Merchant Quarter[edit | edit source]

As you go along the street linking the merchant quarter to the western square, you're confronted by a Rodian mercenary leading a group of six thugs (three melee, three ranged) and two thug grenadiers:

Rodian Mercenary: We don't get too many shuttles coming to Iziz any more. Especially shuttles without passengers. A good friend works at the starport and noticed this. Rodian Mercenary: You should really be more careful how you answer questions. A good friend overheard your conversation at the starport with the checkpoint guard. A curious conversation.
Rodian Mercenary: It raised some questions. Questions I've answered. So you are Name. Last of a dying breed, they say. Too difficult to fight alone, they say. So meet some of my new employees. The bounty on your head will make me, and my men, extremely wealthy. This is my lucky day.

None of their weapons have any On Hit property.

West Square[edit | edit source]

There's a beast-rider thug standing alone on the bottom side of the street as you approach the bottom right corner of the west square. If you speak to him, or any of the others in the square:

A lot of credits to be made around here lately, if you have the right skills.

There's a garbage pile on the top street corner as you enter the square, with a broken droid lying to the right:

This is a pile of trash. Some of it looks like it comes from the local cantina. [There are some remnants of a droid here.]

Another beast-rider thug stands in the bottom left corner of the street, with two thugs standing below him. If you speak to one of the thugs, or any of the others in the square:

Some of those alien thugs had a go at you, right? I... um... I don't want to cross you.

There are a couple of commoners in the square:

Have any work that needs to be done?

There's a salvager searching garbarge piles in the middle of the square, and another by its left wall:

Heard of any good finds?

Another beast-rider thug stands in the bottom left corner of the square.

1B-8D[edit | edit source]

The droid merchant 1B-8D stands in the top right corner of the west square, above a beast-rider thug and two other thugs standing by a speeder. Since 1B-8D is a merchant, save game before speaking as most of the inventory is selected the first time you do so.

Doctor's Alibi[edit | edit source]

When you first approach Dhagon's Office in the top left corner of the west square, Mandalore speaks and then the thug standing to the right of its door asks you a question:

Mandalore: This is Dhagon Ghent's place. He's not the best doctor you'll ever meet, but he's well connected in this city. Doesn't look like he's here right now, though.
Thug: You looking for Dhagon? You're not going to find him here.
Dialog
1. Where is he?
Thug: A soldier captain was murdered at the cantina real good. They got some suspects at the tower. From what I hear, Dhagon Ghent is one of them.
2. Do you think Dhagon did it?
Thug: Like I would know. Iziz is a crazy place right now.
1. What tower?
Thug: It's the turret tower on the other side of the market. Captain Riiken is the man to talk to.
1. Thanks for the information.
Thug: If you talk to him, tell him I got his twenty credits.
Journal Entry Added A Doctor's Alibi
You've discovered that Dhagon Gent, Mandalore's contact on Iziz, has been picked up for questioning involving a murder at the local cantina. You should talk with Captain Riiken at the Merchant Square's turret tower for more information.

The thug leaves for the Cantina. As you approach the street back to the merchant quarter, you get a Precognition of the Twi'lek bounty hunter and four Aqualish and Rodian thugs waiting around the corner. As you approach them, three more Rodian thugs appear behind you:

Twi'lek Bounty Hunter: Ah, I thought it was you. Name, captain of the Ebon Hawk, is it not?
Mira: Back off, wormhead, this bounty's mine. Don't do something you might regret. There's soldiers all over this place. Twi'lek Bounty Hunter: Imagine what the soldiers would do to you if they knew you were wandering their streets. You're a wanted criminal now.
Twi'lek Bounty Hunter: Ah, Mira. I thought you were still collecting two credit bounties on Nar Shaddaa. Such a shame to die here, so far from your home... and with a wanted criminal.
2. Enough pleasantries. You came here for a fight. You've got one. 3. I'm not going to let you insult my companion. 4. If you're threatening me, prepare to die.
Influence Gained: Mira (+8)
Twi'lek Bounty Hunter: I'd take you alive, but I doubt I could keep a Jedi from escaping. Dead will have to do.

Otherwise:

1. Wanted criminal? 1. How do you know me? 2. And what if I am?
Twi'lek Bounty Hunter: The Exchange has quite a bounty on you. Your head's worth many credits... as long as it's recognizable.

If G0-T0 isn't in your party:

Twi'lek Bounty Hunter: I'd take you alive, but I doubt I could keep a Jedi from escaping. Dead will have to do.

Otherwise:

G0-T0: The bounty on this Jedi has been rescinded, by the order of Goto. If you attempt to carry out this bounty, then the next bounty shall be placed on your head.
Twi'lek Bounty Hunter: Those are brave words from a droid... but perhaps you speak truthfully. Very well, Jedi. You may walk Iziz unharmed. I apologize for interrupting your journey.
1. No harm done. I'll be going now. 2. Just stay out of my way. 3. You're not walking away that easily. Get ready to die.

I can't believe we came all the way here for nothing. I'm never trusting a twi'lek again.

You can change your mind about letting them live:

Twi'lek Bounty Hunter: Again, I ask your forgiveness for interrupting your journey, Jedi.
1. No problem. See you around. 2. I changed my mind about letting you live. 3. I'll be going now.

When you return to the merchant quarter, Colonel Tobin is reporting to General Vaklu:

Colonel Tobin: General, we have found them again!
Dialog
General Vaklu: Have we, Tobin? Or is this a preface to another of your failures? Consider the whole field, Tobin. Why would a Jedi risk all of this just to come to Iziz?
Colonel Tobin: The crew of the Ebon Hawk is elusive, General. We were warned about that, but we still underestimated them. But the fools are here... in Iziz. The intel on this is certain. I'm ordering men loyal to us to take care of them now.
General Vaklu: Hmmm... I have an idea. Belay that order. Have her watched, instead. General Vaklu: Hmmm... I think I have an idea. Hold that order. Have him watched, instead.
General Vaklu: The Jedi may prove a solution to another one of our persistent problems.

If you speak to Onderon soldiers in the merchant quarter, some can comment on the fighting in the western square:

Trouble seems to follow you, off-worlder.

If you speak to any Iziz citizens in the merchant quarter:

I heard a lot of bodies were found over in the Western Square. The gangs must be at war now.
I heard a whole bunch of bounty hunters got killed in the Western Square. Maybe the beast rider gangs finally did something useful.

If you speak to the dock worker back in the Iziz Spaceport:

I hear that there was some sort of Sith Lord in the Western Square killing people with his mind.

Captain Riiken stands at the base of the Turret Tower in the bottom right of the merchant quarter, on the inside left corner of the street:

1. Do you have a man named Dhagon Ghent in custody?
Dialog
Captain Riiken: We certainly do. He and several other people were picked up in connection to a murder.
2. Can I ask about something else?
Captain Riiken: What else do you want to know about?

Otherwise:

1. Who got murdered?
Captain Riiken: Captain Sullio. She was in charge of the Starport checkpoint. A good soldier. Your friend was one of the last people that saw her alive. So far he's just a suspect. But if he did it... the punishment is death.
Mandalore: Dhagon Ghent is the only person I know with the contacts to help us out. We need to get Dhagon out of custody.
1. How long is Dhagon going to be questioned?
Captain Riiken: Until we either eliminate him as a suspect or find the real killer. Dhagon has quite a record with the authorities. The Colonel thinks that murder isn't too far a stretch for someone like him.
1. Can I see him?
Captain Riiken: No way. We're under orders to make sure no one sees the murder suspects. Command is taking this very seriously.
2. How can I eliminate him as a suspect?
Captain Riiken: I know Dhagon personally. He's one of the worst doctors I've ever heard of. But I can't see him deliberately killing someone. He was one of the last people seen with Captain Sullio in the cantina. Ask around there. I've heard he's got a good motive for killing her. If you can somehow clear that up and prove it wasn't him, command will cut him loose. If I say any more I'll get in trouble.
Journal Entry Added A Doctor's Alibi
Captain Riiken says that Dhagon Gent was picked up, along with several other suspects, in regard to a murder of an Onderonian soldier named Sullio. Riiken says that Dhagon had a motive for committing the murder and he was also found at the scene of the crime. In order to get him free you'll need to investigate the crime at the cantina near Dhagon's office. Finding out about his apparent motive for the murder would be a good first step.

Master of the Palace[edit | edit source]

Journal Entry Added Master of the Palace
All access to the Royal Palace and the Jedi Master is restricted. Dhagon Gent may provide your only chance to get in, and he's been arrested for the murder of an Onderon soldier.

On your way back to the Iziz Cantina in the western square, if you can speak to Anda in the top left quarter of the market square then you can ask the following (after asking what this is about, how can you help or if she could go over what she wants again):

3. Do you have any involvement with Captain Sullio's death?
Anda: Why would you think that? Does it matter? Her next in command, Gelesi, is just as loyal to the Queen unfortunately.

Cantina[edit | edit source]

The Iziz door to the cantina is in the bottom wall of the west square. If you approach the door, or speak to the Aqualish cantina bouncer standing by it on the right:

Cantina Bouncer: If you come inside, you no make problem. Many problem recently, me make sure there are no more. So many problems, Bith hire me. So go in and drink, but no fight or kill.
