To win this mission, the Chinese Nuclear Missile facility , Chinese Command Center and the GLA base must be destroyed. This mission can actually be finished in less than 30 minutes. The quicker your base is built up and your offense is mounted, the easier the mission.
Keys to Success
- Build your Particle Cannon as soon as possible. Use the Spy Drone command to locate the Nuclear Missile site on the southeast quadrant of the map.
- Destroy the Chinese Airfield with the Particle Cannon. Chinese jets will continue to harass your offensive units until this is done.
Building Your Base
The base is osmewhat to be quite extensive and barely fits in the area between the southern and northern Patriots that you start the mission with.
- Start building Supply Center and Barracks.
- Select your General Powers. I normally pick the pathfinder, spy drone, the A10 missle strikes and the Palidin Tank. Build an extra Chinook for rapid base expansion.
- Build War Factory, Strategy Center and upgrade a Cold Fusion Reactor.
- Create two Pathfinders and station one by the north Patriot and one by the south Patriot. Around this time, 2 Maurader tanks will attack at the southern Patriot. Use the 2 Crusaders to fend of the attack.
- Build two Tomahawks, one for the eastern defense (to protect from Rocket Buggies) and one on the northern defense.
Chinese MIGs may harass your base until proper antiaircraft facilities are built. Build another southern Patriot and 2 Patriots next to the eastern one.
- Upgrade the rest of your Cold Fusion Reactor.
- Go ahead and build a few Supply Drop Zones for needed supplies. Build/Upgrade the C.F. Reactors as nessesary.
- Wait for sufficient funds and start building Three Particle Cannons. It takes several minutes to aquire the nessesary funds and power for them.
- When the supply dock dwindles, build a pathfinder and 9 Missle Defenders. send them to the southern dock and garrison them into the tower. Take a dozer and build another Supply Center there. Place it on the south-west edge of the tower for maximum protection.
Offensive Operations
Other stratagies call for a land based assault. Do not chose this as your stratagy. Its time consumming for the Tomahawks to destroy the base defenses. The only targets that need to be destroyed is the Chinese Nuke, Chinese Command Center, GLA Command Center, Arms Dealer, Palace and Barracks (I think..mabey not barracks).
- While building up your base, be probing with your Spy Drone to locate the Nuclear Missile. It is a mundane-looking square building on the top of a hill in the center of the southeast quadrant.
- As time permits, locate the Chinese Command Center and Airfield, located in the far southeast corner of the map.
- When all 3 of your Particle Cannons and ready, use 2 to destroy the Nuke and one to destroy the Air Field and any surronding buildings
- Destroy the Chinese Command Center with 2 P.Cannon when ready. A10 Missile strikes and fuel air bombs should be used to destory GLA anti-air and eventually the GLA base.
GLA Base
- When all three P.Cannons are ready to use, use 2 to destroy the Command Center, one to destroy the palace, a Fuel Air Bomb to destroy the Barracks and the A10 Missle Strike to destroy the arms dealer.
