This page serves to cover the weapon-only equipment upgrade system called the Soul Weapon.

Mechanics

Every Weapon that is Level 75 or higher (Level 100 or higher for Augmented souls) can receive powers from a soul of a boss. The amount of power depends on the boss, usually the higher the difficulty of the boss, the stronger the power.

  • Weapons will need a Soul Enchanter 30%/60%/100% to open up a soul slot (Max 1 slot). No chance of destruction if you fail. All soul enchanters are untradeable except special event rewards.
    • 30% Soul Enchanters can be dropped by all monsters at a very low rate.
    • 60% Soul Enchanters can be dropped by all raid boss monsters at a low rate.
    • 100% Soul Enchanters are obtained from events (usually gachapon style)
  • Each boss (not all) may drop its soul shard, collect 10 to exchange for a random soul of that boss. Each soul will provide specific stats, except for Augmented souls which can give generally more powerful but random stats.

Boss Souls

There are 6 categories of Boss Souls. Each category will provide the same amount of stats (except Elite Bosses).

All souls (except Augmented, Murr Murr, Tutu and Nene) are untradeable, expires in 30 days if not attached. Certain events may award non-augmented souls that are tradable without any expiry date. Souls are permanent once attached into your weapon or into the Collector Book.

  • Murr Murr souls are tradable and do not expire regardless of type.
  • Tutu and Nene souls are untradeable and do not expire regardless of type (including Augmented). These souls will drop directly instead of soul shards.
  • Augmented souls are more powerful than regular souls that they can only be used on Weapons Level 100 or higher. They are tradable and do not expire. Upon attaching or replacing a soul, it will provide a random stat at equal probability based on its tier.

The base acquisition rate for each type of soul are as follows.

To attach or replace a soul, simply drag from your Use inventory and drop into your equipped weapon, or use the skill Legendary Spirit (double clicking will not work).

Soul Charge

Soul Charge will increase as you kill any monsters.

  • More soul charge (3~5) will be given if you kill monsters near your level as opposed to killing monsters way below your level (1~3).
  • Soul charges are capped at 1,000. Dying will reset your soul charge.
  • Soul charges can be used to activate Soul Skills if it is not on cooldown.
  • Your current soul charge will also increase your Weapon ATT and Magic ATT, up to 501 soul charges. Increment amount depends on the soul's tier too.

Boss Soul Skills

Soul skills will consume soul charges when used. To use it, either press the skill key set on your keyboard from the beginner skill list, or press the following buttons in sequence: Down arrow key, Down arrow key, Up arrow key, Up arrow key, Normal Attack key.

There are 3 types of skills: Attack, Buff and Summon. The skill is set for each boss, and for bosses with augmented versions of souls, the skill will either be a stronger version, or a completely different skill. Usually, summons are the best as attack skills have a long delay and buffs are generally unsustainable.

Bolded stats indicate the skill stats to be improved upon upgrading the skills to Level 2.

Captain Darkgoo

Normal Version
  • Level 1: Use 100 souls to hit 500% damage 1 time on up to 10 monsters, and inflict 200% damage over time every 2 seconds for 10 seconds, cooldown 120 seconds
  • Level 2: Use 100 souls to hit 600% damage 1 time on up to 10 monsters, and inflict 200% damage over time every 2 seconds for 10 seconds, cooldown 120 seconds

Spirit of Rock

Normal Version
  • Level 1: Use 250 souls to summon Spirit of Rock for 30 seconds, dealing 300% damage at equal intervals on up to 5 monsters, cooldown 120 seconds
  • Level 2: Use 250 souls to summon Spirit of Rock for 30 seconds, dealing 350% damage at equal intervals on up to 6 monsters, cooldown 120 seconds

Prison Guard Ani

Normal Version
  • Level 1: Use 100 souls to hit 2,000% damage 1 time on 1 monster, cooldown 30 seconds
  • Level 2: Use 100 souls to hit 2,400% damage 1 time on 1 monster, cooldown 30 seconds

Xerxes

Normal Version
  • Level 1: Use 100 souls to hit 700% damage 1 time on up to 5 monsters, cooldown 30 seconds
  • Level 2: Use 100 souls to hit 900% damage 1 time on up to 6 monsters, cooldown 30 seconds

Ephenia

Normal Version
  • Level 1: Use 200 souls to increase your and nearby party members' HP and MP by 50% for 180 seconds, cooldown 300 seconds
  • Level 2: Use 200 souls to increase your and nearby party members' HP and MP by 60% for 210 seconds, cooldown 300 seconds

Rex

Normal Version
  • Level 1: Use 200 souls to hit 1,000% damage 1 time on up to 10 monsters, ignoring 100% DEF. Cooldown 60 seconds
  • Level 2: Use 200 souls to hit 1,000% damage 1 time on up to 12 monsters, ignoring 100% DEF. Cooldown 60 seconds

Dragon Rider

Normal Version
  • Level 1: Use 100 souls to hit 1,000% damage 1 time on up to 15 monsters, and also deals 300% damage every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. Cooldown 30 seconds
  • Level 2: Use 100 souls to hit 1,200% damage 1 time on up to 15 monsters, and also deals 300% damage every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. Cooldown 30 seconds

Mu Gong

Normal Version
  • Level 1: Use 250 souls to increase damage by 30% for 10 seconds, cooldown 150 seconds
  • Level 2: Use 250 souls to increase damage by 30% for 20 seconds, cooldown 150 seconds

Pianus

Normal Version
  • Level 1: Use 100 souls to slow monsters by 80% for 10 seconds, cooldown 30 seconds
  • Level 2: Use 100 souls to slow monsters by 80% for 15 seconds, cooldown 30 seconds

Balrog

  • Level 1: Use 200 souls to hit 1,500% damage 1 time on up to 12 monsters. Cooldown 120 seconds

  • Level 1: Use 250 souls to summon Cygnus for 90 seconds to deal 1,000% damage on 6 monsters. Cooldown 150 seconds.

Collector Book

To open the soul book, on the soul weapon tooltip, click on "Soul Collec-tor" button. It will show all the boss souls inside the book.

You can store souls inside the book as collection. Once you stored all types of soul for the same boss, you can get to look at the hidden picture in game, and the soul skill will upgrade to Skill Level 2.
