The USA's arsenal is unique because of its cutting-edge technologies, from laser-lock missiles lasers to hovering robots. The attitude of the USA is to strike cleanly and effectively, without resorting to the dated or even crude weapons used by the other factions. This leads to an expensive campaign, forcing selectivity of production options upon the USA.

The USA is the most-played faction online, because of the ease in the execution of their key strategies. Among the lower ranks, the USA is often deemed overpowered for this reason, though the balance is essentially perfect in the higher ranks.

Changes from Generals

USA Structures

  • Fire Base - The Firebase is basically a fixed long-range cannon, which can be garrisonned by four infantry for added security.
  • Detention Center - The DC has been removed from the game entirely. Its intelligence capabilities have been completely merged into the Strategy Center.

USA Units

Infantry

No significant changes.

Vehicles

  • Sentry Drone - The quaint Sentry Drone is intelligence in a can. Immune to anthrax and radiation, this quick little robot can detect stealthed units, and become invisible itself when totally still. The Sentry Drone is a rare sight online because it adds virtually nothing in combat.
  • Avenger - The expensive Avenger serves three purposes. Firstly, it rapidly neutralized nearby enemy missiles
  • Microwave Tank -
  • Ambulance - The Ambulance now not only heals nearby infantry, but now repairs nearby vehicles.

Air Force

  • Stealth Bomber - The Stealth Bomber can now be upgraded with Bunker Busters, which kill the infantry within ANY structure, even dozer-built ones. If used on a Tunnel Network, the Bunker Buster kills all infantry inside and forces all vehicles to evacuate.
