Aran are very similar to warriors. You should put 3 Strength and 2 Dexterity, since the Aran quests are required to kill monsters that are similar to your level, or higher. Unlike warriors, though, dexterity helps Aran get stronger, like strength. Sometimes less dexterity is needed if you scroll an equipment to add dex.
