Aran is a new race, which is currently available in the test server of the Korean version of MapleStory.

The Aran race has a new area (which is currently unreleased) made for them. (much like the Knights of Cygnus have Ereb). It is called Lienne. There is currently only one job for the Aran Race, this job is simply called Aran for now and they use Pole Arms for weapons.

On top of all that has already been said, they also have a new combo system created just for them. You increase your combo counter by continuously hitting monsters, and as it increases your damage does too. On top of that some of their skills can only be used if your combo counter is over a certain value.
