenaries whether you like it or not. 3. When I want your advice I'll ask for it.
Handmaiden: Then I am glad, but I still disapprove of your actions. Using the tools of deception and manipulation will lead to you the dark side.

If you return:

Azkul: Are you ready? I won't wait long for you.
Dialog
1. I've already finished some of the tasks you asked me to do.
Azkul: Fine. What are you expecting, a reward? You'll get your payment when you see the job through to the end. The only thing I'm interested in hearing from you is that you are ready for us to begin our assault.
3. What is it you want me to do again?
5. Why are you attacking Khoonda?
Azkul: You don't need to know. Suffice it to say, people much more powerful than you or I are paying a great deal of credits to have the job done.
6. Tell me about yourself.
Azkul: I'm not your friend, Jedi. If you're looking for stories, go read a datapad.
7. I've changed my mind. I won't help you. 8. I'll be going now.
4. I want payment for helping you.
Azkul: You will be paid generously after you've done your part and we've taken Khoonda.

Ask Azkul to pay you now, and he leaves:

Impossible 1. [Force Persuade] You will pay me now. 2. Pay me now, or die!
Azkul: [Failure] Is that supposed to convince me, Jedi? I was trained by the Sith. Your mind tricks won't work on me. Dark Side Points Gained: -2

Otherwise, if you started by telling him you're not interested, or later that you've changed your mind:

Azkul: You'd better reconsider. I can't have a Jedi interfering with my plans. There is a considerable bounty on your kind that I will collect on unless you're working for me.

If you don't ask him to forget what you said, or what he has in mind:

In any case, if you left Master Vrook back in the cave, or fought him and didn't get the datapad from the mercenary captain's remains afterwards:

Journal Entry Added Defense of Khoonda
You've learned that the mercenaries have entered into a secret alliance with the Exchange. They're planning an attack on Khoonda. All preparations have been made, they're just waiting for a signal. Undoubtedly your actions may have served as a catalyst.

Otherwise, if you want to let Azkul take Khoonda then when you're ready, save game: once the battle begins, the Sensor Search and Farm Equipment quests cannot be completed, and Adum Larp and Akkere will be gone. Azkul will take Khoonda swiftly regardless of anything you've done, but first it's worth returning to Terena Adare in Khoonda at the very least, since she'll give you a key allowing access to a Lab Station in the Medical Lab, and a Workbench in the Defense Droid Station, even after the battle.

2. Our assault is ready to begin. The fools and cowards of Khoonda won't know what hit them.
Azkul: You heard the Jedi. Move out men! Come on, Jedi. You're leading the first wave.

Khoonda[edit]

If you return to Khoonda and Terena Adare's Chamber, she is the first to speak unless you fought or left Master Vrook back in the cave:

Terena Adare: I see you have found the elusive Master Vrook. He's told me that his "rescue" complicated our situation to some degree. I can't say that I anticipated that. I thank you for finding him, though. Vrook has informed me that the mercenaries devised a plan of attack to annihilate Khoonda itself. I must ask for your aid again, Jedi. Zherron: You're just in time. Terena told me you've been searching for her "friend." Well, I'm going to have to ask you to put that on hold for now. As I've been telling Terena, I've just received solid proof that the mercenaries are planning to annihilate Khoonda. We need your help.
Dialog
Terena Adare: I've placed Zherron back in charge of Khoonda's defense. Right or wrong, Zherron is the best man to lead the militia in this crisis.
Terena Adare: Zherron says that even with a plan, the mercenaries have to gather their forces then coordinate their assault. So we still have time. I'm afraid the militia has not been adequately trained for the task that befalls them.
1. Who knows about the attack?
Terena Adare: Right now just us and the militia. I don't want to create a needless panic. But be assured I will make sure that all civilians are warned in time so they can get to safety. Though if we lose this battle, nowhere on Dantooine will be safe for settlers for long.
2. What can I do to help?
Terena Adare: Our militia is effective at peace-keeping but isn't prepared for a full-scale battle. If you can do anything to ready them for the reality of it, that would be helpful. Besides that, look around Khoonda and see what you can do to strengthen our defenses. I know that we don't have the perimeter turrets online, and that alone could make a significant difference. Zherron says there is a considerable chance they will breach Khoonda itself. Anything you can do to slow them down could turn the tide of battle.
3. Can you give me anything to help?
Terena Adare: I have instructed the militia and other Khoonda personnel that you are to be provided with anything that can be spared. Unfortunately, that isn't much.
4. I'll check out Khoonda's defenses then.
Terena Adare: Here is a master card key that will open all of the security doors inside Khoonda. Anything that might aid you in your task, please use.
Terena Adare: Soon all the civilians will be evacuated. So if you have any business with them, I suggest you take care of it. Whenever you are ready to finalize the defenses, talk with Zherron.

The Administrator is desperate for any aid you can give her against the upcoming mercenary attack. Anything you can do around Khoonda will be greatly appreciated.

Zherron now stands by her, on the right:

Zherron: I was right about you. You are trouble. But you might just be the right sort of trouble we need. The mercenaries aren't quick to mobilize. So you have time to do what you need. Or are you ready to finalize the defense plans?
Dialog
1. Any ideas on what I can do to help?
Zherron: We could use people handy with a blaster. Getting people to join the militia for a short stint would be good. We also got a lot of things that could use fixing. It isn't glamorous, but that type of work sometimes makes a load of difference. Just look around. Plenty to be done.
3. I'm not interested in fixing things.

Otherwise:

1. What kind of things need fixing? 2. Well what are they?
Zherron: Off the top of my head...
Zherron: The three turrets outside Khoonda are on the blink. They went haywire the other day and wounded some of my men, so we took them offline.
Zherron: The men who were wounded by the turrets are holed up in the med lab, but our medic droid is busted, so they're healing slowly.
Zherron: I've had some men lay traps around Khoonda, but nobody here really specializes in demolitions. I'm sure there are some gaps that could be filled.
Zherron: The side security door to Khoonda has been malfunctioning as long as I've been here. It may be best to just seal it off lockdown, so nobody gets through.
Zherron: We've got some broken Assault droids that have been collecting dust for the last five years. If they were working, it would help a lot with interior defense.
Zherron: If I had it my way, I'd recruit any citizen of Khoonda that can hold a blaster. But it's hard to convince peaceful farmers to fight, and maybe die, for a cause.
2. How much time do I have?
Zherron: I don't know for certain. It could be a day, or even a week. Depends on how good Azkul is at organizing his men. I'm guessing not so good.
3. What's involved with finalizing the defenses?
Zherron: Inspecting the perimeter, talking to the troops, and coming up with a battle plan. I've fought in a war or two, but I'm no general. In my experience people like you are better at strategy. You want a hand in making the plan, you got it.
5. I've done some things around Khoonda to help with its defense.
Zherron: That's good to hear. Fill me in on the details when you're ready to finalize our battle plans.
1. I want payment for my services.
Zherron: I'm sure Terena will be more than happy to pay you once the mercenary threat is resolved.
6. I'm going to see what I can do.
Zherron: When you're ready, come back and we can talk about the final plans to defend Khoonda.

When you're ready, save game: once the battle begins, the Sensor Search and Farm Equipment quests cannot be completed, the Cave Crawling and Ghosts to Rest quests can only be completed if you don't let Azkul take Khoonda, Adum Larp will be gone and so will Akkere if he doesn't survive.

4. I'm ready to finalize the battle plans.
Zherron: You sure? Once we're done with that, there may not be any time left before the mercenaries attack.
1. I'm certain. I've done all I can. 2. On second thought...
Zherron: All right, then we've got a lot to do. Zherron: That's fine. Better take care of anything you need to first.

Master Vrook stands to the left of Terena Adare, unless you fought him back in the cave:

Master Vrook: You heard what the Administrator said, each of us has to do what they can to aid in the defense of Khoonda. See where you can lend a hand. We'll have time to talk more when this is all over.

A militia member still flanks her to the right, but now only says the following within Khoonda:

We've been told to provide you with anything you need. But we have to keep the news of the mercenaries' plans quiet for now to avoid panic.

If you speak to Berun Modrul, standing on the corner at the left end of Khoonda's bottom corridor:

Zherron was right about the mercenaries all along. I guess my ego clouded my judgement as to what's best for Khoonda.

Khoonda: Traps[edit]

If you weren't lying to Azkul in the Khoonda Plains when you said you'd help him:

Azkul, the mercenary leader, asked you to defuse the traps that the militia has set around Khoonda.

Regardless of how you left Azkul, when you approach Khoonda again you'll find a minefield has been set on its right side:

These mines are friendly but they can be recovered (but not disabled), or triggered with Disable or Destroy Droid. Another minefield has been set on Khoonda's left side, outside its main entrance:

Otherwise, if you returned to Terena Adare's chamber in Khoonda and asked Zherron what needed fixing:

Zherron suggested planting more traps outside the Khoonda outpost to help defend against the Mercenary attack. Plant the traps near where the other traps are set on the East and West sides of Khoonda.

If you set at least four more mines of any kind in each minefield:

If you finalized battle plans with Zherron back in Khoonda, then you wait outside its main entrance for Azkul's attack. If you rescued Master Vrook back in the cave:

Master Vrook: Since you are here to bolster Khoonda's defense, I will hurry to the mercenary camp and delay their assault however I can.
Zherron: I imagine that the mercenaries have got two goals in this whole thing. Kill me and kill the administrator. The rest of the settlers won't have courage to resist if they succeed.

3. There isn't anyone else that can rally the settlers?
Zherron: It's not that the settlers aren't good people. Many folk just don't have the fighting mentality. They'd rather just make people happy and get along. But there isn't any getting along with Azkul, he's out for blood and taking the place over. So we got to protect the Administrator. Khoonda can go on without me, but not without her.
1. Go on. 2. So what's the plan? 3. There isn't anyone else that can rally the settlers?
Zherron: The Administrator's locked up in her office tight. Which means that the mercs have to go through us and Khoonda's defenses. Thanks to you, they're gonna have a tougher job. That's about it. Now we just need to dig in and wait for the mercs to come.

Zherron: You're much better with words than me. I think it'll really help.
Persuade 3. [Persuade (5)] Warn them not to get killed.

1. I'm really not good at this. But the one thing I've learned is... just don't get shot. Uh... that's it, really.
Zherron: I was expecting something more, but you did better than I ever have. You reminded me of my instructor in the Mandalorian Wars.
4. [Persuade/Intimidate] Tell them they're doomed.

1. Nothing hurts more than a blaster shot to the groin. If you've never been shot, there are no words to describe how much pain you're going to feel...
1. ... and there are many other ways you can get maimed and seriously injured. I expect most of us are going to die today, so you might want to think about all the things you care about. It won't matter soon. Uh... That's it, really.
Zherron: I'm no speaker... But I don't think that helped much. That's the way the militia acts every time I give a speech, too.
Zherron: Let's get ready for the mercenaries. If we fall here, all of Dantooine falls with us.

After the battle in the plains, you confront Azkul outside Terena Adare's Chamber. Azkul stands in the top half of the corridor with three mercenaries, while Dopak stands in the bottom half with three more:

Azkul: So, Jedi. I take it you are responsible for the surprises we've had during this battle. Stand aside. Our quarrel is with the distinguished Administrator. This isn't your problem.
Impossible 1. [Force Persuade] You don't want to fight. Throw down your weapons.
Dialog
Azkul: [Failure] Is that supposed to convince me, Jedi? I was trained by the Sith. My unit killed many Jedi. I'll give you one last chance. Leave the Administrator to her fate.
4. Why do you want her dead?
Azkul: She's inconvenient and doesn't know the chain of command. She will pay for that.
5. Give me a reason to get out of your way.
Azkul: We could kill you. But I think you'd slaughter at least four of my men. Recruitment fees are 250 credits per man. So 1000 credits for us to avoid the hassle of replacing those men. Do we have a deal?
2. 4 of your men? That's an insult.
Azkul: You look capable for a Jedi. Fine. A full squad of eight, then. 2000 credits.

You can stand aside:

6. She means nothing to me. Go ahead and kill her. 3. 1000 credits works for me. 3. You can live for 2000 credits.

Azkul: That isn't a possibility. This is going nowhere. You could've lived. Azkul: This is going nowhere. You could've lived. Azkul: That was my final offer, Jedi. Let's see the value of your boasts.
Azkul: I was trained at Malak's academy. Your tricks won't work on me. You're just another dead Jedi to me.

If you persuaded Zherron to trust you after telling him Berun asked you to investigate him, before speaking to the mercenary captain back in the cave, then gave Zherron's message to Dopak before the battle began:

Dopak: I didn't sign on for this cold-blooded slaughter, Azkul.
Azkul: I was wondering when you would betray me, Dopak. I'll send your final wages to your children, along with a detonator.

Dopak is now with you. If you rescued Master Vrook back in the cave, then he returns:

Master Vrook: Sorry I was held up. But it looks like I've arrived in time to pull you out of your predicament.
Azkul: Kill them all.

Aside from your party, your remaining allies are Berun Modrul at the bottom of the corridor, the four wounded militia soldiers from the Medical Lab (even if they were immobilized, although they'll only have 50% Vitality if they weren't healed), any reactivated defense droids at the top of the corridor (which still target hostiles, even if reprogrammed to defend them), and any recruits (a friendly mercenary is also added for each recruit).

Master Vrook and Jorran cannot be killed, and any defense droids have Damage Resistance: Resist 15/- vs. Bludgeoning, Piercing and Slashing, and a Droid Unity Grid if you activated shields. If Akkere is killed, then you won't find thorium charges on his remains.

None of your party engage, even if present. Master Vrook rarely if ever uses his Force powers, and starts with the joint highest Defense in the game (your level + 23). Once he's been reduced to less than 50% Vitality, if you are a Jedi Consular, Jedi Master or Sith Lord then you learn the Force form he's using, otherwise you learn the lightsaber form he's using (which can give him the highest Defense in the game if it grants a net Defense bonus):

Kreia: Note the strength of his Force powers. He is desperate to finish you quickly, so he uses a potent form of the Force. Defeat him by going on the defensive and absorbing his attacks with the Force. He will quickly run out of energy and then you can finish him easily. Kreia: He is being typically cautious. He isn't sure of your strengths and weaknesses, so he is using a force form that grants him greater affinity to the Force. This allows him to more quickly regenerate his energies. Don't be drawn into a long battle. Once you understand his technique, attack him aggressively while he dawdles. Kreia: He may appear stronger in the Force than you, but this is merely an illusion granted by a certain mastery of the Force. The powers he uses against you will not directly harm you, but he seeks to weaken and confound you. Exploit the weakness of his form by using your own Force powers against him.
Kreia: He is overconfident. Observe how he handles his lightsaber. He is using Ataru, an aggressive form, best suited for single opponents. You can easily defeat him by encircling him with your companions or by using blaster fire. Be wary of his Power Attack, however, as it is further enhanced using this form. Kreia: You have him on the defensive. He uses the Shien form. Study his movements carefully and try to emulate them. This form will be useful when you face multiple opponents or ranged attack. Shien also allows you to make more devastating critical attacks. Kreia: It would serve you well to assimilate the style this Jedi is demonstrating. It is called Niman, and it is a very balanced form. Niman offers none of the specific strengths of other forms, but neither does it have their weaknesses. Kreia: Predictably, he seeks to unbalance you with his erratic attacks. His technique is called Juyo, the most chaotic of the lightsaber forms. This form sacrifices much to bolster offense, leaving one exposed to attack by the Force. He has made a grave error in assuming you lack the power to harm him with the Force.

Master Vrook notices:

Master Vrook: Are you arrogant enough to think you can divide your attention while fighting me?
1. I am studying your technique. 2. One can learn much simply from observing their opponent. 3. Your form is about as subtle as a charging boma. I will show you how it is done.
Master Vrook: You think you can learn my technique just by watching me? It takes a Jedi Master years to perfect it.
1. Nevertheless, I have learned your form, and I will use it to kill you and the rest of the Jedi. 2. It takes years for Jedi to learn anything, restrained as they are by the Jedi Code.
Master Vrook: It's not possible. You... you must be stopped.

Master Vrook starts using Master Heal, healing 70 Vitality per use at level 24. Once he's defeated (for which you receive no experience), you subconsciously drain Force power from him:

Kreia: It is something the Sith, the assassins that stalk us, can do- it is of the dark side, the ability to feed on life, the Force, the closer one comes to it. It makes them stronger - for a time.

Kreia: Not all techniques in the Force are learned through practice and training - this is something instinctual, born from experience. It is a way that they fill the hollow places where the Force used to be.

Master Vrook: There was little could be done about the Administrator's death. Jedi can turn the tide of a battle, but we were never meant to fight a war by ourselves. The Dantooine settlers will have to find new strength amongst them, otherwise... Otherwise who knows how long they'll last.
Master Vrook: In any case, I am free to talk about whatever you wish.

Master Vrook: That was intended only for the Jedi Council. If what remains of the Council chooses to tell you, then I will abide by their decision... and its consequences.

Master Vrook: [Success] There is little I can tell you. Master Kavar felt something had happened to you in the war, but all he had were suspicions, not truths. And Kavar was too close to you in any event - he, too, felt the call of war and took to battle more than a Jedi should. His speculations would not help you now. But enough of this - it is knowledge for the Council alone until they choose to reveal it. Master Vrook: [Failure] Are you listening? I can't tell you more. The knowledge would not help you anyway.
3. I want to talk about something else. Master Vrook: You have more questions for me?
1. Where are all the Jedi?

Master Vrook: There are a few of us left. But I do not even know if the others still live... we may be the last. We have been forced to divide our forces and retreat to places which will be difficult for our enemies to detect - and attack.
1. Where are these other Jedi?
Master Vrook: We have chosen to hide our presences from each other, so that the discovery of one will not endanger the others.
1. But how can you contact each other? 2. There must be a way to assemble all the Jedi.
Master Vrook: We cannot. And we have resolved not to until we have found where the Sith are striking from. But even as our numbers thin, there is still no trace of them. We had hoped to outmaneuver them. By letting them believe themselves victorious, we thought they would become bold and step from the shadows.
1. And what then?
Master Vrook: Then, all of us who remained vowed to meet here on Dantooine. From here, we can plan a course of action and carry the battle to them.But so far, they remain in hiding. And Jedi continue to vanish - and die.
2. What happened to the Jedi?

Master Vrook: We are at war, but it is unlike any war we have fought before - we have yet to even meet our attackers in battle. Somehow, our enemy is targeting us through the Force, striking, then retreating to the shadows. The gathering of any Jedi seems to attract them like a beacon. So it was necessary to divide our forces and conceal ourselves for a time until we could learn more of this threat.
1. Why did you come to Dantooine?
Master Vrook: Great tragedies, old battlegrounds... places of suffering, all leave wounds on the galaxy and in the Force. In such places, the deaths of so many echo, so much so that it is difficult to center oneself. By coming here, those echoes served to mask my presence, allowing me to investigate the ruins and try to find some clues as to who our attackers are.
2. Is this why the Jedi are not gathered together? 3. Like on Katarr? 3. But if you can mask your presence here, couldn't the other Jedi?
Master Vrook: Yes... the Miraluka world of Katarr taught us that. Many Jedi gathered there, in an attempt to use the Force to find the location of the enemy. Master Vrook: How did you know of Katarr? Master Vrook: Now the planet is no more. Master Zhar... Master Dorak... and many more perished there, and we do not know why or how. But all life on the planet ceased to exist. I was not on Katarr when it was destroyed. But now that it is dead, it has left its echo, like Dantooine. It was after Katarr that the few of us left realized that wherever we gathered, we were placing others in danger - not just Jedi.
3. Why are you in hiding?

Master Vrook: We were not in hiding, despite what you believe. This threat is striking through the Force. There is a reason that we cannot detect it - it is somehow masking its presence from us.
1. How is that possible?
Master Vrook: I do not know. There are techniques in the Force that hide one's presence and thoughts from other Force users. But I do not believe that such techniques alone would be capable of hiding the enemies we face - it does not seem possible.
2. So why are you here?
Master Vrook: Jedi sanctuaries, places of learning, conclaves - many of them secret, have been attacked. That requires that our enemy knew of our whereabouts - or had access to records and holocrons from the Enclave here on Dantooine.

Master Vrook: There was much Jedi teaching buried here before the planet was attacked. In the hands of our enemies, such knowledge could be used to track and kill Jedi, find other Enclaves, gathering places. And so much has been plundered from here, that now many secrets of the Jedi have been spread throughout the galaxy. So I did what I could, attempting to let myself be captured. I hoped that it would lead me to the Sith, and the stolen artifacts.
1. Did you find any presence of the Sith on Dantooine?
Master Vrook: The Sith attacked this place once, and only they would seek the death of the Jedi with such obsession - and be able to be as successful as they have. But the destruction of Dantooine - it is difficult to sense the presence of any Force users here. If any Sith are here, I cannot detect them.
Awareness 1. [Awareness (12)] But that is not the only reason you came to Dantooine.
Master Vrook: Yes... perhaps I wished to see this place one more time - it has changed much, as I knew it had. But I had to see it for myself.
4. I need to know why you cast me out of the Order.

Master Vrook: Because you defied the Council and followed Revan to war. And from that war, came another. Do you know how many worlds were destroyed in those wars - Dantooine? Telos? Serroco? Do you see now why we counseled caution, instead of action? You were the only one to come back and face judgment. But that was because you had lost your connection to the Force - another casualty of war. No doubt you still blame us for your exile - I had hoped your isolation would give you time to reflect on what had happened, what you had done. But I see it has not.
5. Why did you cut me off from the Force?

Master Vrook: We did nothing to you. Accuse us if you will, but it will not change the truth. Cutting one off from the Force - such punishments are reserved for only a few. Although it was within our power, we did not inflict such a loss upon you. Your loss was a casualty of war, no more.

Master Vrook: Perhaps that is a question you should ask yourself. It is not something I could help you with, even if I wanted to.

Master Vrook: Perhaps it is Dantooine, but I do not feel such from you - I feel nothing but what I felt in the Council judgment chamber on Coruscant, so long ago. Still, you and your... connections were often a subject of debate in the Council. It is possible that returning to known space, journeying with others, has caused the Force to stir within you again.
7. Do you know anything of Force Bonds... and how to end them?

Master Vrook: Force Bonds? Yes... it is the bond that grows between Master and student. Are you saying you have bonded with another?
1. Yes, and the connection is lethal.
Master Vrook: Such bonds normally grant strength to both - but not to such a degree. Are you certain? Perhaps it is merely what you believe. Still... your ability to form such connections, to influence others, was always a subject of discussion, even when you were a student here. Perhaps it is a punishment of a sort. But a bond that ties two lives together... such bonds do not seem natural to me. And with your loss of connection to the Force, it seems such a connection would be impossible.
8. The Sith have revealed themselves.

Master Vrook: Have they? I have seen no evidence of them upon Dantooine - only murderers and raiders.
1. They exist. They have already attacked me.
Master Vrook: Why would they attack you? You are no Jedi - you cannot feel the Force.

Master Vrook: For some reason, I believe you. Still - I am curious as to how they would know to find you. Your trial was not public knowledge. Regardless, these Sith have struck, and you survived - this is more knowledge than I had before. And that means the Jedi may gather. If you can find others - or find some trace of this Sith threat, then we shall gather here on Dantooine. And from there, we may decide what can be done.

Master Vrook: Using the Force as a weapon is a sticky issue. Many Jedi feel it leads to the dark side. My experience has taught me that it's lack of discipline that leads a Jedi astray. Use this form with proper restraint and it will enhance the potency of your Force attacks. However, if you are reckless with this form, you will quickly drain your Force energy. Master Vrook: When you are facing a long campaign, you need to be more conservative with how you use your Force energy. This form gives you increased Force affinity. In simple terms, it helps you to quickly regenerate Force energy in the middle of a fight. Master Vrook: You may lack the discipline for this, but I will attempt to teach you anyway. This form is considered the pinnacle of Force Mastery. Now watch carefully. This subtle technique enhances the duration of many Force powers at your disposal. However, the focus required for this form, can drain your energy quickly and leave you vulnerable to Force attack.
Master Vrook: Now watch and learn. This form is Ataru. Because it is such an aggressive fighting style, you should only use it against single opponents. And don't try using this form amidst heavy fire. Nothing is more embarrassing for a Jedi than to be cut down by a stray blaster shot. Master Vrook: I'm only going to demonstrate this once. This is the Shien form, a defensive stance that's good when you're outnumbered - which is most of the time. This form will increase your ability to deflect blaster fire and it increases the odds of dealing critical strikes against your attackers. Master Vrook: I'm not sure if this lesson will be to your liking. This is Niman, a lightsaber form of balance, which contradicts the recklessness that you have so often exhibited. Using this technique provides no particular strengths, but also lacks the weaknesses of some of the more aggressive forms. Master Vrook: I hesitate to teach this to you, because of your demonstrated recklessness... This is Juyo, a very ferocious form of lightsaber offense. It goes without saying to exercise proper control and restraint when using this technique. It may allow you to eviscerate a lone enemy, but it will leave you open to attack by force powers.
Master Vrook: Hmmm... I don't know how you learned that so quickly. Still, your form is sloppy. Keep practicing to tighten it up, and you'll be fine.
