As you enter the Temple of the Ancients, Admiral Varko approaches Darth Malak on the viewing platform of the Star Forge:

Admiral Varko: Lord Malak, the preparations are nearly complete. Every day the Star Forge adds more ships to our fleet, it is operating at nearly 300% of our projections. The fleet is assembling around the Star Forge, and awaits your instructions.
Darth Malak: Patience, Commander. My new apprentice is nearly ready. Once Bastila joins her Battle Meditation to our enormous fleet, we shall be invincible. Then we shall begin our final conquest of the Core Worlds, and the Republic will be crushed forever.

Trapped on a Nameless World[edit]

Despite the wishes of the Rakata, Jolee and Juhani have come with you into the ancient Rakata temple. Together you should be able to find a way to disable the disruptor field and get off this planet.

The Temple entrance is in the middle of the west side of the main floor, with a Massive Door on the opposite side of the corridor in the east wall. If you try to use either one at this point:

[This door is sealed and there is no visible means of unlocking it.]

You need to unlock the massive door by going through the corresponding door on the east side of the main floor, which is accessible by a corridor around the entire perimeter of the Temple, and down into the Catacombs to use the Ancient Computer.

If you simply want to get there as quickly and with as little incident as possible, use the North Corridor for both the inward and outward journeys; otherwise, using the South Corridor as well and exploring the main floor allows you to gain more experience and retrieve more items.

South Security Computer[edit]

Follow the corridor as it winds to the south of the Temple entrance: just before you reach the west end of the South Corridor, there's a locked temple door in the east wall of the northeast corner:

As ever, viewing camera feeds allows you to scout without wasting Computer Spikes downloading an area schematic. The computer in the north security computer room is identical to this one, so feel free to overload its computer power conduit. However, do not overload this computer's power conduit until you've done everything you want to do and made sure at least one party member is either at a safe distance in Solo mode or using an Electrical Capacitance Shield so that none of the 1000 electrical damage is inflicted.

None of the uses for which no experience is received are really worthwhile: at this point you should have no problem killing the droids and sentry turrets without needing to corrupt their targetting programs or deactivate them (and at the very least, Jolee should have Disable Droid even if you or Juhani do not).

South Corridor[edit]

The south corridor has a sea view through the pillars all along its south wall, and it's patrolled by two droids using Blaster Rifles:

Catacombs[edit]

Beyond the temple door in the west wall of the northwest corner of the east guard post is a ramp down to another temple door to the west, beyond which are the Temple Catacombs, where using the Ancient Computer unlocks the Massive Door opposite the Temple entrance on the west side of the main floor, allowing you to reach the Summit.

North Corridor[edit]

The north corridor has a sea view through the pillars all along its north wall, and it's patrolled by two droids using Blaster Rifles.

Beyond the west door is a room containing another Sith assault droid, a Sith acolyte and a footlocker with random contents between the beds by the east wall, while beyond the center door is a room containing a Sith assault droid and a Sith acolyte. Armory[edit]

Beyond the temple doors of the center room to the south of the North Corridor or those to the south and west of the rusted droid in the northeast corner of the main floor is a room containing a male dark Jedi Guardian and a female dark Jedi Sentinel, who challenges you once you cross the threshold:

Beyond the temple door in the west wall of the southwest corner is the southeast corner of a room in which a Sith Master destroys a training droid after you open the door:

Even if his Force Immunity is canceled by Force Breach or it expires, his high natural Force resistance means that even a level 20 Jedi's Force powers will only breach it 45% of the time, which combined with Force Immunity: Fear, Stun and Paralysis makes it (highly) unlikely that he'll be debilitated even with Force Whirlwind or Wound, Choke or Kill. A Force user like Jolee should use (Advanced) Throw Lightsaber against him, if possible (preferably after using an Adhesive Grenade to entangle him).

Experience can be received by using the South Security Computer, or its equivalent in the north security computer room beyond the locked temple door in the south wall at the east end of the North Corridor, to unlock it.

Massive Door[edit]

Once you've entered the Catacombs and used the Ancient Computer there to open the massive door on the west side of the main floor opposite the Temple entrance, then you can return to it to do so.

West Guard Post[edit]

Beyond the massive door is the west guard post, containing two melee Sith sentry droids.

Summit[edit]

Beyond the temple door in the east wall of the southeast corner of the west guard post is a ramp up to another temple door to the east, beyond which is the Temple Summit.

Temple Exit[edit]

Once you've used the Ancient Computer on the summit to shut down the planetary disruptor field and the Temple energy shield, then you can return to the main floor to exit the Temple to the west.
