Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords/Trayus Academy

Darth Sion: So you have come to die, like the Jedi before you. This planet is a graveyard for your kind. She thinks you should be spared, but only so you might suffer. You will break. And when you do, you will die. Why she would bother with one such as you is something I will never understand.

Dialog

1. Where is Kreia, Sion?
Darth Sion: She awaits on the Trayus Core - the heart of this planet. But you will never reach her.

2. What is this place?
Darth Sion: It is ancient, a relic that survived the destruction of Malachor. It was always here, far before the Mandalorian Wars. It draws death and hate to it, channels it. Atrocities feed its power, and with its power, it creates hunger. Many Jedi have been consumed by it.
1. But where did it come from?
Darth Sion: It has been here for thousands of years. It is a place where the Sith teachings run strong... it is the threshold of the borders of an ancient empire. Kreia says it was a place of reflection for the ancient Sith... a gateway to their lands. It drew Lord Revan... and it calls to her as well. She said that the teachings here will lead one to the Sith... the true Sith... and all their shadowed worlds. This place led Revan to the graveyards of Korriban... and beyond.
1. Do you know what happened to Revan?
Darth Sion: It does not matter. The Lord Revan had the galaxy at his feet, could have made it strong, and he surrendered it to weakness. Like you, Revan touched power and turned away. The chance to heal this fractured galaxy, and he turned away. I was there when the Academy on Korriban fell... and the Sith turned on one another, like beasts. Our chance at an empire... destroyed by Revan.

4. Kreia values me as a teacher values her student.
Darth Sion: You know nothing of her teachings, nothing of pain. You saw Malachor V and turned away. You turned away from power. She is a fool to see greatness in that.

3. Your master is using you. She hopes I will kill you here, as a test of my strength.
Darth Sion: Then it shall be proof that you are not the one she seeks... and she shall accept my loyalty again.

Persuade < 17
1. [Persuade] She has already abandoned you, Sion. You know it.	2. [Persuade] You betrayed her once and failed. She has no use for you.
Darth Sion: [Failure] You are wrong. She respects power... I have come farther than any of her apprentices since Revan, and I am stronger for it.	Darth Sion: [Failure] My betrayal was another test. I have passed, and I have become stronger for it.

Otherwise you succeed in eroding his will, despite what he says:

Darth Sion: [Success] You... are wrong. I have come farther than any of her apprentices since Revan... even you... and I am stronger for it.
1. I can hear it in your voice - you know she is finished with you.	2. Join me, Sion. Together, we can defeat her.

However, eroding his will doesn't seem to actually affect him in any way, at any point:

Darth Sion: I am ready for you, exile. I have waited years to see the last of the Jedi fall before me. Only one may serve my Master.

Darth Sion: There is no life without the Force... the Force is a blade, without it, one is defenseless.
1. Yet I survived. And I am strong enough to face you now.	2. The Force is only a part of what life is, Sion. You feel it, but do not understand it.	3. If you are afraid to let go of power, then that is weakness.
Darth Sion: She sought you out because both of you were wounded by the Force - and because she had no choice. She would not willingly return to being the helpless woman she once was... nor would she wish that of her apprentice.	Darth Sion: The Force is pain. The Force is focus. The Force is that which drives the strong and kills the weak. I shall teach you this - and in so doing, spare you the pain that awaits.	Darth Sion: Those are the words of Jedi, Jedi who over thousands of years, have never turned from power, from inflicting their will on the galaxy. They know power. The only weakness is not seizing it when it lies before you.

5. Surrender now, Sion. I don't want to kill you.	6. Fight or die - but spare me the threats.
Darth Sion: You are the one who will fall. Die, Jedi.

Otherwise:

Darth Sion: You intend to make me doubt her... doubt myself. This is not a battle of words, exile. It is one of blood.

Darth Sion: [Success] There is truth in your words... but there is nothing left for me except my master.

Darth Sion: I fight because it is the power that the Force fills me with. To... survive, to inflict the pain on others. I can die a hundred times, exile, and still I will rise again, as strong as before.

Otherwise:

Persuade < 27	2. You're weakening, Sion, I can feel it. Even your control can't keep your body together.	4. This is the end for you, Sion. I swear it.
Darth Sion: [Failure] No. Even if she believes you the stronger, then I shall prove her wrong.	3. You only delay the inevitable, Sith Lord. Surrender, and I shall spare you.	5. I cannot be beaten - serve me, and I shall spare you.
Darth Sion: I... I still have the power to stop you. The Force runs strong through the screaming canyons of Malachor. I can die a hundred times, exile, and still I will rise again, as strong as before.

After his fourth, and final, defeat he drops to his knees:

Darth Sion: I will not fall. I cannot die.

Dialog

1. You have already been defeated, Sion. Surrender, and I will spare you.	2. Get up, Sith Lord, and I will prove to you that you can die.	3. You have fallen - and you are dead, you only must admit it.
Darth Sion: Why... why did she choose you? What makes you able to defeat me, defeat me here?
4. It is simple. As she did, I was forced to survive without the Force. That is what she respects.

Otherwise:

1. Because I was able to turn away from it. And you could not.	2. In giving up the Force, one can gain strengths that would be impossible otherwise.
Darth Sion: It is not possible to walk away from such things unscarred. To keep living when the universe dies around you.

3. The place is not what matters, it is the man.	1. It is difficult, yes. But in making such decisions is what strength is.	2. To face death and keep standing - it leaves scars, yes. But it leaves room to heal.	3. If that is what you believe, you lie to yourself.
Darth Sion: The Force is who I am - the dark side fills me. It is what I am.

1. And Kreia hates the Force, even as she wields it. If the Force is what you are, then that is what she despises.	2. The Force fills an empty, shattered shell. There is little left of the man you once were - you know this.	3. It is possible to live without the Force. And die without it.

Sion just looks at you.

1. It is the truth, Sion... you feel it. Let go. It is not such a terrible thing.	2. What kind of life have you lived with the Force flowing through you? Was it worth living?	3. I have beaten you. Admit it, finally, and surrender.
	Darth Sion: It... it was not. No matter how many I killed... there was no end to the pain... the blades the Force tore through my flesh.	Darth Sion: You... have defeated me... flesh and belief, both cast down.

Darth Sion: Kreia, she will try to break you, to teach you how far someone can fall.
Darth Sion: Her weakness... is you. As you were mine.	Darth Sion: Her weakness... is you. She has done all this... all of it... for you.
Darth Sion: I am glad to leave this place... at last.
