The scene opens with your character floating in a kolto tank, one of five occupying in a foreign room. As the camera zooms closer to your face, a voice goes through your head:

Kreia: :: Awaken. ::

The tank then begins to drain, you sinking with it, until your body slides into the middle of the floor. As monitors flicker on in a circle around you, you gain consciousness, lift your head, and stand up. With this, you gain control of your character for the first time and now truly begin playing the game.
