Residential Module 082 East[edit | edit source]

You enter from Residential 082 East on the bottom left side of Bumani Exchange Corp. Reception has a dividing wall in the middle of it, with a door in its top wall and Vula, the receptionist, standing behind a desk to the left:

Vula: I'm terribly sorry, but there must be some sort of mistake. I don't have a record of your appointment - are you certain it was for today?
Low (Affect Mind) 1. [Force Persuade] There's no mistake. You'll open the door. Persuade 2. [Persuade (9)] Of course. Why else would I have been sent in? Perhaps the mistake is in the system.
Dialog
Vula: [Success] You know what? There must be a mistake in the system. Why don't I open that door for you. What was your name? Vula: [Success] Well, if... very well. What was your name?
1. Name.
Vula: Excuse me. Loppak Slusk's appointment has arrived. Please open the inner door. There you are. Have a good day!
Vula: Loppak Slusk should be waiting within. Have a good day!

The door is opened, and the three Gamorrean guards and their boss on the other side aren't hostile:

[The Gamorrean ignores you. He might not even speak Basic.]

They leave just before you encounter Benok. Otherwise, the door is opened but the Gamorreans are hostile:

Vula: [Failure] Oh... of course... 3. I didn't have an appointment. 4. Just open that door and get out of my way.
Vula: No appointment? Then how did- Why did- oh! Vula: Oh... of course...
Vula: Let me, ah, open the door for you, ah, right away... There's a package here for pickup. There you are. Have a good day!

If you speak to Vula again:

Vula: Please don't kill me! I'm only doing my job!
3. Get out of here and I won't kill you. 4. Fine. But stay out of my way.

Otherwise, killing her is psychotic:

1. No one tries to play me for a fool and gets away with it. 2. You should have picked a safer line of work then.

Beyond the door in the Bumani Exchange Corp.'s bottom left corner is the bottom end of the holding cells. There are three force cages by the top left wall, with an Ithorian in the middle one:

Ithorian: Have you come to torment me, like the others?
Dialog
3. Why yes, yes I have. Ithorian: Please, just leave me be.

Otherwise:

1. No, why are you here? 2. [Lie] No, of course not.
Ithorian: Then perhaps you will free me? I was placed in here by two large Gamorreans, and I do not know the reason why. They have not fed me, and they will not allow me to return to my herd.
1. How do I set you free?
Ithorian: I am not sure. I think the force cage was operated remotely. There should be a security panel somewhere.
1. I'll see what I can do. 2. I'll be going now.

Benok[edit | edit source]

Beyond the door in the Bumani Exchange Corp.'s right wall is the top end of a corridor. When you open the door at its bottom end:

Loppak Slusk: You've got a lot of nerve coming here, Jedi, with the bounty we've got on your kind. What do you want?
Dialog
1. I'm not a Jedi. Loppak Slusk: Good - it'll be that much easier to kill you. You're marked, human. Whether you're actually Jedi or not means nothing to me.
1. Wait - aren't I worth more alive? Loppak Slusk: Yes, but I'm not a gambler. You're worth enough dead, and it's easier to ship Goto a corpse in a cargo container than a live prisoner.
3. It's not me that's going to get killed. Loppak Slusk: Yes, yes. Very melodramatic.

Otherwise:

2. I'm here representing Chodo Habat.
Loppak Slusk: You - what? I gave very specific instructions regarding that hammerhead and any of his cronies. Who let this idiot in? Matu, bring me whoever's working the door. Nahata, tell Chodo if he sends anyone else, we'll come after him. And Benok... Dust this foolish Jedi.

There's also a door in the bottom right corner of the room where you encounter Benok:

The next room contains two Gamorrean guards, with a boss to the right of the door in the top wall, which is locked:

Gamorrean Boss: Luxa said you were strong. I will get you inside. We will see how strong you are!
Gamorrean Boss: Boss! Matu is here with Koobis, from the door. You want to see him now? Yes, I will send him.

The Gamorreans leave before the door opens:

Loppak Slusk: What? Whoever let you get back here better be dead, or they'll be wishing they were when my droids are through with you.

Luxa enters with a Gamorrean boss and two guards:

Loppak Slusk: Ah, it seems we have some visitors. I was wondering when you'd show up, Luxa.
Luxa: Slusk.
Loppak Slusk: I assume this was all your doing?
Luxa: I may have had a hand in this, yes.
Loppak Slusk: I suppose I should have known. You always were an ambitious one. Enough with that, though. On to the business at hand. I don't think it's possible that all of us will be leaving this room alive.
1. Can't we talk about this, come to an agreement? 2. That's right, and I'm here to finish the job.
Loppak Slusk: Only if that agreement involves Luxa's... termination. Loppak Slusk: No, wait! Don't kill me. You can be my right hand, the position's just become available.

You can combat Luxa and her Gamorreans first, with Loppak Slusk's help:

4. I'm not looking for a fight. 1. That sounds like a good offer. You have a deal.
Luxa: I guess it's just like they say. If you want something done right, do it yourself.

Loppak Slusk: Thank you for your assistance. I had suspected Luxa for some time, but I thought I'd let her show her hand.
Dialog
1. I want the Exchange to stop meddling in the Ithorians' restoration effort.
Loppak Slusk: Why would I want to do that? The Ithorians are ruining my profits.
1. Because I asked you to?
Loppak Slusk: Come now, surely you can do better than that? The Exchange isn't trifled with lightly.
1. Better? Look around, you saw what I did here.
Loppak Slusk: I suppose you do make a bit of sense there. Fine, I will allow the Ithorians to do their business, but listen to me when I say this. The Exchange is not bullied. If you push, expect to be pushed back.
You're still here? I'll leave you to show yourself the exit, I don't think we have any more business to discuss.

However, you receive much more experience if you kill him instead:

2. Don't thank me, Slusk. You're next. 2. If you don't, you won't be alive to enjoy your profits.
Loppak Slusk: That's too bad. Hopefully Goto won't have a problem if there's a few holes in you. Loppak Slusk: I believe I'll choose to take my chances.

If you helped Luxa and her Gamorreans to kill Loppak Slusk, then you have to kill her now as well:

Luxa: Slusk's dead, but Goto's still my boss. I'm shipping you to Nar Shaddaa, "Jedi," dead or alive. If you don't want to defend yourself, that's your choice.

Otherwise:

2. The Exchange off Citadel Station, or you'll be joining Slusk soon. 3. One down, one Zeltron to go.
Luxa: Is that supposed to frighten me? Let me let you in on a little secret. Fried squid there isn't half the fighter I am.
Luxa: And if you think I'm going to let Jana Lorso push me around, you're sadly mistaken.
2. I need you out of the picture, and I hope we can settle it peacefully.
Luxa: Unfortunately, that's not an option. It's a shame, but I think you've outlived your usefulness.
Luxa: Sorry, handsome, but even the best relationships have to end sometime.

Otherwise, you can ask where's your ship before killing her:

If you kill both Luxa and Loppak:

Atton: Maybe Nar Shaddaa isn't such a good idea after all...
Dialog
1. Why do you say that? 2. Changed your mind, Atton? Atton: Did we just see what happened?
Atton: The Exchange is one of the most powerful groups on the Smuggler's Moon. If this Goto wants you so badly, it'd probably be a good idea not to show up on his doorstep, wouldn't you say? Not to mention, I'm sure Loppak Slusk has friends on Nar Shaddaa that won't be happy to hear he's gone.
1. We can't worry about that now. We need to get off this Station first. 2. Let's get out of here before someone comes to see what happened. 3. You're as much a part of this as I am.
Atton: Yeah, I just can't help getting into trouble when you're around.
Atton: Yeah, you're right. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

There's a footlocker on a table by the top left wall, and two plasteel cylinders by the bottom right wall:

There's also a security terminal to the right of the window in the top right wall. If you use it with Stealth mode active and Loppak Slusk is still alive and hostile:

Otherwise, you can use it to deactivate the Ithorian's force cage in the Holding Cells, setting him free (he simply leaves):

Terminal: [Success] Welcome, Loppak Slusk.

If you helped Luxa and her Gamorreans kill Loppak Slusk, then asked her where's your ship:

Luxa: Oh, I don't know - I never did. But you won't need it where you're going.

1. What are you talking about? 2. I think you might be overestimating your chances. 3. I don't want to fight you.
Luxa: When you've come as far as I've come in the Exchange, it isn't by overestimating your own abilities. Luxa: Slusk's dead, but Goto's still my boss. I'm shipping you to Nar Shaddaa, "Jedi," dead or alive. If you don't want to defend yourself, that's your choice.
