Airlock to Fuel Depot[edit | edit source]

The fuel depot's Airlock to Exterior of Asteroid is at the top right end of the external scaffolding along the bottom edge of the Peragus mining facility. If you try to return through the airlock door behind you:

The airlock door has sealed and locked behind you.

The walkway to the next airlock curves to the left. As it ramps upward there are two vents in the asteroid to your right, one level with the ramp and the other below but pointing upward: when venting fuel, each can inflict 10-20 fire damage on first contact, and every six seconds thereafter. You can avoid damage by waiting for a break in the venting before passing, or simply by hugging the outside edge of the walkway to your left. Otherwise, a Miner Uniform upgraded with an Environment Underlay Mark I can reduce damage, but if you open the Equip screen and try to use a Telos Mining Shield now:

You cannot equip or use any items while wearing an enviro-suit.

You also cannot use Force powers, although a shield or Energy Resistance used back in the fuel depot before exiting the airlock may last long enough to have an effect here.

Beyond the vents, the ramp upward doubles back to the right, then left again onto a long but level section curving around the bottom perimeter of the administration level.

Communications Blister[edit | edit source]

The walkway between the two airlocks passes below the windows of the adminstration level's communication blister, through which you can see Atton by the administration computer, on your right. As you pass the halfway point, he uses the comlink:

Atton: It's about time. I lost your signal after you left the mining tunnels. Now you're coming in clear.
Dialog
Atton: ...except I'm picking you up on the exterior of the facility, on the asteroid's surface. That can't be right.
1. I'm right outside the observation window. 2. Your readings are correct. Anything to report? 3. Really? Maybe you should look up.
Atton: Huh? What are you doing out there?
1. I need to reach the miners in the dormitory section, and this is the only way to get there. 3. I'm just taking a relaxing walk. 2. Why don't you make yourself useful and shut down the venting systems before I'm burned alive?
Atton: You're crazy. Even for a Jedi. Look, you need to get out of there... quick.
1. What do you mean? 2. Something wrong? 3. I'm trying to pick up the pace, believe me. Atton: That's what I wanted to tell you - the few remaining venting systems have gone active, most likely from the explosions in the mining tunnels.
Atton: What little is left of the facility's venting systems have gone active, most likely from the explosions in the mining tunnels.
Atton: They're venting Peragus fuel deposits into space through the exterior vents - right in your path.
1. Can't you shut them down? 2. Looks like I'll have to hurry, then. 3. Why are the vents placed so close to the exterior scaffolding?
Atton: I can't - I'm locked out of the main systems here, I couldn't shut it down if I tried. Atton: That's just it - they're not supposed to be active when the airlock's opened - and not without the safety measures kicking in.
Atton: The vents look like they've been purposely rerouted to vent the gases to the exterior, and only in the last few minutes. It's almost as if...

Recover Ebon Hawk[edit | edit source]

The administration computer beeps, interrupting Atton:

Atton: Oh, what now?!
Atton: I don't believe this - there's a ship coming in, sending a docking code.
Atton: I have a bad feeling about this.

The Republic ship exits hyperspace. Aboard, the bridge is littered with corpses, where a lone, badly scarred figure kneels in meditation...

You watch the Republic ship approach the mining facility, unaware of what's on board.

This ship approaches the docking tunnel ahead of you, and a fuel line extends toward it behind you.

Journal Entry Added Recover Ebon Hawk
Although the HK protocol droid told you to see if you can find the administration officer in the dormitory to see if he has the access codes, a Republic ship has docked with the mining facility. It is possible that you could use the fuel connection line to bypass the force field in the fuel depot and enter the hangar from another direction, bypassing the force field entirely.

Airlock to Dormitories[edit | edit source]

At the left end of the walkway it ramps downward, doubling back to the right, then left again past another two vents in the asteroid to your right, one level with the ramp and the other below but pointing upward: when venting fuel, each can inflict 10-20 fire damage on first contact, and every six seconds thereafter. Once again you can avoid damage by waiting for a break in the venting before passing, or simply by hugging the outside edge of the walkway to your left.

Beyond the vents, the walkway ends at the airlock outer door to the dormitories.
