Requirements[edit | edit source]

  • Party of 3-6
  • Level 150+ (Recommended level: 150-169)
  • Party members and leader to have Soaring skill.
  • Max 5 entries daily
  • Time Limit 20 Minutes, 3 Minutes for cave stage (Average Time needed: 1-2 Minutes total)

Chief Tatamo has a request for you to stop the Dragon Rider, who has been terrorizing the residents of Leafre. Talk to Matada to initiate the pre-quests, and obtain the Soaring Skill (pre-quests requires at least Level 120). Once obtained, form a party of 3-6 people level 150 or higher and click on the portal to initiate the party quest.

Stage 1[edit | edit source]

When you first enter the PQ, you will encounter Soaring Hawks and Eagles. Use soaring skill to fly and eliminate everything.

Achievement Ratio: 20%

Stage 2[edit | edit source]

Same as Stage 1, but this time, you will encountering Soaring Red, Blue, and Black Wyverns, as well as Soaring Griffey, which has the same skills as the real Griffey.

Achievement Ratio: 20%

Stage 3[edit | edit source]

When you enter this stage, you will encounter Dragonoir. Kill Dragonoir and head into the cave on the right. Watch out, Dragonoir can move around and fly.

Achievement Ratio: 20%

Stage 4[edit | edit source]

This is somewhat similar to a jump quest, except in this case you are flying. Use your soaring skills to move across the map, while avoiding the falling rocks and spears coming from a few platforms. ALL members MUST move across the map within 3 minutes or you will be kicked out.

Stage 5[edit | edit source]

When this stage is entered, move to the right, and Dragon Rider will appear. He will remove his cloak and start to attack you, and you must stop him. Simple. Kill the Dragon Rider. Skills he can use:

  • Lava-based attack that leaves marks on the ground, similar to Zakum's lava pillar skill
  • Fire a laser, which can be avoided by ducking.
  • Swiping his claws at you, knocking you back.
  • Summon 2 Soaring Black Wyverns
  • Heal himself and surrounding monsters for around 100,000 HP

Once defeated, head to the portal on the left of the map (Note, you must kill any Wyverns summoned as well). When you press up on the portal, Dragon Rider will re-appear as an NPC, and will give you a quest, provided you haven't completed it already. Afterwards, exit the map and you will receive a box based on your job. It may contain potions, pills, a level 100 armor for your job, or a level 105 Dragon Rider weapon.

Achievement Ratio: 40%

Rewards[edit | edit source]

Item[edit | edit source]

Dragon Rider will drop 1 Dragon Scale. You must have an Etc slot to obtain it (only 1 party member is needed to pick it up, if you do not have an Etc slot when someone picks it up you forfeit that item)

  • Swap 5 for a 70% Tablet scroll of your choice (Stats on Armor, Accessory). Only usable on items with Durability.

EXP[edit | edit source]

, capped at Level 169. EXP values are before PQ set effects and assuming 100% achievement ratio (EXP is directly proportional to achievement ratio).

If you are 20 or more levels below the average party level, EXP reward is reduced by 80%.
