Recover Ebon Hawk

As you approach the loading ramp of the Ebon Hawk:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ebon Hawk: [This is the loading ramp to the Ebon Hawk. Once aboard, you'll be leaving the mining facility for good.]
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. [Enter the Ebon Hawk.] KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. [Step away from the loading ramp.]

Sith assault troopers enter the hangar once you enter the Ebon Hawk:

KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Quick! We're going to need some time to fire up the engines. Let's give the laser turret a workout.

If you don't kill them all before they can board:

KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: We've got company!
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. [The Sith have boarded the ship. Prepare to repel the boarders.]

Although there's a Steam achievement for killing them all before they can board, you should receive more experience for killing them once they've boarded.

*** (1-25) Sith assault troopers remain ***

You, Atton and T3-M4 start in the cockpit, and you're unable to change your party at this time.

KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: All right, let's get out of here!
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Kreia? Your hand - what happened? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. How did you survive? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Good thing you arrived now, or we would have left you.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: There is no time - we must leave. KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: I have no intention of being left behind. Now... let us leave.

As the Ebon Hawk leaves, it comes under fire from the hangar and the Harbinger. Stray shots cause asteroids to explode around you:

KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: If they hit us, we're dead! But if they keep missing us, we're dead! That's great odds.
KotORII Icon T3-M4.png T3-M4: Dwee-Dweeerrrr-bee-DEEEEET!
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Somebody shut that trash compactor up!
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Look, can you fly this thing or not?! KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Isn't there anything you can do? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Keep as much distance between them and us as you can.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: I'm doing all I can, and that's not enough. What did you do to make these guys so mad? Now either they hit us and destroy us, or they hit an asteroid and make the whole field go nova.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. Can we jump to hyperspace?
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Not with all these asteroids around us. We'd enter hyperspace in pieces. We have to clear that field first. Thing is, we clear the field, and they're going to have a clear shot at us.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 5. Fire on the asteroids - maybe the explosion will destroy them. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 6. Just do your best to keep your distance - we'll get out of this yet.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: What of the asteroids? They can be destroyed by us as well as them, can they not?
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: That'll take out the whole field, the colony, and maybe us. We might not even be able to jump to hyperspace in time.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Then we die here. Choose now.
KotORII Icon T3-M4.png T3-M4: Dwooooooo.
It Was Like That When I Got Here!
It Was Like That When I Got Here!
Destroyed Peragus Astroids
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. We don't have any choice. Do it!

Otherwise:

I Didn't Do It!
I Didn't Do It!
Let the Sith destroy the Peragus Asteroids
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. No - someone might still be alive in the facility. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. There's got to be another way. Keep evading them until we clear the field, and we'll try to jump to hyperspace.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Hold on! This is going to get a little rocky!

Peragus II is destroyed as the asteroid field explodes, and you escape by jumping to hyperspace.

Ebon Hawk

Everyone is now in the cockpit of the Ebon Hawk, where dialog ensues...

Recent History

KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Well, now that we just killed a planet, maybe one of you can tell me what's going on. Because between assassin droids, a Sith Lord that looks like he sleeps with vibroblades, and being target practice for a Republic warship, I was better off in my cell.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: The Republic warship was the Harbinger. It was seized on its way to Telos by the Sith - they sought you, Jedi.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. The Harbinger was on its way to Telos? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Why are these Sith looking for me? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. How do we stop them?
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Yes... to aid in the recovery effort there. Many roads lead to Telos - including ours.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Not like we have much of a choice, the Peragus astrogation charts being what they are.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: It is where we must go... and where the Harbinger was bound before our unfortunate encounter on Peragus.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. How did you know I was on board the Harbinger? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Care to explain how you tracked me down? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Looks like I didn't cover my tracks well.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: You were difficult to find, but... coincidence was on our side. When I learned that you were on the vessel, I knew the Sith would not be far behind. When we intercepted the Harbinger, it was crippled, drifting in space. It was a simple matter to board the vessel and rescue you. Unknown to me, however, the Sith were already on board. Just as we made the jump to hyperspace, they fired upon us, nearly destroying the Ebon Hawk.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. How come I don't remember any of this?
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Whatever occurred on board the Harbinger had rendered you unconscious. Though your thoughts were faint, I was still able to find you... sealed in one of the cargo holds.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. That's an unusual set of coincidences.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: True - but as one trained in the Force, you know that true coincidences are rare.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. How did we get to Peragus?
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: I do not know how the Ebon Hawk was able to make it to Pe-
KotORII Icon T3-M4.png T3-M4: Bee-deet! Beeee-wooop!
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Be silent! We're having a conversation here.
KotORII Icon T3-M4.png T3-M4: Bereeeedwooo, beee-de-deet. Deet.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. He says he repaired the ship and got us to Peragus. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. What part of 'silence' didn't you hear? Dark Side Points Gained: -1
3. Another beep outta you, and you're scrap.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Repaired this ship, my eye. Next thing you know it's going to claim credit for saving our skins. If that little noisemaker says it repaired the ship once, then it can prove it by doing it again. Go on, get! KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Maybe that droid noisemaker could make itself useful repairing the ship - for once.
KotORII Icon T3-M4.png T3-M4: Dwoooooo.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. So how come I don't remember you rescuing me?

Otherwise, you can ask why are these Sith looking for you:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. So why are these Sith looking for me?
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Because you are the last of the Jedi. Once you are dead, then they have won.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. I am not a Jedi, not any longer. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. But I was exiled from the Jedi Order. Dark Side Points Gained: -1
3. The next time someone calls me a Jedi, they'll be lying in a pool of their own blood.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Whatever lies you tell yourself are of no consequence. The Sith believe you to be a Jedi Knight, and that is all that matters. KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Exile or not - the Sith believe you to be a Jedi Knight, and that is all that matters. KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: The Sith will dare to accuse you of such - they believe you to be a Jedi Knight, and that is all that matters.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. But... last of the Jedi? That can't be true. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. What happened to the Jedi? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. The Jedi Order can't be gone.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: The Jedi Civil War destroyed the Jedi. By the war's end, barely a hundred Jedi remained. Many fell in battle... and many more were seduced by Revan's teachings.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. What about the Jedi on Dantooine? And Coruscant? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. But those Jedi who survived - what happened to them?
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: The Jedi Academy on Dantooine is nothing more than a crater that echoes with the ghosts of dead Jedi. And the Jedi Temple on Coruscant lies empty. The waters in the Room of a Thousand Fountains have fallen still, in reverence to the fallen Jedi... and those now lost. Many Jedi blamed the teachings of the Jedi Masters for Revan's fall... and the civil war that followed. KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Many Jedi blamed the teachings of the Jedi Masters for Revan's fall... and the civil war that followed. The Jedi Academy on Dantooine is nothing more than a crater that echoes with the ghosts of dead Jedi. And the Jedi Temple on Coruscant lies empty. The waters in the Room of a Thousand Fountains have fallen still, in reverence to the fallen Jedi... and those now lost.
Light Side Points Gained: +1
1. If any survivors still live, we need to warn them.
Dark Side Points Gained: -1
2. Then the Jedi are dead, gone... and good riddance.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Perhaps, but they are Jedi no longer. If the Sith have not already slain them, then they will not help you, nor can you help them.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Before, you said the Harbinger was on its way to Telos? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Then how do we stop the Sith?

You can ask how do you stop them:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. We got away from the Sith - now how do we stop them?
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: That... is not an easy question to answer. This threat is greater than you know... and I do not believe it is a battle that can be fought.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. If we don't stop them, they're going to keep coming. Dark Side Points Gained: -1
2. They're eager to fight us - I say we fight back.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. So what do you think we should do?
Dialog
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Look - enough with the "we," already.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: We cannot hope to triumph against them alone. To stop them, you will need weapons, allies, and... a teacher. In the end, I fear it may not be enough.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. What do you mean? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. But we have no other choice. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Any enemy can be fought - and killed. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. I will not run from the Sith, or anyone.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: You fought in the Mandalorian Wars, and it cost you everything. Are you willing to sacrifice as much again?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. The Mandalorian Wars were my choice. Dark Side Points Gained: -1
2. If these Sith threaten me, then they die.
Light Side Points Gained: +1
3. This is self-defense, not war.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. We must stop them. There's no other option.

Otherwise:

Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 5. Is there some place we could hide? Or run to?
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: That's the first smart thing I've heard since you two started talking.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: For a time, yes. Telos may be such a place - all our paths seem to lead us there. Perhaps there, if you are willing, I can train you, help you to survive a while longer.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Perhaps with the right training, I can fight this threat. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. That'll give us time to get allies on our side. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. And we let them come to us, set a trap for them.

In every case:

KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: You are not listening to me. This is not like any field of battle you have ever fought in. Think carefully on your choice. If you choose to fight, if you choose war, it is a path few turn from once the first steps are taken. It carries with it a terrible price. And in the end, you may find you have nothing left to sacrifice.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. I have nothing to lose now - how bad could it be? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I turned away from war once, I can do it again. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. If I do not try, then we have lost anyway. Dark Side Points Gained: -1
6. Only the Sith will pay the price - for crossing me.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Pah, like so many Jedi, you hear, but you do not listen. You have much to learn.

Otherwise:

Light Side Points Gained: +1
4. A Jedi's life is sacrifice - it is a small price to pay.
Light Side Points Gained: +1
5. If evil is not fought, then we sacrifice the galaxy.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Your fool's words echo of a Jedi - you have much to learn.

Once you've heard or spoken long enough:

Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. I've heard enough. None of this interests me. KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: But we have spoken long enough - and my wound pains me. If you have other questions, find me in the crew quarters... there, we will speak more.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: My wound pains me. If you have other questions, find me in the crew quarters... there, we will speak more.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Hey, don't stop your long, boring rants on my account. I was just getting sleepy-eyed.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Also, in private, we will be mercifully free from the opinions of imbeciles and fools.

Kreia retires to the privacy of the port dormitory. If you try to speak to Atton again before her, then he just repeats the following, although you can only move closer to the light side of the Force once:

KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Look, uh, not like I care or anything, but you might want to go check on our passenger - especially with that hand of hers.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. She seemed well enough for someone who had just lost her hand. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I'm sure she can take care of herself.

Otherwise:

Light Side Points Gained: +1
3. You're right, she may need help - can you handle things up here?
Dialog
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: We're on autopilot until we hit Telos. Until then, a droid could fly this thing. Besides, I think our passenger could use your help.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. What makes you say that?

In every case:

KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: I think she was barely keeping it together - I'm surprised she's able to stand with all that pain rolling off of her.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. What are you talking about? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. She didn't seem in pain to me.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Are you blind? If I were her, I'd be screaming like a stuck mynock. Well, I mean a very strong, manly mynock. I think she's just too proud to show any weakness... especially in front of you.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. That's odd. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. That's a poor assumption to be making.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Is it? In case you hadn't noticed, she won't say two words to me, but she'll talk your ear off any chance she gets. What you think matters to her... a lot. She wants you to respect her. Besides, we haven't got much else to do until Telos.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. When did you get sensitive?
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Oh, don't give me that. All it takes is being around people enough to read them. You should try it sometime.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. I'll go check on her, then. Light Side Points Gained: +1
3. You're right, she may be in pain - I'll see if I can go help.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. If it'll shut you up, then I'll go check on her. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I'll go see her, then - if only to pass the time.
Journal Entry Added Recent History: Bonus Mission
You have escaped Peragus - you think you know enough of what transpired to put together most of the pieces that brought you to the facility.

If you try to use the Galaxy Map on the west wall to the right before speaking to Kreia again:

[The astrogation system is currently locked down.]

Kreia

Exit the cockpit to the south and follow the corridor to the main hold: you may see T3-M4 moving around the ship, but there's no new reason to speak to him now (unless you want him to stop this). Exit the main hold via the west corridor to the right, and follow it to the port dormitory to the northwest. Speak to Kreia:

KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Have you come for more answers? There is little more left to give.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. When you lost your hand... I felt it, too. Light Side Points Gained: +1
2. Your hand - is there anything I can do?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. If you refer to your hand, the choice was yours.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: That does not surprise me - any more than you hearing my thoughts when we were apart. The pain, however, was unexpected; if I could, I would have shielded you from it. KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Of course it was. I knew what was necessary - and that I was the only one who stood between you and him.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: This wound... is a physical thing, and will fade with time. It was necessary... some things may only be learned from sacrifice.
Light Side Points Gained: +1
1. If I could, I would have protected you.
Light Side Points Gained: +1
2. I'm sorry for your loss.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Save your pity. I am here to save you, not the other way around.
Influence Lost: Kreia
Dark Side Points Gained: -1
3. Then consider the pain a lesson.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Looks to me like you're the one who needs help. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Seems to me you need to learn to listen. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. If we travel together, then we need to work together.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: I do not need your condescension, nor your lectures. If anyone needs training and guidance, it is you.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. If I felt the loss of your hand, what would have happened if you had died? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. The pain I felt when you lost your hand - what if it had been more intense? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. And what if you had died?
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: I do not know. I fear that... the consequences... would have been more extreme.

Otherwise:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Then teach me to shut out your pain. Next time, it could be worse.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: I do not know if it is possible... and I fear that had the pain been more intense, the consequences would have been more extreme.

In every case:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. More extreme? I felt like my hand was dipped in molten carbonite.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Then the sensation you would feel upon my death might be less than that... though much quicker.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Like what consequences? Death? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Would it have been lethal? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Quicker? Would it have killed me? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Are you saying my life is tied to yours?
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Possibly, yes, and I fear it works both ways. I would not wish to test it... nor should you.
Light Side Points Gained: +1
1. What can we do? I don't want my actions to place you at risk.
Light Side Points Gained: +1
2. Then we'll work together and try to be careful until we can fix this.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: When battle is upon us, I suspect our minds are prepared enough to shield each other from the pain. I think we shall not have a repeat incident of what happened at Peragus.

Otherwise:

Dark Side Points Gained: -1
3. This link is a threat to me - and an inconvenience. We need to sever it, now.
Dark Side Points Gained: -1
4. But at your age you could die any moment, especially considering the way you act.
Dark Side Points Gained: -1
5. I will not allow my life to be tied to some half-dead delusional old woman.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: If you think a connection to one such as yourself gives me any comfort, then you would be wrong. I desire this no more than you do. It seems that at times of stress - and pain, if it catches us unawares, then the pain is transmitted between us.

In every case:

Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. How could this bond have happened? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I have never heard of a link like this before, in holocrons, or in the Jedi histories. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Does our connection have any advantages?
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: I confess its nature eludes me as well. But the bond is strong, and its roots run deep.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: It seems the Force flows easily between us - when one of us manipulates the Force to heal or strengthen ourselves, the other is aided as well.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. [You and Kreia possess the Force Chain special ability. When either of you uses a Force power on yourself, the other gains the benefit as well.]
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: A powerful technique indeed - though, as we have noticed, it has its drawbacks.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 5. I think I've heard enough.

That is your first chance to end this dialog:

KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: I would see to that fool in the cockpit - and remind him of our destination. I would not want him attempting to veer from Telos.
Light Side Points Gained: +1
1. The fool has a name. I'd like you to start using it.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2, He's not a fool - but he does feel odd to me. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Atton isn't so bad, just... well, maybe he is.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. I'll crack his skull into the bulkhead if he tries. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 5. Will do. I'll go see him now.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: He is a fool and an imbecile, his potential lies downwards, not up. Watch that one. His thoughts are slippery... I do not trust him, and nor should you. Such a man serves himself first... and his "allies" next.

Kreia repeats that if you speak again, although you can only move closer to the light side of the Force once. You can now return to Atton in the cockpit, or you can ask other questions (this isn't necessary, but they cannot be asked once you've traveled to Telos: Citadel Station):

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 5. I had other questions for you.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Ask, and I will answer.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. So what do we do now?
Dialog
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: I do not know. The Sith struck more swiftly than I thought. And they will not stop until they have you in their grasp. If you fall, all the galaxy will echo it.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. But there must be some place we can go. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Is there any place where we can retreat to? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. We can't keep running until they catch us. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. There were other questions I wished to ask you.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: It does not matter where we go - it is not the destination that matters, it is the journey. All paths will take us to the end, whatever it may be, and no matter how strongly we fight against it. For now, we are bound for Telos, and that is enough.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Where are we bound again? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Enough for what?
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: The planet Telos, decimated by the Sith during the Jedi Civil War.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Before the war, Jedi who failed their training were sent to the fields of Telos, to serve the galaxy... not as Jedi Knights, but as farmers and laborers. The destruction of Telos was complete - I doubt any Jedi remain. Yet there may be... echoes of their passing. We shall see.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. And if we find no trace of Jedi teachings on Telos to help us? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. That plan seems weak. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. We don't have the time to scour an entire planet for Jedi relics.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Then I am left with nothing more than we had already - my faith in you, and your ability to meet what comes.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. This is a lot to take in at once. I need time to reflect on this.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I need to know more about the Sith hunting us.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: These Sith... they seek the death of all Jedi. As have all the Sith since the Jedi Order was first split.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. First split? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. There was another Jedi Civil War? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. The Sith were once Jedi?
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Yes... the Jedi Civil War is not the first one of its kind - thousands of years ago, the Jedi had another civil war that split the Order. It was a... terrible thing. A faction among the Jedi abandoned the teachings of the order, following their own path. They waged war on their fellow Jedi, a war that raged across the galaxy. But these fallen Jedi were cast out, defeated, and they retreated to worlds in the Outer Rim. Over time, they took on the mantle of the Lords of the Sith. But in their hearts, they never forgot the Jedi. The hatred for the Jedi Order burns in their veins like fire, and echoes in their teachings. Revan tasted it... as Malak did.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. So these Sith continue the crusade? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. But these Sith seem... different. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Are they following Malak's path?
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: In a manner of speaking... they are different from Malak in that they are concerned only with the destruction of the Jedi. For them, it is all that matters... all that ever mattered. It is a different war these Sith wage, a thing of silence and shadow. They strike from the darkness, hiding from the face of the galaxy, until all Jedi are exterminated. After all the Jedi are gone, then the galaxy is theirs, no matter whether the Sith or the Republic rules... it is the dark side that shall reign, unchecked.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. I've never seen Sith... assassins like those on the Harbinger. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. If those Sith assassins are the best the Sith have to offer, we have little to fear. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. The Sith on Peragus knew some Force techniques, but they were extremely weak.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: I believe them to be the result of... special teachings. Their apparent weakness against you is evidence of this. Those Sith assassins can sense their prey through the Force - it is like a hunger. They feed... and grow stronger... when they are near Force Sensitives. The stronger their prey is in the Force, the deadlier they become. As long as you were cut off from it, you were able to evade their sight. But after Peragus, I fear that you will be no longer shielded from their eyes or the eyes of their masters. The stronger you grow, the more will come.

You can gain or lose influence and move closer to the light or dark side of the Force by asking about the following:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. When we were on Peragus, I could feel the Force again.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Indeed? And was it the same as before?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. No... it felt... different. Faint. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. It was like a whisper, at the edge of hearing.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: If my suspicions are correct, perhaps the damage the Jedi Council did was not as permanent as they thought. It is not an easy thing, to cut one off from the Force.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Wait... the Jedi did this to me? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. If they were responsible, they had no right! KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I don't believe the Jedi would do such a thing.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: What did you believe? That you suddenly lost your connection with the Force without reason?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. It's not possible to cut one off from the Force. It's like deafening someone... or blinding them. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. But to cut one off from the Force... it's like losing all your senses at once.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Indeed it is. It is much like losing one's ability to listen, or being put into a deep sleep, unable to awaken to the galaxy around you. Such a thing has been done before, when Jedi have pronounced sentence on their own... and exiled them, as they did you.
Light Side Points Gained: +1
1. I don't believe the Jedi would inflict such a punishment on someone. It seems... too cruel.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Then there must be a way to reverse what they did. Dark Side Points Gained: -1
3. If the Jedi were not already gone and dead, I would end their lives for doing this to me.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: If not the Jedi, then what did you think was the cause of such a loss?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. In defying the Jedi Order to follow Revan to war, I thought I had somehow lost my connection to the Force. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I thought I had lost it by my actions, by forgetting my training and the teaching of the Jedi. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I had thought the Mandalorian Wars the cause... I did much that I am not proud of. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. I believed that serving Revan had... corrupted me. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 5. I thought that the war had driven me to the dark side, and severed me from my powers.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: War leaves many scars, but rarely does it blind one to the Force. If anything, conflict and challenge may make the connection stronger, more intense. No matter what horrors you experienced in the war, no matter who you served, it is unlikely that the Force would be lost to you unless another factor was involved.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Can my connection to the Force be healed? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I would do anything to restore my connection to the Force. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Can anything be done? There must be a way.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: It is possible that such a thing can be undone. Still... even so, the chances of the Jedi undoing such a thing for a traitor... is a slim thing at best, assuming they yet live.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. But you said it's possible. How? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Slim is better than none. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. But the Force... I can feel it again, if only slightly.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Our link... may have had other consequences. Perhaps you can hear the Force again... distantly, through me. If so, then there is hope. I may be able to teach you, train you to feel the Force again. And if you will not allow me to help you, then other Jedi must train you... or undo the damage they have done.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. But there are no more Jedi. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I will honor whatever training you wish to give me. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. You? Train me? You can barely stand. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. I am my own Master, I have no need of teachers.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Then I am your only hope - as you are mine. We are a sad pair, you and I, to defend the galaxy against such a thing. KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Do not honor me, fallen Jedi - honor it by listening and learning. Do that, and perhaps we shall survive this thing, you and I. KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: I fear there may be no other choice. The threat we face is grave... if you cannot defend yourself, then we have already lost. KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Life never ceases to teach, fallen Jedi... it is only when one ceases to listen that we grow still... and die.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: I offer to train you to become strong again, to know the ways of the Force, and to hear the Force sing within you as it once did.
Light Side Points Gained: +1
1. I would welcome whatever aid you offer.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I accept you as a teacher... for now. Dark Side Points Gained: -1
3. If your training brings me power, then I will listen.
Influence Gained: Kreia Influence Gained: Kreia
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Then our training shall begin. Whenever I travel with you, I shall impart what I can to you, through my words and presence.

Otherwise:

Dark Side Points Gained: -1
4. I have no use for mentors... but a servant, yes.
Dark Side Points Gained: -1
5. A long-winded scow in my thoughts is enough. Leave me be.
Influence Lost: Kreia
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: That is... acceptable. Whenever I travel with you, I shall impart what I can to you, through my words and presence. KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Very well. The choice is yours... when we travel, simply leave me behind, and you shall be saved from my counsel.

One last question...

Galactic History

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. Can you tell me what has happened since the Mandalorian Wars?
Dialog
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Much has happened in the galaxy in your absence. and since the defeat of the Mandalorians at Malachor V.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. What happened after the war? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I want to know about Revan and Malak.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: As you know, Revan and Malak went to war against the Mandalorians... and you followed under Revan's banner.

Otherwise:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Tell me about the Mandalorian Wars.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: It is a tale you already know well. Almost a decade ago, the Mandalorians began preying on the Republic, bringing the fires of war to many planets along the Outer Rim. Their predations continued, on planet after planet, until the Republic finally begged the Jedi Council for aid.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. But the Jedi Council didn't help... only a few of the Jedi Knights did. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. The Jedi Council agreed but did not move fast enough. So we had to. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. But only some Jedi Knights answered the call... like I did.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Indeed. The Jedi Council counseled caution and patience to... assess the Mandalorian threat as the Outer Rim burned.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I know this part. What happened after the war? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I want to know about Revan and Malak.

Otherwise:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. And Revan and Malak refused to wait.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Two Jedi Knights, Revan and Malak, defied the Jedi Council. They challenged the Mandalorian fierceness and brutality on the battlefield with a viciousness of their own. Revan's entrance into the conflict marked the true beginning... and end... of the war. It was Revan who drove the Mandalorians back into the Unknown Regions.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Until we destroyed them... at Malachor V. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. The Mandalorians fought savagely - to the end. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Even in that final battle, we almost lost the war.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Yes, I have heard tales of Malachor V... and Revan's part in it. I know you served there, in that final battle. It must have been a terrible thing. KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Yet Revan triumphed... but you know this, for you were there at Malachor V when the Mandalorians were crushed beneath Revan's might.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Many Jedi died at Malachor V... and the conflict split the Jedi Order. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Malachor V is in the past - let it stay there, forgotten. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I asked you what you know, not what I know.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: You speak the truth. The wars' end was merely another beginning, and what seemed a victory for the Republic was far from it. KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: You asked what had happened, and I am telling you - the past sent echoes into the future, and what seemed a victory for the Republic was far from it.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Many believed the Mandalorians defeated at Malachor V. But the Mandalorians taught the Jedi much through battle. And so it was that Malak, Revan, and the Jedi that followed them discovered their true natures in the Mandalorian crusade. But you know this.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. I felt them fall - the war had consumed them. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. But some battles must be fought. It was not Revan's failing. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. And if I could, I would have followed them.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Consumed them? No - taught them, defined them, yes. KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Did Revan fail... or was it the failure of the Jedi teachings? A question for another time perhaps. KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: If you had followed them, then you would have learned the lesson of a follower. Perhaps it was fortunate you did not.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: As Revan and Malak fought the Mandalorians in battle after battle, they grew to despise weakness, just as the Mandalorians did. In the end, the Mandalorians had taught them through conflict. Shaped the Jedi. And turned them into a weapon - against the Republic.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. And that was the Jedi Civil War. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. What happened next? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Didn't the Jedi Order try to stop them?
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Revan and Malak and all the Jedi that served them turned against the Republic and the Jedi Order. Jedi fought Jedi. Revan was ambushed by the Jedi and captured. Malak continued to wage war in his Master's place, inflicting terrible wounds on the Republic... wounds that bleed still.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. How were Malak and the Sith defeated? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. What happened to Malak? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. The Republic is weak. They couldn't have beaten Malak.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: As all Sith do, without a strong enemy, the Sith turned on each other. Revan escaped the Jedi and returned to finish Malak... and that was the end of the Jedi Civil War.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. But what happened to Revan? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Does Revan still live? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Did the Jedi recapture Revan?
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: No one knows... certainly not I. Korriban lies in ruins, Revan is gone, and the blade of war she promised to stab into the heart of the galaxy has withdrawn. KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: No one knows... certainly not I. Korriban lies in ruins, Revan is gone, and the blade of war he promised to stab into the heart of the galaxy has withdrawn. KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: No one knows... certainly not I. After defeating Malak, Revan left the Republic, and there are none who know where she has gone. KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: After defeating Malak, Revan left the Republic, and there are none who know where he has gone.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Where Revan wanders now, I do not know. KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: It is said that the Sith remnants turned on themselves after Revan defeated Malak, reducing Korriban to ruin, as the Republic still bleeds and struggles for life.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. So Revan saved the Republic? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. You're saying Revan abandoned the war? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Revan turned against Malak - for the sake of the Republic?
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: It would seem that way... from a certain point of view, perhaps. The Jedi Civil War left wounds that have yet to heal... we shall see if the Republic has the strength to survive.
Dark Side Points Gained: -1
2. If the Republic is weak, it didn't deserve to win.
Dark Side Points Gained: -1
3. Malak and Revan should have crushed the Republic.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Perhaps. It is sometimes... difficult to find truth in the Jedi Civil War. Was it the Republic that defeated Malak, or was it Revan? If it was Revan, then the Republic was never truly tested.
Light Side Points Gained: +1
1. Then we must do what we can until it has a chance to recover from the war.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. So? What does it matter? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. The Republic won... that is the only truth. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Get to the point - if there is one.
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: A culture's teachings, and most importantly, the nature of its people, achieve definition in conflict. They find themselves... or find themselves lacking. Too long did the Republic remain unchallenged. It is a stagnant beast that labors for breath... and has for centuries. The Jedi Order was the heart that sustained its sickness - now the Jedi are lost, we shall see how long the Republic can survive.
Light Side Points Gained: +1
1. Can anything be done to help the Republic?
Dark Side Points Gained: -1
2. The Republic has avoided its fate too long - let them burn.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Perhaps it is better the Republic stands on its own.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: We shall see. The Jedi Civil War cost the Republic much - the resources of the Sith seemed limitless. The Republic's was not. Fleets of warships, soldiers and people were lost. Entire planets were decimated - their inhabitants dead... or refugees. It is a great burden for any civilization to bear. And this new threat... it is a quiet thing, unlike the Jedi Civil War. It drives at something deeper than the strength of the Republic. It is aimed at you.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. This threat is directed against me? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. What do you mean? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Because I'm the last Jedi?
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: You see, the war, the true war, has never been one waged by droids, or warships, or soldiers. They are but crude matter, obstacles against which we test ourselves. The true war is waged in the hearts of all living things, against our own natures, light or dark. That is what shapes and binds this galaxy, not these creations of man. You are the battleground. And if you fall, the death of the Republic will be such a quiet thing, a whisper, that shall herald the darkness to come.
Journal Entry Added Galactic History: Bonus Mission
After speaking with Kreia, you learned what happened to your old allies - Malak and Revan - in the time between the Mandalorian and Jedi Civil Wars.

Atton

Once you've spoken to Kreia in the port dormitory, return to the cockpit to speak to Atton again:

KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: How's our passenger? She still aging?
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. For someone without much to say, she sure says a lot. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. She seems fine, just needs some rest.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Yeah, to you, maybe. I don't usually hear much beyond 'fool' and 'imbecile.' She's lucky she's a Jedi, or someone would've killed her years ago. KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Well, she sure could use it. It might do wonders for her mood, too. She's lucky she's a Jedi, or someone would've killed her years ago.

Otherwise:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Cryptic as always.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: What a surprise. Just so you Jedi know, the whole "cryptic routine" isn't mysterious, it's just irritating. If you really can see the future, you should be at the pazaak table.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Considering her age, I doubt she has much future left.

Otherwise:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I don't think Kreia is a Jedi.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Then she must be royalty, because she's got to be Queen of the Galaxy to bark out orders like that. Or maybe she's senile.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: I mean, how old do you think she is? She may have been good-looking once, but it takes some hard living to make creases like that.

Otherwise:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. But to know the future, one must know yourself.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: What was that, some kind of joke? That's what I'm talking about. 'Jedi Talk.' You two should start your own little Jedi Academy.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Maybe she's the right age for it, not me.

Otherwise:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. But to teach, one must be willing to learn.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: All right, all right! Cut it out, I get it, I get it. The last Jedi in the galaxy, I get the comedian who runs around in his underwear. Not that I'm complaining. Most Jedi wouldn't know a joke if it crawled up their lightsabers. Our passenger, for example. KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: All right, cut it out, I get...I get it, I get it. The last Jedi in the galaxy, I get the comedian who runs around in her underwear. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. I mean, compared to the Jedi queen of the galaxy back there, I'd rather be stuck in an escape pod for a year with you than her.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Well, she's been through a lot - especially considering her age. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Considering her age, I don't think she has a year left.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Good point. How old do you think she is, anyway? She may have been good-looking once, but it takes some hard living to make creases like that.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. "Good-looking?" Are you that desperate? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. If she looks good to you, you must have taken a blaster hit when I wasn't looking. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Hard living?
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Hey, I just got out of prison. If we had a decent navicomputer, trust me, we'd be dropping out of hyperspace into the Nar Shaddaa Red Sector right now. After spacing that old witch of course. KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Yeah, her face looks like it was plowed by crazed Ord Mantell farmers. Don't tell me you were too distracted by her personality to notice.
Light Side Points Gained: +1
1. Look, ease off the insults. She was wounded helping us escape, remember?
Dialog
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Whoa, all right, all right! Don't get mad at me. Hey, I didn't ask her to stay behind and get her hand cut off, okay? I mean - I appreciate what she did and all, but she could stand to lay off the insults herself, you know?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Getting empathy from you is like squeezing water from a stone.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Oh yeah? Well, how much water you get from a stone depends what planet you're on, sister. KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Yeah? Well, how much water you get from a stone depends what planet you're on.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Are we still on course for Telos? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Let's focus on getting to Telos for the time being. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. Just cut the chatter and stick to piloting. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Forget it. Just keep your mind on piloting this crate.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Like we have a choice? It's the only place Peragus had logged in their astrogation charts. KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: You call this piloting? This is nothing - if Peragus had any place other than Telos in its astrogation charts, trust me, that's where we'd be headed.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: If you thought Peragus was dead, then Telos is a dying world they're trying to breathe back to life. We should be there before too long. You can check our course on the galaxy map if you want - it's on the wall behind you.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. All right, I'll do that.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: So... what happened?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. To what? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. What are you talking about? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Just mind your business.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Don't give me that. There were plenty of times back on Peragus where a lightsaber would have been helpful. So - where's yours?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Exiles aren't allowed to keep their lightsabers. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. My lightsaber was... taken from me, by the council. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. A Jedi is not defined by their weapon. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. Let's leave my lightsaber out of this.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Oh, yeah? I thought a Jedi was supposed to be married to their lightsaber. Guess I heard wrong. Were you a single hilt or one of those double-bladed Jedi?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. It was a single hilt. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Double-bladed.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Hnh. Figures. It wasn't red, was it? KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Hnh. I hear the twin blades are harder to master, but they can make enemies stampede over each other running for cover. Lot of Jedi in the Mandalorian Wars used double-bladed sabers - a more aggressive blade, gives you more slaughter per swing. Hey, you didn't go red, did you?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Actually, it was - the crystal was redder than a laigrek's eye.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Great. Maybe you and that Sith Lord can have a party after we're dead.

Otherwise:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Both the blade and crystal were unique.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Yeah, unique how?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. It was a blue lightsaber - usually used by Guardians. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. My lightsaber was a green one, like those of the Jedi Consulars. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. A yellow lightsaber, a Jedi Sentinel's blade. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. Violet, like Hurikaine gems in the sunset.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 5. Orange, like Hasaq's sun. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 6. It was a viridian blade, one the Jedi Order had never seen before. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 7. Silver, like the streams in the Room of a Thousand Fountains on Coruscant.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: Must have been something. Sure be nice to have it now - might make those Sith think twice before coming after us.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. It is no matter - it was taken from me long ago. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I think having it would just drive them to hunt me harder.

Otherwise:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I don't remember, and I don't care. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. It has been so long I have forgotten its color. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. I can barely remember what it used to feel like, much less look like, and I couldn't care less if I ever remember.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: I thought a Jedi and their blade couldn't be parted. To lose it was like losing a part of yourself.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. I... don't remember. It was a long time ago. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I don't want to talk about it. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Just fly the ship, all right? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. Save your questions - now is not the time.
KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: All right - forget I said anything. Like I said before, you can check our course on the galaxy map if you want. It's on the wall behind you.

If you speak again:

KotORII Icon Atton.png Atton: We should be there before too long. You can check our course on the galaxy map if you want - it's on the wall behind you.

The Galaxy Map is now unlocked. If you try to travel back to Peragus II:

WARNING: LOCATION INACCESSIBLE
